  2. I think a Client side mod for stealth powers is fine but they could also just add a "minimal fx" to these things and it would be fine.
  3. I love all of these. I like the temp powers for the fun of them. I would like to see more events like this in every zone. But I also want to see them scale with your level. My favorite is the Zig. But yes I'd rather be able to go INTO the Zig for the event
  4. I dropped a hearty build over here last weekend.
  5. Here is a DP/Ninja/Electric I pulled together. Seems like it will have a stronger hold in the epic, and higher def caps even still. I left infiltration because you'd lose the LotG if you took Super Speed. This is a leveling build as far as power picks and when you take them. I may give it a whirl myself.
  6. YMMV, but the criteria I stuck to when building this was first off, he's a Natural so no Super Speed here, and I felt Hasten unneccesary. The breakfree power also adds a temporary run speed boost. The 20% damage while stealthed means your first shot gets an extra boost. It's a really tight build trying to fit in some of everything. I found the Epic sword attacks I took to be worth it. Positional defenses are overcapped, and Kujin-Retsu = invincibility. I would not change a thing in this build, myself obviously. But if you're going to go mucking with attack slotting leave stunning shot alone, it's the best single target in the set, and occasionally stuns. Also, in-game, I've literally +5 boosted anything that doesn't have recharge that will screw up proc chances. You'd be surprised how much you can squeeze out with end savings and defense numbers that way. What you can't see here is all the temp powers I piled on. Basically anything that makes sense for a ninja to have... stun grenades, grenades, golden wrench (what?)...I try to be the most useful team player possible. This is also my badger.   7. That's nice and all but if I wanted what you propose, I'd just build something as close to it as possible using...any of like 4-6 of the other ATs. I guess I'm asking you why not build a Stalker and retrofit it to your purposes. Higher burst damage than a Scrapper. Best Burst Damage in the game, melee wise. They all get epic ranged shots to pick from. Alternately a ?/Martial blaster would be interesting to theory craft, and you could pick the two attacks you think fit the idea. My dream is to have a new AT similar to Tsoo Ink Men. Melee, with Dominator or Corruptor performing secondaries. But it will never happen because people already complain about Sents and what I'm thinking would be an inverse of a Sent. And now I'm going to hit mids and see what it would take to build your idea with what's available in game.
  8. Water/Fire is one that feels fun, but I haven't gotten a good build together for Mister Sauna. Fire/Bio is crazy solid. Doesn't go down easy and really contributes to a team's damage. Archery/ninja/ninja is a Swiss Army knife of a build. Can play any role on a team. Seriously.
  9. You do realize you can build a blapper that functions like this, or a stalker without hide and placate?
  10. Pistols with Poison is very good, here's why. Hold Proc Roulette, Stack a few chances for hold throughout the build. Add the Soul Epic pool for the Soul Hold, and stack a 3 set of Lockdown somewhere to make sure when the hold procs fire it's very worth it. Add Cryo Judgement with the chance to Hold for more silliness. I wouldn't slot Suppressive fire heavy on the hold stuff though, you want to fill that attack with like 3 damage procs. Power Boost from the Soul Epic Pool Force Feedback on Hail of Bullets and Bullet Rain, maybe even in Empty Clips. It adds up
  11. Without needing maths, I ask myself two questions. Will the Scourge mechanic rock on this build? Will the secondary be the main focus of the build? Rarely do both of those questions answer "yes" for the same character. When they are both yes, I'll play Corruptor. An example I'll throw out there is a Rad/Poison Corr. It's a rare case where the scourge rocks, even though the debuffs from both sets are kinda the point. Contrast that with my Dual Pistols/Poison, who barely has time to shoot at anything on a team, because applying the poisons is way more important.
  12. When hovering over the enh in the picker in mids, hit your +/- keys to boost. I am gonna check these builds out. My main is an Archery/Ninja and he is by far one of my most optimized builds. I find Archery and Dual Pistols to be like cousins as far as how their sets are designed. I also have a DP/SR, and it could be good to mash those two halves together and see what happens.

