  1. sorcery power pool has a "break free" power jumping power power has a mez protection power a few epic pools have mez protections plenty of options to choose from honestly. My grav/storm controller rarely has problems with his high defense and mez protection. might just be that you need to sacrifice some DPS for some mez resists.
  2. Old accounts being brought back is a fools errand. lt would waste developer time from actual in game work for a handful of peoples convenience. would much rather them deal with quality of life updates
  3. Didn't want to flood forum with another Grav/Storm topic. Looking for some opinions on my respect I'm planning. 4. Great work going through those steps, at this point it looks like a coding/game mechanic that we as player can't detect. Hopefully someone can shed light to it though as its definitely worth investigation
  5. Between power sets, pool power, and epic pools I don't see the need to clone movesets just to offer you different versions of the same set. It's programming bloat that would lead to a headaches. if anything they could just add AT themed power pools( shadow control) give new options for the user.
  6. the accolade shouldn't hinder any of your defensive abilities, to be safe could you post build. So we can try to diagnose the problem. I'd also suggest checking your mission settings, maybe you changed the EB's to Av's or increased the difficulty settings. also make sure that you didn't lost a temporary power that you've been using such as defensive boost.
  7. wondering if the procs for both are set to check on activation of the power and thus aren't being added to damage correctly for them.
  8. just out of curiosity do you have the absorb IO in your build. Cause I had this happen a few times recently and I'm wondering if when it procs, it enables mobs to see you briefly. Seeing if it was just coincidental for me.
  9. you can also get discounted tailor tickets from logging off ( I believe at least, haven't done it in awhile) at level 50 though 4million is the equivalent of a few missions ran though, so I don't feel its price is too extreme
  10. building in mids has two possible outcomes. You min max to try to perfect a build, it's expensive and its tedious. OR you get a hero to be more enjoyable and functional. This is cheaper and will get you through anything in game. it's your decision which you are trying to do. The above posters have given great advice already and there's always people that will help if needed. Above all remember if your team feels you are dead weight, that's their problem as this game realistically isn't tough enough to worry about carrying a teammate.
  11. the best part of the mez protection is that it works as a free break free. Especially when combo'd with a panic button power. Has saved my life quite a few times.
  12. for controller, do earth/storm. wanna lock em in place and hold entire mobs? Done earth conttol wanna knock the all over the place and send em flying? Storm (especially if you slot powers for KB) wanna see millions of ticks of damage scrolling, lock em down then summon storm chaos on top of them!
  13. just remember that one of the highest grossing movies of all time (Avatar) had floating mountains and was "based in science" and no one batted an eye at it. we are talking about super heroes here aren't we? if my controller can have softcap defense and 75% resists, yet a tanker is punished for using his powers for an additional 15% resists.... Seems pretty silly to me. @seraphimkensai, I like that option best honestly.
