  1. Hello from Thailand! Kinetic Melee on a Stalker is the best AT for that set. I love the idea of a Muay Thai fighter (I think super reflexes works for concept...cause Lerdsila!) I'd recommend trying out MA/SR, KM/SR, maybe even Street Justice/SR for that theme.
  2. That's my original character from live. It's amazingly OP, and thank hells they didn't nix Ignite. Ignite on flyers is hilarious and fun too
  3. You're being way too hard on Siesmic. I like Storm Blast too, but Siesmic is its own wonderful thing. I'm sure people are going to moan about people refusing to slot Sudden Acceleration in Jet Stream. Jet stream is like Gale but smarter (and yes I skipped Gust, cause I'm not ridiculous)
  4. I don't think that's actually possible to do.
  5. I can tell you from a blapper perspective it's going well. My main damage dealers so far are hailstones and the snipe. Storm Cell is ridiculously easy to perma, too. I don't know about IOs yet really. But Jet Stream is great positional mitigation. Seems when they're getting pushed back they don't get a chance to hit very hard. A team with several Storm Blast characters is gonna mitigate most threats easily. On Beta I tried a pure storm corruptor, and Freezing Rain + Storm Cell is great. Everything crawls.
  6. So I haven't seen anyone mention storm blast in this sub forum since it rolled out, so I'll start. I am working up a Storm/Electric Manip blapper. So far I'm level 17 but it's been a fun ride. It's end hoggy and I started slotting stuff towards that with a performance shifter proc. I assume Electric Melee has tools for that later on. I'm also putting in FF+Rech in the slowest melee power, which helps things recharge faster. So far I have only taken Hasten and Super Speed for Pools. I feel like Storm Cell really does soften up a mob. I joined a 50+ team in PI and surprisingly it even helped with +4 Carnies. The Snipe hits hard. This build gets build up, intensify, and storm cell. That's alot of damage and tohit buffage. Anyone with Electric Melee build tricks? I know we are all anxiously awaiting the Mids update for Storm Blast, but surely someone is a blap expert with Electric?
  7. Just curious give an example of how you play this? I thought my ideas were far off the map.... 🙂
  8. I'll dig up my build for Bury N Hide, my werewolf/Mr Hyde themed Sav/Shield stalker..may not be the best build, but it works great for me. Here are two builds. The first is as leveled 1-50 and beyond. The second is a 'BAMF Melee' build that makes use of Teleport and fold space. It's definitely an 'in progress and unfinished build, but it can give you some ideas. Neither is optimized for positional defenses, but have high resistance. I have some work to do to adjust, but the first build plays well. Bury N Hyde - Stalker (Savage Melee).mxdBury N Hyde - BAMF respec - Stalker (Savage Melee).mxd
  9. I'd love a whole team with Rez power tactics, vengeance et al. Would be a fun group.
  10. The little ringy thing around the power icons show up when you get the extra quakey quakes. Also one power actually changes it's icon completely. If only there was a sound so bat ears could hear when the oven goes ding.... The effects are noticable, I think, too. Pair it with dark?
  11. Buying incarnate ingredients is the least cost effective way to do incarnates. I've never, ever spend an inf on incarnates, and I work on tier 4 for all incarnate slots... So maybe you need to rethink/look again?
  12. My issue is I don't really feel like rolling a character just for pvp, and the characters I love in pve might not build well for pvp. Ah well. I'd sunk about 53 million inf into the alt build. Easy enough to get back with unslotters
  13. This is all great advice. And a good start for me learning. I went with Sentinel because it's my main - it has all the accolades, and is my most solid pve build. But, doing a second PVP build may be a waste of resources if all is as you say. Good to know on DR...if I'm going to build this particular combo for pvp should I try to layer in more resistance as well? Should my attack chain be tightened up to less powers? I see that there are three powers which would make an optimal ST chain for archery. Maybe I don't need more than that? All in all, I'm going back to 'this won't be worth it' and I should pick a different combo if I want to PVP 😔 That Mids > Beta thing is ridiculously awesome, and I think it should be pinned somewhere obvious! Seems so much faster than doing the build in mids, creating a character on beta, and manually doing the auto level and slot thing.
  14. I'm fairly new to PVP (well, except Live rollout) so my goal is doing decent to ok with it in pvp zones solo, and maybe win an arena match now and then. The goal is just to be fairly survivable while plinking out solid ST damage, for a Sentinel at least.
  15. Just theory crafting based on what I've read in here. I want to build a decent-to-viable, maybe great PVP build. Here is my first shot at it.
  16. Necroing the mess outta this post to see what you chose! My main is an Archery/Ninja/Ninja. Yes it's Sent damage, but mine is boosted 57%. range is boosted 67% and movement speed is healthy at 89 mph run speed. The Archery/ninja*2 feels comfortable in the thick of combat, packs all the temp powers a ninja might have, and is loads of fun. I have to not be paying attention to get 1 shotted. The Def boost can be alternated with Barrier for extra sturdiness. I'm also trying out Melee Hybrid and dipping into res debuff through the Interface pool. I just started an Archery/Ninja blaster today, and yes it plays very differently. I'm focusing on holds and stuns a bit as mitigation tools so far. Seems you can work the DoT and proc effects well with archery, no matter what AT. I think Ninja on a Scrapper and a Sent are better than Ninja Training on a Blaster, but I'm researching the forums on it now. If anyone needs my Sent build, it's in the Sentinels forum some place.
  17. I for one, am not impressed at the swap from Ignite to Incinerate. Ignite is a heavy hitting power, even if the fear effect causes scatter. Oranbega maps, for example, are great for "nowhere to run to baby...nowhere to hide" And I'd JUST set up all my macros to capitalize on Ignite, too. It just sucks
  18. Maybe goldside? Congrats on the Dark Tank.
  19. So in my line of thinking, it would be nifty to have a one stop place to post things about each particular Zone. There are lots of cool things packed into different zones and this would be one way to help people find out.
  20. I want symbols for the back too! And I want a motorcycle gang cut, specifically. You know, top and bottom rocker patches with a symbol in the middle. Oh and denim jackets too.
  21. Two mobs, is the time duration of Creepers and Storm Cell, roughly. Long enough to affect two mobs.
