  1. In Night Ward, the hospital is in the mansion. There is a TUNNEL portal outside the mansion which will take you to Atlas Park. Target it on your map and follow the yellow arrow out of the mansion to the portal.
  2. I had a Mind/Rad on live. Mind has 3 decent ST attacks plus a cone fear that does damage. Rad provides -res and +dmg. It solos fairly well. He was just doing it wrong.
  3. I had a DM/EnA brute on live (before EnA got Energize and Energy Drain got +def) and I currently have an EM/EnA stalker. It's a really good set, but I don't think there's anything about it that makes it better on a brute. I don't recommend skipping Energy Drain. While you won't need the added defense, being able to refill your blue bar every 30 seconds is useful and the end drain can be used offensively. You can't sap a foe to 0% from 100%, but you can if they're under 50%.
  4. There's very little that does in any of the support sets outside of Kinetics. There are odd pieces of powers that self stack (i.e., the -regen and -end in Shock, the -regen in Envenom, the -rech in Ice Arrow). Of course any power that summons a pseudo pet can self stack if you're able to have more than one out at the same time (i.e., Acid Mortar).
  5. Stacking is per caster. Empowering Circuit will stack from different casters.
  6. I've got a fully tricked out 50 of each and definitely consider Dark/Dark to have superior AoE control and greater survivability. Mind has more damage in the primary, but this is less useful on a dominator where you have damage in your secondary. Mind may have a slight edge in soloing AVs due to Mesmerize (ST sleep). As far as soloing TFs, it's the driver not the car. While Voltak has soloed many TFs on Dark/Dark, another player with his build would likely have difficulty replicating this. There's another player on Torch (character name Number 6) that has soloed just about everything on Mind/Psi. Same comment applies. (I don't have the patience or desire to solo TFs and haven't tried.)
  7. They do stack from different casters (Kinetics even stacks from the same caster), but only up to the relevant cap. Hitting the damage cap with Fulcrum shift is pretty easy. Nature doesn't really have any abilities that approach the relevant cap, so you should get the full benefit of stacking.
  8. Yes. If you look at any of the powers on CoD, "Notify Mobs" (lower left corner) is set to "Always".
  9. Minor nit - Benumb doesn't have -res. Sleet and Heat Loss are the -res powers.
  10. The cones don't have a lot of synergy, but if you want the maximum -res, Sonic (it can do 85% with a single stack). My Poison/Sonic does nasty things to hard targets.
  11. The only proc that works in Trip Mine is Force Feedback +rech. Testing shows that damage procs don't work. I don't find the actual damage from the procs to be that impressive.
  12. This is in fact the power description. There are 19 random temp powers you can receive from the weapon raid. The rock is the only one with a single charge. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Heavy_Rock_(Raid)
  13. Since you can do DP/Ninja (Katana) on a blaster, I assume you could do it on a dom.
  14. I enjoy running most of my characters through Gaussian's arc against the Vanguard Sword (and Longbow). They're challenging and cause problems for melee types without debuff resistance. I wasn't prepared for how easily my Gravity/Storm absolutely shredded them (I was running at +3 x4). They're not very threatening when they're stunned and flopping around like fish. I even used Snow Storm a few times because it's funny to watch them try to run into melee in slow motion.

  15. You have to set the level to 30 or below.
  16. I'm aware of that, but it usually shows up in CoD. I don't see anything for Caltrops. There's no tohit roll shown in the combat log (other than the initial one stating that Caltrops is autohit). Not sure how to test the proc having a tothit roll vs. the overall proc chance. I typically get 2-3 of the 5 firing each chance. It doesn't do a ton of damage, so I may try replacing with a set.
  17. Cold is a great set, but other than Arctic Fog, none of its powers protect you. And if you're 1-slotting the shields (and not taking Glacial until lvl 49), you're not helping your team much either. Why is it you're taking Cold? Slot Spectral Terror with an Accurate Tohit Debuff set, not Will of the Controller. You want to enhance Spooky's -tohit, not his fear.
  18. FWIW, the Cyclops and Minotaurs in Cimerora are weak to psi.
  19. On my Beasts/Traps MM I've got Caltrops slotted with 5 damage procs. They proc at activation and then every 10 seconds. There doesn't appear to be an accuracy check.
  20. Earth Assault: Stone Mallet, Heavy Mallet Icy Assault: Ice Sword, Ice Sword Circle, Ice Slash Martial Assault: Shuriken Throw, Trick Shot, Caltrops, Masterful Throw, Explosive Shuriken What kind of weapons are you looking for?
  21. They do drop occasionally (Steadfast will only drop from lvl 10-30 mobs), but I generally buy them at the Auction House.
  22. I've got an Illusion/Time controller and a Fire/Time corruptor and I hit the 45% soft cap on both (easier on the controller due to better values for Power Boost). First, you want to slot the Steadfast Protection and Gladiator's Armor +def uniques in Temp Invul, which will provide 6% defense. You also want to be looking for set bonuses that provide ranged/melee/aoe defense. Keep in mind that Time's Juncture provides -tohit that stacks with your defense, but it requires you to be in melee range.
  23. Ignoring AoE, sentinels have a 1.10 damage scale while tanks have a 0.95 scale. Against a single target, a sentinel is going to out damage a tank, especially when you factor in Vunerability.
  24. If you're not on a team, is there a threshold for what percent of the damage you need to do to get the merits? I thought it was 10%, but maybe that's just for the badge.
  25. You should post this in Help and Support. I'm not aware of anyone else having this issue and I seriously doubt HC has changed speed setting. Problem is mostly likely with your network settings or ISP.
