  1. Ooh! Ooh! I think I have a valid road map that can be strictly adhered to! Current point: Game is active and playable on public servers. Future point: Game is active and playable on public servers. Road map done! *ducks and hides from impending stoning* 😁😄
  2. Or the Praetorian mission where the means you use to disable the primary bomb changes depending on your origin? Despite the fact I think some of those options are just plain silly, I do like that aspect of the mission. You're magic origin? You can disable the bomb the normal way or have the power (which is an elemental to you) just go home. You're tech origin? You know what wire to cut to render the bomb harmless, or you can disable it the normal way. I would like to see more content like that, and it would be easier to implement than something more expansive than whether or not you trigger an ambush for not being the correct origin to avoid it or say... having a follow up mission that is dependent on your origin and what you did in the 1st mission... not that I've given such a thing any thought... really....
  3. Better question: how to encourage it without penalizing players that prefer to not be in SGs? I personally don't see the point of encouraging more active super groups because those that want active super groups will run them that way. I believe we should let the SGs continue to run the way they prefer, active or passive as they see fit. However, as long as the encouragement isn't in the form of SG only available content/rewards, I probably won't have a problem with encouraging SGs to be more active. How do you encourage SGs to be active without exclusive content/rewards? I have no clue. (Edit: I mean they already have the benefit of shared resources, so what more can be done without it being some form of penalty for those that prefer a more passive approach or to not be in a SG?)
  4. If you can get in your base, double check your base portal (the entrance). See if it is placed in a manner or location that is causing the game fits such as being recessed into an object or wall/floor. (Just to make sure. Though usually that just makes you log into the base stuck and unable to move.)
  5. No it isn't. All pets and henchmen have the movement issue. It is most noticeable with NPC escortees, but you also see Controller, Dominator, and Crab Spider pets lagging behind all the time too. (Edit: As well as PPP pets and Lore pets.) (Edit again: Is it a bigger weakness for MMs? Yes, but it isn't unique.) And MMs also already have a "teleport to me" power, it is just unreliable. It needs that to be fixed so that it occurs at a known distance at all times.
  6. I don't think the Talos Island map has been changed? So those would have always been there?
  7. This part I wholeheartedly agree with. At the very least it would (hopefully) stop the complaints from some SS character players that their character doesn't rage and so they want a new power set that is identical to SS including the Rage power, except with a different name for Rage.
  8. In fact i believe your level 1 can BE the sg creator. The level 10 requirement went the way of the dodo at some point Yes, 2 of the SGs I made to make bases were founded by level 1 characters I made to make the SGs. You just have to make it to the Registrar's desk, which is dangerous red side. (Edit: And to be extra sure, I just threw together a random character and checked. Yes, there is no level requirement to make a SG.)
  9. The last time I was on a MoKeyes, which I admit was a very, very, very long time ago (edit: back on Live), the league leader had 4 with incan' and they were assigned positions in a rotation. And when it was time, the target player would just incan' everyone to them. That said, I'm not opposed to the OP, though I would recommend the distances be listed as max target location distance rather than max distance to differentiate between how far away you can place the reticle as opposed to the teleport distance.
  10. Yeah, pretty sure that is still the case. You can only have up to 18 storage items in your base (though I'd swear that limit was higher back on Live, just with a lower per room limit), but every room has its maximum number of objects you can put in it and the storage items are still selectable objects for the room. Edit: Oh, I see what you are saying. The items in the storage containers. No, I don't think those counted to the room/base limits for objects, but yeah, pretty sure SG bases have/had a limit on those for other reasons/problems. (Edit again: I'd almost bet that the stored items in the base had their own assigned memory to track them, and that still takes up server space. I don't actually know though.)
  11. I think the END issue they are talking about is how much END those powers cost relative to each other. However, all the ones I checked have the same END cost: 0.569/s. And that was across Athletic Run, Beast Run, Cheetah Travel, Coyote Travel, Flying Carpet, Jump Pack, Ninja Run, Panther Travel, Rocket Board, Steam Jump, and Void Skiff. (https://cod.uberguy.net/html/powerset.html?pset=prestige.prestige_travel) (Edit: And if it isn't, and it is about being able to maintain their END pool in combat with the temp travels on, I agree with you. Just turn them off when not needed.)
  12. It's not and never was a question about power concepts. Even the sneakiest character can already show off their costume whenever they want.
  13. The fix went live on 3/19, but didn't actually fix the issue. I'm not seeing any mention of it on the linked update. Edit: Never mind. Found it.
