Illustrating the Travel Power Changes in Page 2
Glacier Peak replied to Bopper's topic in Open Beta Testing
@Bopper, I collected some numbers for Infiltration (though I noticed just now that you already have your own data, so disregard!). The highest running speed that can be achieved slotted in Infiltration is 45.64 MPH and the highest leaping speed that can be achieved slotted in Infiltration is 44.65 MPH. The highest jumping height that can be achieved slotted in Infiltration is 63.30 FT. It should be noted that the speed caps are tied to similar tier travel speeds (i.e., Ninja, Beast, and Athletic Run). See below for data: Unslotted Infiltration provides the following: 20.05 MPH Running Speed 19.61 MPH Jumping Speed 27.80 FT Jumping Height 1 Level 50+5 Running & 1 Level 50+5 Leaping IO in Infiltration provides the following: 30.67 MPH Running Speed 30.00 MPH Jumping Speed 42.53 FT Jumping Height 1 Level 53 Microfilament Exposure (End/Fly/Jump/Run) HO, 1 Level 50+5 Running, & 1 Level 50+5 Leaping IO in Infiltration provides the following: 37.87 MPH Running Speed 37.05 MPH Jumping Speed 52.52 FT Jumping Height 3 Level 50 Running IOs & 3 Level 50 Leaping IOs in Infiltration provides the following: 39.91 MPH Running Speed 39.04 MPH Jumping Speed 55.34 FT Jumping Height 6 Level 53 Microfilament Exposure (End/Fly/Jump/Run) HOs in Infiltration provides the following: 43.00 MPH Running Speed 42.06 MPH Jumping Speed 59.63 FT Jumping Height 6 Level 50+5 Running IOs in Infiltration provides the following: 45.64 MPH Running Speed 19.61 MPH Jumping Speed 27.80 FT Jumping Height 6 Level 50+5 Leaping IOs in Infiltration provides the following: 20.05 MPH Running Speed 44.65 MPH Jumping Speed 63.30 FT Jumping Height -
Travel Power Updates in Issue 27, Page 2
Glacier Peak replied to Jimmy's topic in Developer's Corner
For anyone interested in what different slotting can achieve in Infiltration, please see below. I also confirmed what @siolfir said, that Infiltration is affected by in combat travel suppression like Athletic/Ninja/Beast Run. My personal favorite slotting is 1 Level 53 HO (End/Run/Jump), 2 Level 50+5 IOs (Run & Jump). The highest running speed that can be achieved slotted in Infiltration is 45.64 MPH and the highest leaping speed that can be achieved slotted in Infiltration is 44.65 MPH. The highest jumping height that can be achieved slotted in Infiltration is 63.30 FT. It works well as a Defense based power, allowing slotting of defensive set IOs while providing concealment and modest travel speeds. It is an interesting power - the only thing I would want looked at in the future is allowing its use in conjunction with other stealth powers (similar to the way this issue modified travel powers working synergistically). Unslotted Infiltration provides the following: 20.05 MPH Running Speed 19.61 MPH Jumping Speed 27.80 FT Jumping Height 1 Level 50+5 Running & 1 Level 50+5 Leaping IO in Infiltration provides the following: 30.67 MPH Running Speed 30.00 MPH Jumping Speed 42.53 FT Jumping Height 1 Level 53 Microfilament Exposure (End/Fly/Jump/Run) HO, 1 Level 50+5 Running, & 1 Level 50+5 Leaping IO in Infiltration provides the following: 37.87 MPH Running Speed 37.05 MPH Jumping Speed 52.52 FT Jumping Height 3 Level 50 Running IOs & 3 Level 50 Leaping IOs in Infiltration provides the following: 39.91 MPH Running Speed 39.04 MPH Jumping Speed 55.34 FT Jumping Height 6 Level 53 Microfilament Exposure (End/Fly/Jump/Run) HOs in Infiltration provides the following: 43.00 MPH Running Speed 42.06 MPH Jumping Speed 59.63 FT Jumping Height 6 Level 50+5 Running IOs in Infiltration provides the following: 45.64 MPH Running Speed 19.61 MPH Jumping Speed 27.80 FT Jumping Height 6 Level 50+5 Leaping IOs in Infiltration provides the following: 20.05 MPH Running Speed 44.65 MPH Jumping Speed 63.30 FT Jumping Height -
Travel Power Updates in Issue 27, Page 2
Glacier Peak replied to Jimmy's topic in Developer's Corner
Thanks! Yeah I think that's a tough fix on the back end, but it would be awesome to have Arctic Fog work with Infiltration in the future. As for the movement cap, awesome! Going to be moving at unsuppressed caps* on my main. Edit: With appropriate slotting of course. Which reminds me, will Infiltration take all Running, Leaping, and Universal Movement sets? -

