Asymmetric Power Effect Customization Options

I wonder if its possible to mirror a character to create left handedness. Some chest emblems and emotes with text would need to be excluded from mirroring so they arent backwards though. Of course im thinking something like mirror mode in mario kart or how the wii version of the legend of zelda: twilight princess were mirrored. But that flips the entire game and not just specifically flagged characters. If it were possible then a version of ambidextrous would be possible as well by swapping costumes. -
I saw u mention it but generally the first thing i say for a bug report with mods running is to disable mods and verify. I updated the map mod once while the game was running and that caused some markers to disappear. Took me a bit to figure out what i did.

I forget which one it was that we tried to duo. We killed 1 of the elite bosses and that was it, i died every time after that without killing another. I maybe could have done better if i built specifically for it but his builds are hami tank, aoe damage, and general tanking.

Disable your map mod or update it. If the marker is still labeled incorrectly with your mod turned off then it would be a typo. A good chance that @AboveTheChemist would know if the mod fiddles with any of the markers.

To clarify the reason for this project a bit - i already have some tanks and brutes that are uber leetsauce pwnzor omgbbq never die, never need heals. And my friend that likes to heal and says its boring when im tanking. So im trying this to see if i can allow a little chaos into the tanking to add a bit of excitement to the groups. It may end up being too chaotic but using a scrapper instead will probably be too easy.

I dont think it was on that mids build but the plan is to take the melee hybrid with taunt aura, the 120 second duration barrier destiny and the interface with -5% damage or -5% to hit, whichever i feel is performing better after trying both out. The defenses will be over 45% but not by much and the resists dont really kick in till 40% hp so its mainly evading almost every attack and healing up when i do get hit. There are several power transfer: chance to heal in addition to the slotting that i usually do in health and stamina.

Im only aware of it being against the rules if the shard has 1500 accounts logged in. Then multibox accounts need to be logged off. Assuming of course that a player is using multiple accounts to begin with in order to leave one sitting around all the time.

Ever thought about condensing IO set bonuses as a whole?

Freeing up 10 slots would make it almost trivial to make a extremely powerful toon. I dont think the fix for super reflexes softcapping by level 20 is to make it possible by lvl 14. Yes this is an exaggeration. If sets are being reworked to have less useless powers and new sets are having less skippable powers then the player should be more powerful from those good powers and not need 6 piece bonuses combined down into 4 or 5. Im pretty sure almost every set has powers that can be skipped and still have enough to make a continuous attack chain. I dont really need my small blast, medium blast, big blast, cone, ranged aoe, pbaoe, the other big blast and the snipe to make an attack chain. I could take all those powers and slot them all and maybe they are all good and i dont want to skip any. But when i want an extra power pick or more slots then its time to choose what i dont really need in order to get something else. If it becomes possible for every character to have all the things then there arent many choices left on how to build a character, just if the money was spent to max them out or not. -
Aceaer use to do that on torch. Hes on a taskforce or flashback so it doesnt log him out. He did monitor it on torch and would recruit for his SG from it. I imagine he is doing the same on excel.

MIDS build Water/SR this is the early version of the mids build that im going with at the moment. of course once ive played more ill probably learn some things are and arent needed and have to go back and adjust things. im already thinking i might not need rehabilitating circuit or chain fences and just take the water AoE instead or get kick and cross punch to have a bigger melee chain. the totals in the resist area are with 50% hp. at 40% the resists start to get decent so i expect it to survive with all the positional defense and self healing.

The good ol days when procs could work off any tick of aoe rain damage and at the same % chance as any attack. That was some damage.

Took me 3 hours and i was able to make a lawn for my base. Im ready for import.

Ill be taking provoke with 6 slots. Not as good as taunt but we had a defender tank hamidon with it. My plan is to have a tankinel, a scrapinel, and a 'normal' build.

