  1. What AT and power sets would you use to solo the Admiral Sutter TF with?
  2. Right now, the correct choice for every support set in the game is Defender. Making some the correct choice for Corruptors is just leveling the playing field a bit.
  3. You would have the same reason you have to play a debuff set on a Corruptor now.
  4. Right now, Corruptors are essentially Defenders with worse buffs, debuffs, heals, and do slightly more damage, with much worse proc opportunities. Let's level the playing field a little. Make Defenders' debuff values the current Corruptor debuff values, and make Corruptor debuff values the current Defender debuff values. Done. That alone would be a big differentiator between the two archetypes and give people more of a reason to choose Corruptor over Defender. Plus, it plays into the archetypes' very names.
  5. There hasn't been a change to graphics settings. Have your graphics card drivers been updated recently?
  6. You can get Task Force Commander in about 45 minutes. Spend about 20 - 25 minutes doing the Brickstown SSA, then about 20 minutes doing Invader. Done.
  7. Doesn't matter. Even if there's only one pure villain, then you're still excluding one villain for no reason other than blue side privilege.
  8. Unlike The Hive, the Abyss is a true co-op zone, accessible to all four alignments and with transit points from Peregrine Island, Kallisti Wharf, and Grandville, so it makes sense to run Hamidon raids there.
  9. Yeah, I have no idea why anyone would rate Electrical Affinity nor Sonic Manipulation underperforming. They are both excellent. Deafening Wave in Sonic Manipulation is bugged right now but it’s already internally fixed, and other than that Sonic Manipulation is one of the top three Blaster secondaries IMO.
  10. Tanky at 50, damage output doesn't matter, self-buffs... you want a Time Manipulation Defender or Corruptor. It comes complete with a taunt aura as long as you stay in melee range of the baddies. Defender, Sonic or Beam Rifle would be best. Corruptor, Fire, Ice, Beam Rifle.
  11. Overperform: Tankers Defenders Cold Domination Kinetics Time Manipulation (Farsight + Power Boost specifically) Fire Blast Bio Armor Radiation Armor Underperform: Brutes Masterminds Peacebringers Sentinels Empathy Force Field lol Mercenaries Assault Rifle Sonic Attack (except on Defenders) Battle Axe Broadsword Fiery Melee Kinetic Melee Ice Armor (except on Scrappers and Stalkers) Regeneration
  12. Yeah, it's a minor inconvenience. I just felt it worthy reporting as it may seriously throw off any new players that encounter it. As for where I encountered it, I always do the tutorial zones. I mostly play red side, occasionally gold side, never blue side. I can't recall if any of the times I've encountered this were in Precinct Five or not.
  13. Oh good, it's not just me. Yeah. It's happened to me once in a blue moon since the start of Homecoming, but it does seem to have become slightly more frequent since the launch of Page Three.
  14. This happens to me every once in a blue moon. On a very rare occasion, upon first entering the game after character creation, my character will have no powers at all in the power trays. Simple fix, just pull them in, but still odd.
  15. Along with a disturbing lack of flight. Every time I play another MMOG that isn’t DCUO, I want to run back to CoH because I wind up missing flying so much.
  16. To be fair, it looks like you're a Rogue (rock on!). That won't show anyone in a blue side zone, and those tend to be more populated. As a villain at heart, I make it a point to get event leagues going in co-op zones so everyone can participate. Somehow, I managed to get a league with four full teams in Imperial City last night, on Torchbearer. Torchbearer isn't much more populated than Indomitable.
  17. Yeah. That's what just about everyone I know has said, and it's true. There's only so many times you can do Hamidon raids, mothership raids, BAFs, Lambdas, MoMs, Magi Trials, even Really Hard Way Magi Trials and Relentless ASFs. Back when Homecoming first started in April 2019, I played with a group of over 40 people that I knew from live. I mentioned about a year ago that there were only about six of us still regularly playing out of those 40+. Now? Two. Two. It just is what it is, with a rogue server with an unpaid volunteer development team. People need continually fresh stuff to keep them interested in a game, and Homecoming simply can't provide that. Heck, City of Heroes isn't even entirely compatible with my new computer. For the past three months, I've had to reset and redo all of my graphics settings each and every time I play. I'm starting to split my free time playing City of Heroes with another MMOG myself, simply because I really miss playing with some of my good friends I played CoH with two or three years ago. I hoped that they would eventually return, but it's become clear that they won't.
  18. Nova Praetoria, under the safety of Emperor Cole. Nothing bad could possibly happen there, right?
  19. Now that I don't know, that's something a developer would have to answer. But I suspect that if it was possible, they would have already done it.
  20. Wouldn't work. Null the Gull's options are via a dialogue tree, and you can't do dialogue with anyone else when doing a TF, SF, or Trial. That's why the only P2W vendor you can access while on a TF, SF, or Trial is the one in Pocket D. No dialogue.
  21. Today is Tuesday, which is the normal maintenance day. There will also be a patch. When there's a patch, maintenance is typically a hour. Servers went down exactly a hour ago, so "soon."
  22. Yeah. IIRC, Indomitable had zone MSRs for years, but too many people kept coming on lowbies trying to leech and use the MSR to get power leveled, so they switched to instanced. Lowbies don't really contribute to MSRs. The more lowbies you have, the greater chance of a raid wipe. If you have a bunch of lowbies, you need many more healers and buffers in the league to keep the lowbies up and at 'em, compared to an instanced MSR. Those many healers and buffers are busy trying to keep lowbies alive, which means less people defeating Rikti. The fewer people defeating Rikti, the fewer Vanguard merits for everyone. That's not even getting into the issue with Brutes and Tankers getting the short end of the stick on zone MSRs by doing the work pulling and getting substantially fewer Vanguard merits compared to the rest of the league.
  23. Last I checked, the mothership raids on Indomitable are instanced only, so 35+. No zone MSRs.