Glacier Peak replied to Jimmy's topic in Developer's Corner
I'm really really excited about how the Concealment pool has changed, specifically Infiltration as a travel power. Two things I'm curious about though: 1. Will Infiltration's movement be surpressed in PvE when attacking? 2. What are the speed caps for Infiltration? (Running, Jump Height, and Jump Speed?) I can just as easily jump on beta when I get home to find out, but if anyone knows of the top of their head 😁 -
You send a message in game, an a GM will assist you. Or you can start a support ticket via the forums. Normal process, whether it's a big bug or a small bug.

If you have a supergroup base, you can select the specific tip mission you need for the badges via the Supercomputer.

Move some of the PvP mini games to RV - Buff/Debuff
Glacier Peak replied to Troo's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Yeah that's a challenge @Greycat. But Homecoming staff have been pretty receptive to inputs from the collective PvP community. Heck they added new arena maps last issue - that alone created tremendous replayability for a least one segment of folks who play this game. -
I am still more than satisfied with the story content that was pushed out last issue and being fixed this issue. The hero and villain arcs have so many new mechanics and story lore in them. Even the npc and enemies are designed well. The reality that the game is back is really awesome and even more so knowing that the past two years have brought such great content from volunteers on Homecoming feels really promising.

Fair enough. Anyways, anything that brings more folks in to PvP zones sounds good to me. -

Glacier Peak replied to Troo's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
You made the suggestion though, is that fair to count yourself? If your soliciting feedback from others on your suggestion, it would make sense not to include yourself in that calculation. -
Well put @Techwright.

Happy with the episode and series. Not a fan of the show using the nation's highest military honor as a point of character motif multiple times (awarded three times?? come on!). I mean new Cap served his country honorably, that should be good enough for the audience IMO. Other than that I'm excited to see where the shield goes now.

Great write up! Love the pictures. Not much of a base person, but I can tell you put in a great deal of effort.

[Request] Build Expansion Round Table
Glacier Peak replied to WanderingAries's topic in PC Builders's Forum
Yeah, I could understand a couple virtual machines or hosting a server. Not even main rig! Well that's not a bad rig regardless. -
Excited to start playing this one after I shelved her!

[Request] Build Expansion Round Table
Glacier Peak replied to WanderingAries's topic in PC Builders's Forum
Man... 64GBs of 4000MHz? Is it cheap? I mean... damn that's a lot of RAM. I have 32GBs of 3000MHz and I never see anything hit 16GBs usage. -
Ya know, I never see a need for those temp p2w buffs when I'm already at the fire defense cap and ageless is perma. No need for any extra recov, regen, def, resist, acc, or dmg... oh yeah so dmg.. why would you turn off insp drops that are free and dropped in great supply during farming and can be used to combine in to reds with the keybind? Edit: Oh I forgot, I think 600% as a combination of the following is where I hit capped dmg anyways on my Brute farmer, what with my global dmg set bonuses, enhancement boosts, incarnate, and BU or FE running, reds poppin on top of 85% fury make it too easy to hit damage cap anyways.

You can also find Legendary in the Character titles for Natural Origin. But like @Faultline said, it's not a badge name.
-
My point was that there is always something writers/artists will do - that readers must suspend disbelief to appreciate.
-
I think each writer/artist takes certain liberties in those nitpicky things. Like, Krypton is destroyed and Superman just happens to have a perfectly fitting uniform? That couldn't have been tailored on Earth, since the clothes are invulnerable(?). Oh wait, a flying man with laser vision who can live in the Sun... maybe I should just suspend disbelief 😁
-
I think my main badger is sitting around 1375(?), but now I am actually getting to enjoy my badge runs. It's funny, but I am intentionally taking my time, even soloing content so that I can read through mission stories and dialogue. I know the 'Master of...' badges are going to be a real grind (unless I can find a good badging group), but other than that, the rest of my badges are just real easy, but time consuming.
-
Wow what an achievement! I've been making my way through all of the task/strike forces in the game, but I haven't got up to the higher tiered ones yet. This makes me both excited and nervous to try on my Ice/Cold Corruptor (I doubt I'll go for the +4 like you though, that is just masochism! 😁)

Focused Feedback: Power Changes (Release Candidates)
Glacier Peak replied to Arcanum's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
That's actually a great powerset combo to use these changes with. I'd like to test it myself, but if you happen to know, do the enemies have time to attack or is there no window for this due to the constant knocking around?
