  1. Only player characters are guaranteed to have mediporters. Anyone else may have them. They may not. And even that fact forms part of a story arc.
  2. It's even trickier than that though 🙂 She's bound to Arachnos, not Recluse.
  3. Saw Nosferatu last year in the cinema for the 100th anniversary. Wonderful on the big screen.
  4. And I was lucky to have met @huang3721! And some other dedicated Goldsiders along the way. Enough to keep a small Gold based SG ticking over, even if it never reaches the numbers of a Red or Blue SG.
  5. I play Goldside all the time! What I wish I was playing was MORE Goldside. I've had to write the continuing Goldside adventures myself in the AE to scratch that itch.
  6. People on here have in the past seen my rants about Praetoria. My personal Head Canon is that ultimately "Who Will Die?" was a Praetorian plot literally intended to take out the one man who could maybe go toe to toe with Tyrant. Recluse's fight against Tyrant is a fake out, so if he'd really tried maybe he'd have a a shot too, we'll never know. However, only Statesman would have tried to do it. It has its issues but it makes more sense to me than "Darrin Wade just happened to have this plan".
  7. If anyone has read the two COH novels, particularly the first one, Statesman is actually a pretty good character. It's a shame that portrayal wasn't ported into the game. (The comics are a mixed bag of "the comic writers weren't given any notes" or "the comic writers didn't care" to "no one sense checked this at all". All of those suppositions may be incorrect, but whatever, the portrayal is erratic and annoying.)
  8. I bemoan the fact that there's no real interaction with Statesman prior to the events in "Who Will Die?" I'd love it if the OG Statesman TF was still possible to do with him standing in IP, and only getting phased out/replaced by Ms Liberty AFTER you've done "Who Will Die?". Of course even if that were possible the LRSF would need to be tweaked as well. Fortunately for us the LRSF DOES exist again via Ouro. And oh yeah, that version can be tough. Hell, even an arc with a flashback scene involving him would help.
  9. That was, look away now @TerroirNoir2,
  10. Yeah, I was really aiming for as near as possible a continuation of the Praetorian storyline from the end of Neutropolis and into First Ward/Night Ward and bringing in elements of the Praetorian War. I really didn't like that the only option was leave. Or at least the only pushed option because you CAN just stay.
  11. I'm just going to bump this because it's frankly worth bumping, even if it IS a thread I started. That's not the point though. Support your local wiki!
  12. I..think I'm one of the ones who started that, but....I was soon joined by other perpetrators!
  13. It's that time again, fellow CoHers! I appreciate all the work put into the Wiki, and use it regularly and I hope you people do too. Support your local Wiki! Unofficial Homecoming Wiki - A City of Heroes Community Wiki
  14. It's her MO in many ways.
  15. Ok, I "got" the gist of that in the dialog. Well, if someone like yourself who knows what's going on reads it, then you'll see. But there's enough obfuscation to throw smoke too!
  16. NOT going to happen. You know it, I know it, hell most of the AE gang probably know it by now, never mind the people I pester in game and on here.
  17. Right now we're stuck with it. Options are (a) never use that line of dialog; (b) use it when you want the player to "overhear" stuff they probably shouldn't. But mostly (a) for me.
  18. Yep, I have that accounted for, albeit in passing dialog from Cleo. My main issue is I can't see where Marauder himself would be responsible for it.
  19. And I'm actually surprised that the major players in Praetoria, the Praetors and so on, don't have a level 25 version in the AE since the majority of true Gold side play is 1 to 20 (Plus FW/NW of course and that's another issue too!) Having them would have made this a lot easier!
  20. We could take it that she has Washington fingered as a fall guy for a while and that the player's involvement was simply coincidental. She was always skating on thin ice doing what she was doing and would have needed SOME sort of escape route if she wanted to maintain her public status. Anyway, it is what it is. And Mission 4 and 5 were swapped so that the canon narrative worked better! Initially I thought a throwdown with TRN would be a good finale, but it didn't fit the timeline, or the initial peek behind the scenes. That Mission 4 fight is odd though. It's possible to just win it fast, but even a little raise in the difficulty and TRN is a monster.
  21. And there's one other PRACTICAL reason why Cleopatra is perfect for this once you accept her survival is canon. So what could be done was done.
  22. But: However: Anyway. On to plotting the final trilogy. Who knows, might even cross reference Spirals in it!
