You're here to discuss and debate the changes with the devs, not each other. The devs are big people (Huge, even) and can stand up for themselves. From here: . I dislike the idea of not being able to earn incarnate XP and rewards in AE, some people dislike doing regular content in the game and grinding those same story lines. Farming is no different same story line over and over. I think that it will just push people back to farming the Dreck map or other things in content vs. AE eventually. Then it's grinding again - so don't think that's your motive. I'm not a farmer but have a farmer if needed and have no issues around how people play the game if they like to farm, there are farmers who make farm maps, content and then do time challenges to themselves or in groups, it can help some people to have the familiarity of something like a farm in games. It's how certain players, play the game, they make it what they want it to be. So I don't think controlling your player base and hate of farming is your motive. A good amount of people in request/LFG when running incarnate groups require a certain +3 or +4 incarnate level shifts, also those are often requested in Tin Mage/Apex. Definitely have to have Alpha open and people can run through the Imperious TF or AE for those shard/threads merits. On live I didn't want to grind to get to play a certain part of the game, that didn't make sense to me. (not talking about other peeps here) For me - I did not want to spend hours running through PI radio missions/task forces (again & again when I already had been through them) I could see on live the take on running content over and over on a player base, the more time peeps spent in game the longer a subscription would last and the more profit a gaming company could make, but this isn't a for profit. So you wanting to torture your player base isn't your motive. Using the breakdown of merits in the market/buying things with merit/shards as a healthy market is a good thing. So online gaming market manipulation isn't your motive Question - Do you have some future changes coming that you are going to use the Incarnate Merits with, so you don't want people gathering (possibly hoarding) a bunch of those through farming? Will incarnate veteran level affect a future planned/goal or update? If you do not have some basis for the change - even if we don't know what it is, behind removing the rewards that makes the game fun for some people. Then I think the developers should leave it alone.

I think this is good as I understand it (could be off on that though) "It is also periodically re-evaluated instead of being locked in. This should prevent scenarios where an aggro-capped tank tries to taunt enemies off an ally and the taunt is completely ignored." I target team mates when on my tank and try to taunt aggro off them, if they're dying and hope that they are targeting their aggressor that's making their health go down. This will be good for when I get aggro on my tanker but maybe have one that fits the scenario above. Guessing that it would possibly catch that one as long as I am not at aggro cap and even if I may be that it grabs one during the re-evaluation.
  3. I would recommend that it be possible to get a 'flashback' version of this task force set up or ready to go in the Ourborous without the nictus elements to their attacks, to the villain groups in this task force.
  4. Since I play content and don't afk farm like on a spine farmer (yet) like I think the other people are mentioning that they possibly do, I think it's a good idea. I didn't even think of AFK farming reading your post, just when the others mentioned it. I rejoined the game on HC a bit ago and I remember when the game mechanics seemed (in my opinion) focused on making game play easier/enjoyable for peeps and also balanced. It's not meant to be like real life, so what if peeps are afk getting tickets? for realz. Then they can craft recipes and make their characters more fun for them with the salvage that they get. Also it increases the potential for market recipes, it increases the market economy but providing more stock. I don't see it as a problem. I think it's a good idea. It's a game.
  5. People play in a lot of different ways. There are players that are maxed out with ios that high defense and damage that go in and kill groups before a tank would even get to them. I've done Task Forces/Strike Forces where there is no tank for the AV's or EBs to hold aggro. I've done all corrupter ITFs where there has been no tanks. Tanks aren't necessary to beat missions and task forces. I've been on my tank and had scrappers draw aggro away from my tanks unless they have + accuracy slotted. There are tanks that just feel moot at this point and are just doing their thing, I noticed when I started playing usually groups of two players running way ahead and taking on mobs while the rest of the team kind of fended for themselves. It takes a little bit to get used to but as long as peeps aren't causing team wipes or my character to continually be defeated and using wakes I usually ignore them and team up with the ones that are close by. I also have dealt with players who kill most on the maps leaving everyone else to clean up things as they come along, I've also seen new player tanks that I think may be doing mostly AE that go in and run by three mobs and expect all three of those mobs to follow them (like in AE when a tank/brute solos mobs and people wait by the door) and then they are just unaware that the cap for aggro is 16/17 and that their team mates are going to be getting aggro as soon as they attack the group they come across without a tank to grab aggro. I don't think anyone is doing it to be offensive, I think that they just have their own play style. You could try leading a team and just set guidelines for how you want the team to be cohesive from the beginning and you'll ask people to leave if they don't want to do that. Then they can choose whether or not to continue with your team and playstyle.

