Load of crap. IO sets addressed every single thing you mentioned here. Also, assuming there was a decent population on your server, teams are not difficult to find. If server population was an issue, Freedom was the answer. Or start a team yourself. ED never went away, it never will, and the game is absolutely better for it. Make a tank, teams will take you. Or a Scrapper, or Blaster, or Dominator, or Stalker, or anything. Doesn't matter. ED was the best thing to ever happen to City of Heroes. ED was trash IO sets are good Both are true Without ED there would be no capacity for power augmentation and variation which came with Inventions, it was a correct choice in a long term plan. You lack imagination, Jack & NCsoft could have made IO's could exist within the ED framework while SO's remain within the Pre-ED framework & as Redlynne pointed out ED predeated IOs by 2 years. AMEN

ED(& DR) certainly drove me away it took a free trial of City of Villains specifically to play Masterminds that brought me back. Personally I would love to see ED removed from SO only builds. IOs are balanced around ED so it should remain in place there.

Can we get rid of the sound of that spine damage aura? It seems every where i go there are 1 or 2 spine/fire brutes with that awful aura going off, it was never this bad on live because you could not make Spines on a brute.

I'm partial to Brutes but I think the answer ultimately depends on the power sets in question. If Shield always go Scrapper if it's a resistance based protective set that can take you to the 90%resist cap of any damage type always go brute, if it has a damage aura always go brute. If MA always go Brute. What if you want an MA/Shield? Can i suggest StJ instead? If so go Scrapper.

No problem, you confirmed something i already thought was true regarding IOs/Recipes & how they're handled on the market

i'm noticing Panacea IOs comes in two flavors the classic crafted version & one that reminds me of what they look like when you bought them on the paragon store back in i23, the main difference was PPM vs traditional procs but i24 made everything PPM. My question now is, is there a difference? Are we back to i23 rules where you can slot both traditional proc IOs & PPMs or is everything still PPM?

I'm not a programmer but I don't see why everything needs to be re-translated, wouldn't people just need their own localized files from before the shutdown & for score to support such people?

let us be the judge of that, what was the name? A Gravity/Storm Controller named 'Heavy Rain'. I like the name a lot, and it works with the character concept. It's completely inoffensive as far as I can tell. Maybe it duplicates something the GMs have planned or someone more connected than me liked the name and got it taken away. Either way, or if there's some other reason, I'd like to know. like some one else said it is the name of a game, but I can't see that having impact here, did you transfer to another server? If not put in a support ticket

I'm pretty sure villains also get access to the ancillary pools once you meet the level requirements as I certainly recall having the Fire APP on my Stalker & Brute who were on villain side.

As far as I'm concerned MA is only good for layering +7.5 def on a brute or tank otherwise go Street Justice. Also shield's dmg buffs & attacks are better for scrapper's dmg mods & base than a brute so all /shield should probably be scrappers imo.

Both powers seem incredibly useful for surviving high end content I know +def buffs layer better with resistance than -dmg debuffs but shadow meld isn't available for the whole fight & Darkest Night offers -tohit. Depending on the answer I may reroll.

Titan Weapon feels very heavy it has 3 AOEs and you get the first 2 early in the set you can add Fiery Aura for up to 3 AOEs(1 for end recovery)

KSing always seemed a strange thing to be mad about, early on I was in over my head against some higher level mob and I got bailed out by another player who started attacking that mob, but as I continued attacking said mob this player sends me a tell complaining about kill stealing, in my mind this was a inpromptu team up against a badie.

If you can't slot for maximum effectiveness doesn't it just mean that you have to slot dumber not smarter? In a post IO builds world I can live with ED, & DR but I'd love to see ED turned off for SO only & below builds.

Ohh that could be neat. What other archetypes can we think up? I've been wanting an IDF Epic AT &/or EPP/PPP ever since I saw one of their soldiers had a "macross missile massacre" type power. Now that I think of it dominator assault powerset could be just added to sentinel or melee ATs it doesn't need it's own AT.

Not to derail but I would love a dominator assault with defense sets archetype
