I figured it was the ultimate form of "no", not going to talk about, I don't want to, etc. And I took nothing from it other than that. Some people might (obviously), but, sometimes not hearing the reasoning behind it is better.

Meh...like most things its either like it or hate it. I tried a bots/emp...sorta boring constant healing. Thugs/Kin was fun but the constant respawn thugs sucked. Probably be better on a semi or pet less MM.

Kin/Regen broot...ugh why?! Why?!? Ninjas/Storm...ninjas are so sucktastic.. PsiMelee/Nrg broot...I so wanted to like this build... Sentinel anything I just get why ppl like this AT. Now on the plus side, I have a Merc/Traps MM and he us really good in RWZ stuff. So +1 for Mercs.

Actually, thanks to you it got derailed. My post was on point on why its a bad idea, ie; power creep, imbalance, taking away a mechanic of a useful power. It doesn't matter the presentation just the reasoning. I had you on block for a reason, now I remember why, goodbye. Now back to our regularly scheduled thread.

So how is that griefing? Its a mechanic of the game, sort of like people going into a pvp zone and them saying they were griefed? Or like my post, you think its all anger, because, thats how you interpret it. The same could be said of someone firing off Dimensional shift during a zone event or using a kb power to herd. So we should Null it? But, in truth. Its sarcasm mixed with anger that people continue to want to make things easier. My post was a "if we are going to do it to this, then why not to all the others". The conclusion. The pain in this ass are people, this continual bitchfest about not liking stuff because it doesn't cater to them or its an inconvenience. Holy sh!t folks welcome its a game.

Good grief, would everyone just like the enemies to all run up to you to make it easier? I don't like the following, can Null the Gull wipe my ass too? Dimensional Shift and powers like it, why should I have to put up with this. Null it! Aggro, I don't like it on my ranged toons, can't I just shut aggro off??? Null it! Fold Space/TP foe/Wormhole if I'm teaming and someone uses it I have to chase the enemies to a new location. Null it! FF, Sonic resonance, repel, etc just Null all of them for the obvious KB. Super Strength Rage, there's a crash its not a T9. Why is there a crash?? Can I just get Null to disable it? Heals/Buffs from teammates who said they could do this!? Null it! Then how does this affect teaming? Say a person (like me) uses it to herd baddies in nice little piles, teammate 1 doesn't like it and demands I Null it, I tell him to get bent, lrn2ply, and then hilarity ensues. The same can be said of everything else I listed. How much easier does everyone want everything? The devs already gave everyone the option with a proc to change it. Little by little keep chipping away. There's already enough give on ALOT of things. You know what fvck it, you want to do it that's fine. Disable everything. Null it all. Make it so easy to play thats it boring.

On my pvp builds, one for pve and the other pvp.

Big deal I went through 300+ of them trying to get the Hecatomb proc. Yeah its shit.

I want the the BP monsters to look like some Lovecraftian horrors. Storm elemental colors are rather garish..

And there is your answer blue, use the controls in the set to help corral the mobs. Saying it takes away from the melee toons is like saying why take anything that causes damage because its taking away from all the damage dealers. You're right on the edge of the precipice about to have an epiphany on how to utilize all the tools at your disposal.

I had with Electric/ and Necro. Fire would be good so much stuff to stack.

I have it on troller and MM, and boy is it a killer. As a Troller locking down a mob and releasing holy hell upon them is sssooo satisfying. On MMs the extra mitigation coupled with damage and the pets wrecking everything in sight. You should try it GP.

Having a really really bad day in the ole Healthcare industry and I'm afraid it's spilling out into the forums...not an excuse but an explanation.

Thats not a positive change, its nerfing an effect of a power and disrupting its balance.

No and no. I didn't know it was required that anyone had to explain themselves if they disagreed with something. But, I'll be friendly now that I have time to respond. The game is built upon a series of checks and balances, removing a component of said powers removes the balance of that power. To put it simply people aren't just going to stand there while a tornado is racing towards them or stand in a lightning storm. No they are going to run, hence the fear component. Mind you it doesn't affect every enemy. That being said typically I put Storm with a controller set to lock enemies in place and then unleash hell on them. Hence no running away. The game is easy enough, the continued wishing for things to be easier is an annoyance. Build your toon to take these things into consideration, instead of nerfing something. Hence the thumbs down.

How does that affect iTrials? I don't run them so no experience on this. Even then I don't see a significant investment of any of this ever being implemented so its moot.

I'm half wondering if it isn't already in the pipeline with the new IO slow/dmg set from Ice Mistral being an example.

There would have to be significant resources put into it and then even more to have these powers used in new trials so they can be utilized. Full maxed out Incarnate doing an ITF, I shudder at how OP that would be. Master of TFs I suspect would be way easier.