  9. Have a really nifty costume and enter a costume contest and win Turn off XP (in menu/option) and don't use the XP boosters and run anything that will give you merits or that you can sell. It's a trial called Summer Block Buster or SBB is advertised on servers sometimes Minimum level 15 to enter at the end you'll have an option to choose a reward - choose the overwhelming force IO (enhancement) then go to the auction house *Wentworth (hero) or Black Market (villain) depending on which side you are playing on and sell that. (If you started on yellow praetorian side, I think you are stuck in yellow land unless maybe it works in pocket D for a cooperative team?) Sell that, it will bank you a few million, make sure you research to see how much you should be selling it for and sell it for around that or a little under I usually sell stuff a bit under so I'm assured to sell it if I'm selling it on the market or at least reasonably. Do that a few times and you'll have a few million (maybe up to thirty depending on how the market is going on sales/purchases of those OF ios). Earn merits - purchase things at the merit vendor and sell them off - one way is to Go to the Ouroborous zone and go to the giant crystal - look up lvl 15 (ish) range and you will want the mission "The New Recruits" (ask a friend to join you if you are on a character that dies easily or solo it if you want to try it out) This lists all of the Task Forces and their merit rewards you want the one towards the bottom that says "Rule of Three" that is the Old live version of the Positron Task force you will be running https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Old_Positron_Task_Force (this may take as little as an hour or as long as six depending on your play style) It awards 66 merits - go to the merit vendor purchase random rolls or save them up and purchase a recipe you have researched sells well on the market, some people recommend purchasing and selling enhancement boosters at the vendor - I don't do that, but to each their own. You can also do the Synapses task force that starts in Skyway city 58 merits can take 45 minutes up to many hours depending on your play style/team. This has an Arch Villain/Elite Boss in it, do not suggest soloing it at a low level if you're not familiar with it or have the build etc for it. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Synapse_Task_Force There are new versions of the Positron Task force that are split up listed here: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Task_Force You can also switch back and forth between hero/villain zones and run low level task forces or strike forces depending on what you would like. Mediocre Rarez are being Duped. I feel your pain the real world economy is stressful and then voila' there it is mediocre rarez - art imitating life (go figure). I use the AE ticket vendor to run through a farm or just a regular AE mission (but I prefer a farm it seems just quicker) with the ticket option instead of regular rewards chosen, sometimes; and purchase the precious(eses) *I made you a picture* that way. You can win influence and tickets and purchase from the Ticket Vendor in the AE exactly what you would like. *Winning!*

I hadn't joined another SG but I ran around on my main tanker Zappalina on Justice a lot and believe we may have been in coalition together with SG's with Crimson Sun (no guarantee of that though my memory around names isn't always the greatest) The name of the SG I took over from a very nice person was called "The Stockton Group" I do remember that SG though. So great two older people whose memory is warbly, (darn medical conditions) I call them brain farts LOL so yes happy to be a vague memory which is better than none! 🙂 I also when I joined the game remembered all of how the keyboard keys, worked and it was instinctual and that surprised the heck out of me, however remembering things from a month ago, are difficult. Hope you have found your way around the game as instinctual too, they should do a study on the brain and gaming. I've known they've done them on the brain and music. Music can make the brain retain or regain memory/times/skills once lost if it was around music - pretty amazing stuff. Also when music plays brain waves sync to the listeners/performers (they've done scientific studies on those as well).

