The devs here have already stated they will not be taking anything from the other servers. I did not state that I don't really know know or understand the differences between HC and the other servers' underlying code. What I stated was that to the best of my knowledge the other servers are unstable because of the changes the devs there have done. I don't play on those other servers, so I can't know for sure how unstable they are, only what I hear from others that do play on those servers. I am not attempting to defend the devs or their abilities. I was pointing out that it does not matter what any dev from any other version of the game says, the devs here are only interested in what they can do as per what they themselves have stated. I am not "shitting" on this thread. I have not even commented on this thread other than to agree that some of us are also unwilling to farm the necessary Prismatic Aethers, where other players can find auras for their characters, how they can get Prismatic Aethers for themselves, argue against an overhaul of the costume creator itself for the sole purpose of re-aligning costume parts because from experience it has always broken existing costumes, point out that the devs here have already stated they won't take from the other games, and to point out that the example aura is not just limited to color customization. So please show me where I have been shitting on this thread so that I may learn and stop. (Edit: Now if said overhaul can be done without breaking everyone's costumes? Fine. I'm for it. It would be nice for things to be alphabetical rather than somewhat alphabetical.) I have not once in this entire thread argued against players getting to have multiple auras at once. Not a single time. So please show me where I did.

When I went on the test server, I admittedly grabbed the aura that I wanted, to test. My only option was change it's color. So if I'm missing something (as it's become obvious that I must be), I'd appreciate a bit more detail and or direction. Because the vague back and forth instead of flat out educating is becoming tiresome. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Then maybe say which aura that is so others don't have to go through all the new auras to show you what can be customized?

Kindly note that I didn't address the "dev here" part. I only addressed the "devs elsewhere" part. I did that for a reason. Because the devs here can do whatever they please, but dev statements from other versions of the game don't fly here. Just the one example aura has 12 aura options that we can further customize with our color selections. What are you looking for before you are willing to accept something as not just colors for customization?

That one aura has twelve options for it before you even get to choosing the colors. That is heavily customizable.

All good options. Didn't think of those first two. Thanks. I know some vanity pets are set to drop as recipes. Which (I believe but don't know since I don't have any) we then have to craft. However, I think it would be easier to add the temp power deletion code to our vanity pets (as a mass application so all vanity pets could simply be deleted if we don't want them regardless of how we got them) than it would be to go back and make new recipes for each of the vanity pets that don't already drop as recipes. (Edit: After all, people change their minds all the time. What about that person that crafted a vanity pet from the recipe, but later decides it doesn't fit their character after all?) -

I'm not seeing where Lt. Harris or Westin Phipps are violating the Code of Conduct. The "anything illegal in the real world" part doesn't apply to NPCs since they are the ones that are supposed to be providing us with the feel that we are operating in a criminal environment as villains/rogues/vigilantes or for us to stop as heroes/vigilantes/rogues. Lt. Harris isn't espousing any hate speech, he is espousing his anger at his perceived betrayal. He isn't engaging in any gambling, sexual/pornographic content, religious content, political content, addressing real world entities, or addressing anything I see as sensitive content. He is a bitter, delusional person lashing out until we put him down. So please show me where he violates the Code of Conduct. Westin Phipps is supposed to be slime. And he does it very well. However, even he doesn't violate the Code of Conduct in any way I can see. So if they are, please enlighten me on how. -

Can it be deleted? If not, then maybe asking for the ability to delete unwanted vanity pets would work just as well for you without having to go back and change the pets to recipes? Edit: Nope, it can't be deleted. Just tried with mine. So maybe the ability to delete vanity pets from our characters would be a better option seeing as how you already have an unwanted vanity pet on your character. -
The problem with "devs from elsewhere have" said is that the the devs here have already stated they won't be taking anything from the other servers so that argument won't be accepted and also because (to the best of my knowledge) version of the game being run by those other devs have gotten unstable from their simply throwing things into the game and kuldging them to work no matter how much it disrupts their own game. And I personally don't want that to happen here.

Then please don't take this the wrong way, but, you can download the source code, code it to be in Iron Man mode, and run the server yourself. "Ideally" from the perspective of anyone making a suggestion, that suggestion would be wildly popular and have lots of other players clamoring for it and then playing/using it when implemented. The world isn't ideal and Iron Man hasn't proven to be particularly popular even on other platforms.