  14. That doesn't work for everyone. For instance, when I did it, through Ouroboros thankfully because that character had already done the arc so I was able to just abandon it, I targeted the portal before closing to attack as well. And my not fully enhanced yet level 50 non-incarnate character needed 4 hits to destroy the portal. My character died attacking the portal due to the plethora of bosses the portal spawned. I went back into the mission and finished off the portal, and died doing so again. Went back into the mission and just flew past the mobs from the 1st portal and found the 2nd portal was just as full of already spawned enemies as the 1st portal, and abandoned the mission. (Edit: And as I stated earlier in the thread, I was at -1/x1. It was listed as -1/x0 because that character never changed the team size setting, but the mission was tried at -1/x1. I can't lower the difficulty more than that.) (Edit again: Though since the thread has the internally fixed flag, hopefully next time I come across this mission, it will be completable.)
  15. As long as the mobs the portals spawn are worth exactly 0 XP and inf', I don't have any problems with it. (Edit: At least I can tell an AE arc/mission where to stick it if it cannot be completed solo and drop it without it staying in my contacts and missions lists.)
  16. Not to mention the added cost of restoring what you already had to make a different change adds up too.
  17. Yes. I created an alternate account and tried sending inf' to my 1st character there, but the global wasn't what I thought. (I hadn't changed it yet.) So I went to the alternate account and corrected the global, and the e-mail was still gone forever. Send to something non-existent, watch the sent disappear.
  18. Babbage does spawn in Boomtown regardless of whether he is spawned by a Synapse or not. And he does have set spawn points. He just moves around. Isn't that a toned down, weaker version of Jurassik? I could have sworn it wasn't a full-fledged GM in that mission. (Edit: Just like Adamastor in that one instanced mission is also not a GM but is a weaker, toned version.)
  19. I know this part. The part my question was aimed at is combining what are 2 different powers into 1 for Stalkers. If people want to have Caltrops replaced with the +END power, then they can make that suggestion. I will of course oppose that on the grounds that they are taking away a power that others use, but I am not one of them, so at least my opposition won't be as dogged as normal. That is a matter of opinion, though I do admit that Scrappers with their added on version of Ninjitsu did get a better version. (Edit: My MA/Nin Stalker at level 50 with no incarnate stuff even started was clearing BAF spawns alone twice as fast as the rest of the team I left behind that were working together, and at much less risk back on Live. [Edit again: And they had incarnates with them. And I still solo cleared 4 of the crates before the team caught up to me.] Though I have yet to get that same character back to 50 here on HC.)
  20. Yeah, like I said in my 2nd post, after we finished clearing the Safeguard and exited the map, my snipe resumed working correctly. I don't get it other than it is inconsistent.
  21. We're just going to go in circles. I'll just say I agree to disagree and bow out.
  22. Sure, but when they sneak, they are sticking to the shadows, they are crouching behind obstacles, and they are not walking down wide, empty hallways with nowhere to hide under the watchful eyes of more than a dozen foes or walking up to said foes and making faces at them in their face. (Edit: And they still aren't showing off their costumes. They are still trying to avoid being seen. So if their allies don't know where they are, they won't be able to look at their costumes and go "Hey, is that a new buckle? Nice!".) Whereas we don't have 1st person shooter/RPG stealth mechanics so we can just walk down those nice wide, empty hallways full of enemies and have nice little chats with each other without whispering while standing directly in front of our enemies and emoting making faces or whatever at them without them ever seeing our not invisible keisters. Edit again: And for that matter, as @Greycat asked, what will tell the rest of your team that you are indeed hidden and sneaking so they don't just follow after you and cause you to have to fight everything anyway?
  23. And if you use the LFG tool and your connection goes flaky, boot? That is still a massive problem. You are still electing to kick people not because they decide they don't have time or because they are causing problems, but because something else is interfering with their ability to stay online. Edit: For that matter, does the game even differentiate between how players joined a team? Like it knows this person on the team joined because (s)he/they used the LFG tool, this one joined because (s)he/they announced "LFG" on Broadcast, this one joined by sending the team leader a tell and getting invited, this one joined because (s)he/they were standing near the team leader at the rally point, and this one joined because (s)he/they are friends with the team leader and they were planning on doing this TF/SF together in the first place?
  24. Why should Stalkers get a heal + toxic resist + endurance power while Scrappers only get the heal + toxic resist? Yes, the Stalker set loses a power to get Hide, but they also get Hide.
