This is why I follow this procedure: Build in Mids Create test character on Brainstorm Auto level and finish the build there Go to DA Moth Cemetery and beat up the big Banished Pantheon bosses. Tweak build as needed. Add accolades Test more Add incarnates By then I know if I'm going to enjoy the final build. If I need to, I'll also run ouro missions to try out the teens, 20s, 30s etc.

Similarly, I have a Street Justice/Energy Armor Stalker I'm playing and slotting Disrupt the same way as I've slotted Oppressive Gloom. It's fun because it's suppressed while hidden, so you get your first strike in, then everyone is stumbling around. My test server build does the same thing. It definitely buys you time while solo.

I don't play heavy end-game, incarnate level stuff TOO often, but I hear you. A Speed Aeon sounds like a nightmare to me. But I hate speed runs in general. I had a Danny Devito "Always Sunny" Thugs MM called 'Gunther's Guns' but I never played it and ended up deleting it. 🤣

You miss my point, as I'm only talking about the build, not recreating the character concept. In my head I think it would be neat to make a build close to an AV and then try to defeat said AV.

I already have a DP/Traps Corr. And a Fore/Traps blaster - best traps pairing ever. AR/Nature/Elec sounds like a lot of fun.

I main an AR/EM blaster, since Live. I know the AR set is generally not a favorite but...I like it for cones, cones, cones. What do you think the best secondary and Epic for an AR Corr might be? Mostly maximizing damage, adding range and range defense... Rad? Dark? Storm? Ice? Something else?

It might be synergy, because I find my DP/Traps/Dark Corr to be stun...errr fun, yeah that's it.

So a fun mids exercise I did last night. Look up the powers for a big baddie in game. Think about what Archetype they might be, given those powers. Pop open mids and try to build a decent clone using all the same powers. Anyone else done this? Some you cannot get close to the correct power picks on any AT, but that's where this gets creative. Scirocco is an Elec/Storm/fire Corruptor, disappointing that if you want his sword moves, you have to skip Mu Mastery. Ghost Widow is difficult, but Dark/Dark/Soul Corruptor will get you close. Mako is a Claws/SR/Leviathan Stalker. Black Scorpion is a Super Strength/Invulnerability/Mace build. Etc.

My building and respeccing characters is like half the game. I have all my alts in one personal sg, and the sg ranks denote whether I'm working them up, if the build is finished and earning loot for other alts, if I've parked it, or parked and stripped it down like a luxury car left in a bad neighborhood. Often when I discover a new "main" from any AT that I want to build, the other alts in the same AT get looked over and stripped. We ain't rich out here.

What does changing origin get you, game wise? I thought origin was a largely flavor thing and had no advantages in game.

Water spout and AOE crit in KM is like PB&J. I use it on my KM/Bio/Lev stalker. Not sure about negative def though.

Ninjas/Time MM with the patron pool Power Boost (I forget which pool it is) - the first time I solo'd Babbage in Boomtown, I kinda freaked out, cause I haven't done it on any other character. -
I don't have my build handy, but I love my Necro/Nature. It feels almost unfair to mobs. I slotted Lich for control though. Maybe similar to how you'd 4 slot Dark Servant. A defense bonus I think? Which Necro pet should get the chance for build up proc?

So I have an idea, and I'm working up the character for it. But I want to get the community take on it before I go all in on incarnates and stuff. He's a DP/traps/dark corr. With Oppressive Gloom, Suppressive Fire and Stun grenades, I have access to stacking stuns. Dark Embrace can also take a disorient end mod proc. I also took stealth pool and Misdirection, which has a placate ability plus a -def res. And I took provoke because taunting a mob into your minefield is fun. From a trapper perspective, a stunned mob is a playground for trip mines, poison trap, and caltrops. If I grab the right Incarnate powers, how hard can I stack stuns? I have a 3x stun bonus from Stupify*4 in three powers. Is this a viable approach? Where I realized it would play well was during zombie event and Katie Hannon. I'd drop device stuff while I waited for the next spawn to pop. I'll post the build after some advice here.

Easiest cruise to 50 that I had on a blaster was fire/martial. My main is an AR/energy, and I don't recommend that for someone who wants to have a good time leveling.

Decided to make a very short dude, named him Mini Knees. Here's the build I'm working on... and yeah I copped your build and modified it @Erratic1. So far, I'm 32, got double rage already. Barely notice the crash unless I monitor my damage. Phase shift allows me to wait for Energy Drain and Energize to catch up if they're still on cooldown. the KB is ridiculous already too. I have a few procs in the healing, def, and lotg categories, but yeah, not bad for like 40milli. ss-ea-2 - Brute (Super Strength).mxd

You're already energy aura, why not go all in on concealment pool and add Phase Shift for during the Rage crash? 🤣

I respecced my thugs/forcefield into an active melee toon with the full fighting pool for this reason.
