  1. Hmm, suppose instead you were to see the Arenas used properly, like an actual sports league, with individual events and viewerships and special drops for those who participate? An in-world thing where NPCs chat about who won the big fight just now/last week? Because Galaxy City as PVP is not going to revive PVP. Ever. And frankly, Bloody Bay and Warburg should be made PVE and get it over with.
  2. Nope. Much as I love him, he's no Simon Templeman! And by that I am not implying he's better.
  3. Interesting. Though if you were going Voice Actor only I'd personally get Simon Templeman to do it. Plus he'd be cheaper than McShane!
  4. Imagine if the entire things is a "Ben Kingsley - Mandarin" thing, ROFL.
  5. Ok, this is rare. I think I've only seen one other face up defeat like this.
  6. Now, is this just for a single mission or is that cap applied across a full 5 mission arc for instance?
  7. Lots of fun in this one. Take the time to read everything I say!
  8. @LordRassilon has done a Twitch run. [HC:Everlasting] MondAE Discoveries! Player Made Content Night / WST for Double Merits! - Twitch
  9. I see you're briefly with us again @TerroirNoir2! That might sound judgemental but it's not meant to be!
  10. I built some healers for a Cimerora arc with bow and heals. Admittedly they use heal intermittently but they DO use it. Curious.
  11. There we go. All better.
  12. I meant the one directly after my long post, LOL.
  13. @Clave Dark 5 maybe reread your earlier post and...edit it?
  14. Ok, here's the thing, If you're looking for an Ally that can rez YOU/a player then that's not possible. The Ally attaches to a single player and follows them (when they're not battling enemies if Aggressive/Fights Defensive or maybe healing if otherwise) but once that particular player dies then the Ally goes inert and needs to reattach, either to you when you come back in or to another player character. Either way, they won't use rez on a player, alas. As far as the Ally is concerned you are not dead, you're simply not there. Now, giving the Ally their own Rez without having to give them an entire Powerset you don't want to give them? That's easy. Ok, here's how easy that is. You'll need Notepad+, though possibly ordinary Notepad might work. Create a character you want. Now head to https://cod.uberguy.net/html/category.html?pcat=mission_maker_attacks or https://cod.uberguy.net/html/category.html?pcat=mission_maker_secondary And start picking extra powers to give the critter. Only powers from those categories are allowed, everything else you enter will be discarded. Then, open your critter in Notepad (or the text editor of your choosing) and paste the powers' internal name into the critter with "Power" in front of them, then save the file. Only 25 lines of powers can be added, and as per usual AI, half the time they won't use them. And you can't give them two sets of the same power, or two powers that replicate the same effect, because the second one will be ignored. So you open the file with Notepad or Notepad+, and you add in stuff in there, Attacks first then Secondary, in that exact fashion. The file should be found in Games>Homecoming>Architect>Critters. Roughly. Depending on where you've stored your files. SAVE THE FILE And then it should be fine. When you look at the file in AE it should now look like this. Adding a rez in for an ally would need perhaps this line: Power Mission_Maker_Secondary.Regeneration.Revive Or if you want to surprise the enemy NPCs then this might help 🙂 Power Mission_Maker_Secondary.Dark_Armor.Soul_Transfer Hope that helps. NOTE: It is tempting to create crazy enemy NPCs using this, and you can. However these NPCs give NO XP at all. So this is perfect to buff up an ally a bit, with a rez as mentioned. But if you DO want to create a really strange enemy then seed them into a regular set of NPCs, whether your own or COH ones as at least that will provide XP for the group as a whole.
  15. Rivera Heights? Welp, that makes sense since this is the Hospital in Outbreak. As for the plaque in King's Row beside Blue Steel, @cranebump. I spotted a little thing beside it on the ledge that looks like a brochure of some kind.
  16. Oh excellent. I look forward to trying these out. I've just posted the link to our Praetorian SG. And yes, the lack of maps thing is annoying but can't be helped. My own attempts at Praetorian "canon" are set between Neutropolis and First Ward and locked to around levels 19 to 25. See my signature for details.
  17. Thoroughly enjoyed that! Well done.
  18. I'm posting screenshots of how this looks from Spirals: Part One, mission 1. Hidden because someone may not want it spoilered. Oh, the ego! Firstly the Exit Pop Up. And then the clue side by side with what the Team Lead sees. So maybe that will help with Team Play. Maybe no one will ever bother to read them at all, but I've seen enough AEs run where the Team Lead does a chunk of cutting and pasting into Team Chat so that everyone else has an idea of what's happening. Again caveated with the proviso that a mission that has a dedicated Fail or Succeed option can't have one of these, sometimes you really need to use that Mission Complete Clue for something else and finally, if the Team Lead exits the last mission and just clicks on the contact then all the clues vanish.
  19. Just did a little experiment with my Spirals series. It's a thing I can't do on all my AEs though, due to how some of them play out. In team play only the leader sees the Mission Success Dialog. As an experiment I copied that entire section into a Mission Complete Clue at the end of each mission in the Spirals series, calling it Return Transcript 1, 2, 3 and so on. Just so the rest of a potential team can see what happens. They may miss the final one if they log off or the leader clicks the Contact too fast, but nothing I can do about that. Players will get a notification to check the clue once they exit the mission as part of the Exit Pop Up. Like I say, some missions use that clue space already so I can't do anything with those. And I don't think I can do anything about a mission that has a Fail option, since you don't want the Success Transcript clashing with the Fail Transcript and vice versa. But just an experiment.
  20. Hmm, it involves work but..a sort of AE equivalent of a film festival? The arcs will be whatever passion project the writer has and not dictated by a "council" with preconceptions? I need to think about this some more but if anyone has ideas on this post them here and maybe we can hash out a sort of version of community rep for the AE?
  21. See, this is exactly why an SFMA and Farm tab option needs to be considered.
