  1. Absolutely! Throughout the whole of the Rogue Isles every single tram will be on time, all the time. Not one will be late, and neither will it leave just before you reach it! It'll both wait for you to arrive while simultaneously being on time at your station AND making it safely on time to your destination! SCIENCE! Dr. Aeon has ensured it!
  2. Ah. Snag being that the "body" will get up then.
  3. Maybe police investigating the body or something?
  4. There's a dead slab choice, however there's a catch. You have to set the body as a friendly boss and have friendlies around them, or else they GET UP when you get to them. And obviously set them to not follow, just in case.
  5. That Victory and Paragon won't need their own License with NCSOFT?
  6. I find that the story shapes level design. Then again "story" might be "Farm this area for smashing", so that gets nuanced.
  7. Congrats to all! Loved the turn out on Reunion. I also didn't expect to see myself caught in mid run in one of the pics! Had to go chat to a fellow Praetorian, who placed! Well done Citizen Praetoria!
  8. Is that a thing now?
  9. Use the search bar when editing your base. Look for Pillar and you'll get three or four options. The one you want is clearly visible. Saves trying to scroll through everything to find it.
  10. ROFL. Ah, not quite! But if there aren't any ambushes in a Gold side mission then you haven't played a Gold side mission!
  11. At some point I'll have my final Gold AE trilogy done. I've done one for Resistance Warden and one for Resistance Crusader, and one for Loyalist Power. Only Loyalist Responsibility still to go. As that was/is my favourite throughline I'm taking a lot longer because I really want to write the best story I can. These are all 20- 25 by the way.
  12. Mostly you can't, but when doing them through Ouro when the option is presented to report in to your handler, it's worth trying to go see them in person, either in the Underground or the Loyalist Lounge, because SOMETIMES that works! Although if you "qualify" as a Resistance member and then later want to Ouro the Loyalist missions, you won't be able to enter the Loyalist Lounge at all, and vice versa. Worth keeping in mind though.
  13. It's possible. Tricky but possible. Follow the guide (somewhere on here!) and turn off XP at certain points. Don't immediately follow up on Marchand or Scott's missions because you may get a plot hole where it conflicts. There's a few missions where if you take a particular course of action and are attempting to do everything then a contact/person you need to speak to in a different mission is simply not there! But you can get the majority of it done without the guide. You really can, you just can't get ALL of it because you're not meant to from a story POV. I had to get a GM to complete a single mission for me at one point in my flashbacks because the contact was gone. It happens.
  14. It's possible with careful observation and strictly following a guide, to do all of them. However, you were never meant to. The journey is what it is based on the choices you make at the time. Everything else is for Ouro flashbacks, although the undercover Loyalty thing is hell to pull off in those. It's possible in some of them by reporting in person to Marchand or Scott, but not all the time. Calling in won't work. After that you'll be pressured at the end of the Neutropolis arcs to go to Paragon or the Rogue Isles. You DON'T have to (yet). You can go to First Ward via Imperial Underground and continue doing Praetoria related missions, and on into Night Ward. (If you want a set of missions that slot in between Neutropolis and First Ward check out the Praetorian arcs in my AEs below.) And as a Goldsider you will need a base with an Ouro crystal to do Flashbacks since prior to heading to Paragon Goldsiders can't go to Ouroborous. I know this is all possible. My avatar there is my Goldside Main, a level 50 that's STILL Gold.

    New Badge Ideas

Master of Dr. Quaterfield if you do it without any travel powers. Just using sprint/athletic run/etc and the Geysers. Not even a temp flight or jump pack. Call it "The Long Way Round". HA!
  16. No idea to be honest. I've heard stories that the other version has some issues, but that's hearsay. Personally I'd like say a set of options rather than complete customisation. So maybe modern day zombies as well as the ones we get. Or Different uniform Mercs. Or whatever.
  17. You one of the best!
  18. No trouble at all! Just go have the best fun ever!
  19. AH! As someone who has a Thugs MM, that look happens when you get the SECOND power of equiping your henchmen, Upgrade Equipment. Here's the progression. Initial Thugs. Then using the first power, Equip Thugs. Then the second and final power, Upgrade Equipment. The names? Click on the individual thug, or on the name that pops up in the Pet Bar, and select Rename! While you're at it, try using the following /macro "BG" petcom_all follow defensive That will give you a macro button for bodyguard mode, and at the very least is a fast way of recalling all your henchmen to you.
  20. Alas, you might as well spend your time shouting at a mirror for all the good that will do! I've had those exact same thoughts too and still the Council scanner missions continue. Meh. However, this is most definitely NOT saying you should stop writing AEs! Yes, we might be attempting to mop up the incoming tide with about as much success, but ...well, I think it's worth it. That's subjective too obviously.
  21. Yes I did actually. A while ago it seems because I didn't remember the details and went to check and there's that little tick mark saying it was played by me. I don't do what @Kyksie or @cranebump or @TerroirNoir2 do and write reviews though. I simply don't have the time. I just play. And for what it's worth I DO appreciate everyone who writes a story AE over a farm (though they have their own expertise as well). And Easter Eggs are appreciated! I put a few into mine and likewise, I'm damn sure most have been missed. Still, that's the nature of Easter Eggs.
  22. As I said in my earlier post, if I enter a PVP zone to badge and get taken out, that's on me. I had more than enough nonsense though back in the day just trying to leave the damn zone after being killed. Yeah, you've killed me. Got your notch. Now I'm just trying to leave so eff off. No? Dead again. Oh well. There were too many of those versus that one guy in Warburg who saw me collecting scientists for the Nuke and instead of just murdering me just lets me know I've lost my scientist and backs off. Kudos to that guy. Again, MY ultimate frustration is not PVP in itself, as @Greycat says and with gritted teeth I agree, if you step in you agree to the terms and you ARE a target, but the total waste of zones on Redside dedicated to only PVP and a few badges. Go see Bloody Bay and Warburg, fly around (carefully!) and see they're awesome zones. They should be filled with plot and mission arcs. The entire Rogue Arachnos Faction is mere decoration! That's just wrong. The entire VEAT storyline (which gets weaker and weaker as you progress) could benefit from this zone.
  23. I'll not wade into judging anything here only to mention the criteria that I aspire to when writing an AE, which is I want my AE to be as well written, if not better than (and depending on the arc that's occasionally a lower bar than you think) any of the in game arcs. We as AE writers don't have the full set of bells and whistles and so on that the dev team has, so make it as good as possible and try to be smarter about it if we can. I suppose that WAS a wade in, in a way. But there you go. That said, I HAVE played AE arcs that barely follow any of the boundaries I set for myself and I've still had a blast playing them.