There is a raid 10 PM EST in the Hive on Excelsior (RIP Stan Lee) Monday - Sunday Run by Frostwind, Dazi and Nicholas Bain Every week a Friday 12 AM Hive raid run by Dazi and friends There is a raid 6 PM EST run some days in the Abyss by Conflict? and friends There is a MSR that they run daily at 3 PM EST by somebody who I can't remember the name of (short term memory loss) There is an MSR run by Ok which he could let you know about (see his post in this forum) There are Incarnate trials run by Ok I think most nights around 9 or 10 PM EST?
  19. I place one and right click until I get the one I want or one that works out okay that I'll accept. Then after I get that one, I don't move it at all, it has to be in the space I want the NPC in. This trick only works with the standing ones for me.

I tried out ThunderSpy and What I liked on ThunderSpy (they have nice people that play) but on the game was the fact I could make an androgynous looking woodland hairy character with a flat chest that was 2 feet tall that looked like it belong in a forest somewhere like a brownie. The character designer is fun. The color choice palette was a little complicated for what I like but still those options may be fun for some people. What was also fun in a different way was making a huge tall that was still able to fit in caves without getting stuck anywhere. I noticed that and was like, why wasn't that on live if it can be created here? The ability to not be /stuck. I have limited time to play City Of so choose to focus on HC and that's where peeps I know the most from live are, but I think they have some fun things to try out on different servers.

It still exists for compatibility reasons, but will eventually be fully replaced by kKnock effects and removed" First Question(s) For clarification and me trying to understand this- Does this mean that The KnockUp that is currently used with the animation/power on my dual blades melee tanker- even though it says knock"back" it doesn't knock"backwards" flinging them outwards, it knocks them up into the air and they fall down, it's nice it works well, I don't have to chase the bad guys on my tanker a lot when engaged in keeping aggro, this is on my dual blade powers that she has where she whacks someone up into the air and they fall down, is that now going to be knock back as it will put them a further distance away? Or has this already been subtly changed and nothing will happen differently? The powers I'm inquiring about on this dual blades melee are Vengeful slice One Thousand cuts Second question - I play on storm character/controller/corrupter/defender - and use the KB powers defensively for my character and team, I don't want the bad guys near me when I play a storm character, i like that things are knocked back away from my character or who I may be defending. Will this now not keep the things I"m fighting away from me on a storm power character? Other random questions: I love meteor on seismic and what it does for KB I use it defensively sometimes and offensively other times, depending on how I"m playing. Would this still knock them back to the outer limits because it's awesome & I immensely enjoy when I use it that way. Mind powers: Telekinesis power - currently listed as "repel" in the description - useful in PvP and in PvE is that going to be changing? ForceField powers - Force Bubble - listed with both Repel and Knockdown Also repulsion bubble in FF is listed with Knockback will it still be able to do that? The Grenade in AR - I use it to knock back the bad guys away from me defensively as well as keep them off the squishies who are on my team who are getting aggro when that's needed, am I still going to be able to do that? Last Edit: Or are these going to be independent choices that we can make per character? Like do we want to have the current build of KB or KU or KD feature still or whatever you may be adding to just plain knock? whatever that knock looks like, with all the numbers that I don't currently comprehend.

Hello, The GM I spoke with said to post this on the forums, it has been since resolved, they saw the same thing that I did, and it listed in the support ticket #35485 area of our correspondence if you would like to see more about it. I did edit the crop on these images so my desktop icons - taskbar aren't showing. The first image shows the RWZ dummies missing, this is very early on Monday morning (I had the person on my team also verify that we were seeing the same thing in case it was my video card glitching, it wasn't.) The second image is Atlas Park again very early around 1 AM on Monday morning of this week. It was fixed by 1 PM on Monday The third picture is of when it was fixed, that I shared with the GM that I screen captured the fix to the missing dummies. Thanks.