  14. My attacks don't miss much just they're very slow. I have at least 1 acc, 2 damage in everything, as well as some procs. I need to set up the fitness pool powers yes.
  15. Hit 41 with Mini Knees today, and totally revamped my build. I read somewhere that SS didn't need Acc slotted in powers and it started from there. My current build has: 5 lotg Rech procs Hasten 2 slotted 5 FF + Rech procs Fighting pool - including Cross Punch. Damage procs to cover Rage crash How it plays? Like a wind up toy. You attack to fuel the recharge so you can click the end clicky, so that you can keep hitting to fuel the recharge, so you can... Ad infinitum. Double Rage = 345% damage, before popping reds. Easily in the 450% bonus while using insps. Munch purples for added defense. Once you get rolling, it's about keeping it rolling. I often jump into the next mob and either foot stomp.. or use Might Leap's stomp, then the End power and heal power. How's everyone else's going?

  18. So I have recently fallen in love with my stone tanks. I have a stone/rad, and a stone/MA. What I do love is I'm virtually unkillable. What don't like is even with two damage auras and an AOE, the /rad is sloooow to kill a mob, and if I go faster I run out of end before the mob does anyway. Granted I'm 41 but still. I was street hunting in creys folly and it took me an hour or more like 2 to street hunt a level. Is there a way to speed that up? Just munch reds? Boosters?

  20. As much as I've complained on this thread, this right here. I used to see a particular player on a particular server always have all the buffs, all the time. I challenged them to drop the buffs and they refused. I also challenged them to do the same and hit the arena and of course they refused. It annoyed me because everyone called this person a 'great player' when it was obvious they were just always buffed to the gills. 😂 This theorycrafting isn't gonna turn into a main, but right now I'm in a "stuns are fun" phase. Maybe if I can make it enjoyable, I'll then look at a sturdier build 2.

  22. JUST found this thread. Thanks to a vid in this thread I found my old SG name - it was United Heroes Brigade. My mains were Bazooka Tooth (Ar/em blaster), Pinball Wizard (Kin/Energy defender), and Texas BBQ (Fire/Fire tanker) - Lots of fond memories of our group running around in the offcial SG costume and setting great examples for other players of good teamwork. I miss this group and if it's still running I will rejoin.
  23. I mained a Blaster named Bazooka Tooth, a Defender named Pinball Wizard, and a Tanker named Texas BBQ on Champion. For the life of me I cannot remember my old SG's name or any of the members, but we were a big active group with distinct uniforms. Red and white tights, with the same shoulders, belts, boots and gloves, if I recall correctly. If any of this rings a bell, please chime in. I'm certain someone else has to be here.
  24. Those changes just made my build worse. Mids says my positionals are capped, but it's just not so in game. Not sure why. Invoke Panic still allows for the mob to fire an attack before kicking in. Probably cause it's a lower level mag? Anyway it sucks out loud. Oppressive Gloom + Invoke Panic gives me a few seconds to do something before the mob snaps out of it. But not really enough. I can toss 2/3 of Poison trap/Caltrops/Acid Mortar before I get hammered again. Dark consumption needs WAY more recharge, or I need to do more end related stuff. It's bad enough that even with hasten it recharges in about half the time I need it. That said, I'm adding Maneuvers and Misdirection back in, and losing the Provoke Pool entirely. I will likely slot Maneuvers, Combat Jumping, Stealth and Dark EMbrace for more Defense. My attack chain was seamless before I made changes and that's without Hasten, so hmm. I'm not sure I need it really? I can't get a read on my recharge once I've slotted Force Feedback in mids, so I've no way to tell what my recharge really is. Overall, I guess you have to play this build to grok it, because the original build felt much stronger testing in Moth Cemetery than this version did.
  25. No one here has mentioned Whirlwind? Wow. Totally a flash thing. Whirlwind + Oppressive Gloom equals "erry body in da club gettin dizzy"