A bad idea is a bad idea. This is not an idler/auto-play game. And I will always oppose requests to make it so. This conversation has been had before, so you aren't suggesting anything new. And in those threads it got quashed too. There is a reason why we are only allowed one power to be on auto-fire. And a quick search through the forums will show why. -

If the arrow allowed us to expand up or down and just up and then down, I wouldn't care about the OP anywhere near as much. (Edit: I would still point out that the author can already do what (s)he/they wants with the expanded trays, but I wouldn't care as much overall.) Edit: Below is a stack of 9 power trays where I am willing to bet the inspiration tray will never be moved to the center of the screen. Edit again And if the problem is that those trays aren't linked to the number keys? I would support being able to assign the expanded trays to take the primary trays key assignments as an option. -

Welcome to Hardcore/Iron Man game play. Where dying isn't necessarily your fault, but you're out of the game anyway.

Won't happen. Devs already said they won't go through the nightmare of setting that up again. Way I see it, is if Hardcore/Iron Man mode is added, leave the power sets alone. Player already say they skip the rezzes anyway, so nothing changes. And when that character is defeated, it immediately gets logged out of the game and deleted by the game.

You mean like my Willpower and Ninjitsu characters routinely have to do when they are placated despite having high defense? This is going to come across as harsh and quite likely rude, but I really don't care right now, so: boo hoo. (Edit: Willpower characters, the ones that have the indomitable will to stand against everything, you can't faze them because of how strong willed they are, can't resist taunts and placates, but sure, give that protection to characters that specialize in dodging instead.) And why not give it something else? Like maybe damage resistance for being a practiced brawler? -
Then it isn't Hardcore/Iron Man. The character shouldn't get to simply continue on after being defeated. That is not what Hard Core/Iron Man is about. The character gets removed from the game. No time to recover any salvage, inspirations, recipes, or inf'. Immediately dropped from the game and deleted from the server.

And my point is that you already can. Would I care if your suggestion got implemented? No, of course not. Do I see a point to it since we can already do what you are asking for? Also no. And if your display is changing on you, then you need to report it as a bug. Edit: Here is why I don't view it as a quality of life thing. For you, being able to expand up to 10 trays despite the game only having 9 trays possible for filling with anything without having to click that + to access the expanded trays despite it being added specifically so us players could get those extra trays would be a good thing because you then won't have to re-arrange your trays. However, I routinely open and close my default power trays for several of my characters. And I always open and then close those trays after a respec to find and re-place my powers. Right now, when I click to expand to the current max 3 trays, I can collapse those trays back down when I get to 3 trays after I finish my re-arranging and leave all my power trays spread out on the sides of my screen. However, with 10 trays, now I have to expand to 10 even if I only need a few trays, do my sorting and re-arranging, and then collapse progressively back down to 1 tray instead of just getting to 3 trays, doing my work, and then collapsing back down to 1 tray. Or I have to add more expanded trays, do my sorting and re-arranging, and then delete the expanded trays. Or add the expanded trays, leave them there empty or with powers I cycle into my power trays for specific content where I won't be clicking them cluttering my screen and reducing what I can see, just so I won't have to go through 10 trays before I can collapse the default tray window. Your quality of life request is added work on me for my characters just so you don't have to do added work on your characters. And yes, I re-arrange my powers in my trays fairly regularly depending on what I am doing in the game. So yes, I very much prefer the current set up. -

You're right. I was thinking AR. Sorry. No it doesn't. The Wolf Spiders and player Wolf Spiders not overlapping undercuts my point, but not the Advanced Mode Crab Spider Webmasters getting Omega Maneuver and the Advanced Mode Fortunata Mistresses getting Link Minds. All it shows is that NPC power availability is dependent upon content assigned, with the better/best powers not being available for most content but being available for more difficult content. Which the Wolf Spider Huntsmen and Arbiters could also get with Full Auto for more difficult content. Except that they apparently don't overlap player Wolf Spiders with the Arbiters using Bane Spider Executioner builds for high levels and only low level Arbiters using Wolf Spider Huntsmen builds. Except that was not what I said, nor was it what I meant. I firmly believe that granting SR resistance to placates and taunts does not fit the theme. That more falls under Willpower. So kindly don't try to twist my argument. -

The expanded power trays are set up so that we can set them up however we like. If you would like for it be stacked like that? You can already do so as you are showing. If you don't like the arrangement you have but want them stacked like that? Then place your expanded power trays at the bottom and the default power trays on top. We can arrange our UI however we want. -