Ive never made a sentinel before but i wanted to give an unconventional build a shot and any wisdom is appreciated. I decided to do some limited tanking as a sentinel with provoke so i fired up mids and started going through a few different power combos. Invulnerability was my first thought but after giving it a run through mids, the resistances were low. Like real low. S/L was capped at 75 but the rest were like 30. I know its not a tanker but with a tanker i can get almost everything to 90. I checked some others and dark had good resists and regen but defense was low. Im not expecting amazing numbers but i was thinking i could push it a bit better then ive been able to do so far. I settled on a water blast/super reflexes sentinel since i can at least get all the positional defenses above 45% and resistances will rise some as hp falls. The heal over time from water looks promising but i wont play much till this weekend. I can post the actual build if needed when i get home and ill look around the forum too but havent seen anything on tanking with a sentinel yet. So any advice is appreciated and if water/SR is a bad combo feel free to say so. Im open to other powers and can reroll the character if necessary.

I was given a damage one last year during a hami raid. Used it and saw all those present buffs and went to count how many i had. I forgot to refresh EoE and i died. @Anyad said it was the best gift she ever gave.

It doesnt bug me that those badges became harder to earn with no distinction between the two. In the long run i think the consistency of all master runs having the same requirements was more important in this case. I dont want the devs doing it constantly though. I can picture some of the conversations though if it was left alone. 'Master of eden LFM' 'Is that the one with no incarnates?' 'Ya' 'Ok nvm' Or the run starts and they notice their destiny is disabled and leave at that point. Not that these would occur often but thats why i appreciate them being standardized. More content to give those incarnate abilities a workout is coming eventually too. Possibly even challenge settings on old content. Doing posi 2 with a dr vahz at lvl 54+2 would be fun, for me anyway.

I imagine when they get around to converting all the KB powers to the new format that the IO will convert from KB to KD without changing the magnitude very much. And then increasing KD magnitude remains KD under the new system. And im not sure if this was nerfed before powers could be different in pve and pvp so if it needs to remain knockbackless in pvp then thats for balance reasons.

Well, im trying to knock a war walker and they have 50 knock protection. Its gonna take more then the average knock to put one on its butt. Im going for succeeding to knock a target in spite of high amounts of KB protection.

The warriors buy and sell magical artifacts that can grant some powers. But ingame they mostly just keep the artifacts.

Id recommend making the arena cross server and see if thats able to get matches going. When i check there tends to be 10ish people signed up in different events but not enough to get a certain battle started. If that was for all servers then 50ish people entering the que should get some battles to pop.

Now that the vectored knock system is active and starting to get some use as detailed here, i would like to suggest restoring the full functionality of power boost and ancillary/patron versions of it. Power boost improves a wide variety of effects and in its description knockback is one of the stats its improves. This was a problem for many players as using the power would convert most knockdown into knockback. The only way to 'fix' it at the time was to remove the buff to knockback since knockdown was just knockback of less than .7 magnitude. But now its possible to have a power with knockdown that stays knockdown as its magnitude increases since knockdown and knockback have their own stats. Power boost can increase knockback on powers where players want it and leave others knockdown alone. Ive been working on a cold/power defender with maximum knockback in mind and made the mistake of only reading the description of power boost and not checking the detailed info until i was lvl 41 and about to take it from the ancillary pool. I was disappointed that it no longer improved knockback so i did a patron arc to check out the patron pools and was suprised to see another power boost type ability but it also did not improve knockback. He isnt quite 50 since i put him on the back burner after the power boost double whammy. So im just suggesting to restore power boost to its original form now that the reason for its change is no longer required through programming limitations.

They need to test the vectored knock on a wider scale then just singularity eventually. A set that knocks up, down, and back potentially at about the same time sounds like a good way to give the system a workout.

That would require removing the heads immunity while a tentacle is alive. Some would go for badges but afterwards the tentacles would be skipped like hamidons poor mitos. It would pretty much have to be an instance and that it doesnt award the original badge so the zone version doesnt degrade into a skip 90% fight.
