What are you willing to give up for the upgrade? This powerset was already buffed substantially.

I just hope they fix the animation-cancelling macro exploit on Kheldians. Macros and binds should not provide such a serious advantage in gameplay.

The Fighting pool is so 2022.

The only real reasons to play Brutes are (1) to play the tankiest version of EA and Regen and (2) to play the scrappiest version of SS.

In some cases this would be a nerf (Nucs are primarily slotted in proc bombs). In some cases this would step on D-Sync’s toes (adding recharge to Golgi would devalue Reconstruction). And overall it’s just not needed. Most of these are already plenty useful. So.. nah

Dude. I enjoy playing the set. It looks cool as hell and is fun to play. It also has performance issues. These facts are not mutually exclusive. This is not hard to grasp.

After some 120-125 level 50’s, I’m definitely growing bored of widespread altoholism. Mainly just log into these lately: Beam/Time/Fire Blaster Cold/Psy/Psy Defender Nature/Ice/Soul Defender Fire/Fire/Fire Blaster Poison/Dark/Psy Defender Storm/Time/Fire Blaster

People getting really unnecessarily defensive over Storm Blast. Just because the set is objectively subpar as a blast set doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to enjoy it. I enjoy it just fine. Likewise, enjoying it, as I do, does not make it a good set. It has extremely poor AoE damage and the single target damage doesn’t shine enough to compensate. It tries to justify this with additional mitigation, but fails in doing so because the best blast set mitigation is dead mobs.

If Category Five was as fast as Blizzard I’d have no complaints.

Only real problem with the set is Category Five taking way too long to do what nukes need to do. Its single target damage is fine/good. Its AoE damage would be fine/good if it didn’t have the new worst nuke in the game.

So far I’m about veteran level 15ish on two characters, Storm/Time Blaster and Storm/Storm Corruptor. The single target chain is fun. The AoE damage is lacking, mainly due to the nuke hardly kicking in at all until every other blaster set would’ve already finished the fight or until the mobs have already run out of the patch. The nuke not functioning as a nuke is the only real problem with the set IMO.

I vote for the Dom.

Personally I already love the pool, minus Sleep Grenade. The rest is underrated or misunderstood.

Nothing unusual IMO. Here's the build. No formal chain, just prioritize Blaze/Blazing Bolt/Blind (Blind for +Dam proc) and Incinerate if needed to fill gaps. Phantom Army to open and Embrace of Fire and Sleet when up.

Yep, definitely Hybrid on. And yeah, Ill doms are pretty overpowered right now.
