  1. I didn't pay too much attention to the powersets, just noted I felt I should have had more progress than I did and, when I started looking for something more concrete to report, it was always an Elite that didn't give credit. It's possible the older ones do give credit and I just didn't note the difference. (Related to the Crey upgrade from the last patch was my first thought, too.)
  2. That was the plan when issue 23 beta launched, but changed to Ms. Liberty before it went live.
  3. Hunting in Eden for Infiltrator/Conspiracy Theorist, I noticed my badge progress bar seemd to be filling slowly. When I started watching carefully, Paragon Protectors gave credit, but Paragon Protector Elites did not.
  4. Back when Homecoming launched – around the release of Avengers: Endgame and when copycat characters were... I think let be is the most accurate way to describe it – I nearly created a character inspired by the Cap-Mjolnir sequence called Endgame Spoiler. I decided against it for a few reasons, but kept the character in the back of my mind. I now have Dill Lyre Scorch, who's following the footsteps of her WWII hero grandmother (with some modern touches, like the shield and mace) and has a costume less likely to get whacked with the generic bat. Sometimes characters don't end up where I mean to. Even Weaving Heel was conceptualized as being my gazillionaire industrialist's Alfred or Pepper Potts, but the first time I played her I realized I'd made Clay Burton. Some others: PLACT-A was a character I had in the back of my head for a long time but the character concept clicked when I ran Praetoria and met IVy. Avast Moon Cry exists entirely because I wanted to name a character Anastasia Romanov. Argon Gas Horn is based on Root from Person of Interest. Dry Fable is the Dracula/Moon Knight meme + Old Man Henderson. (She thinks she won a lot of money in a high-stakes poker game, but her opponents – unsavory people such as Nemesis, Countess Crey, Tyrant, The Center, Teal Serpent, Hamidon, Dr. Vahzilok, Odysseus, Lord Recluse, Hro'dhotz, etc., etc. – conspired to swindle her winnings and now she's out to get it back.)
  5. Yes, Sybil Psyche is what I call Sister Solaris. (She's a sybil, she's based on Sister Psyche.) I suppose I should change the post to make it clear.
  6. It didn't entirely replace Experienced; I got both from the last round of packs I bought. Maybe just in the rogue/vigilante packs?
  7. If they only started showing up on Tuesday, perhaps an unintended consequence of moving the XP boosters around in the P2W window, much like the help channel being flooded with people freaked out that they seem to be gone. At any rate, it's a super-crappy thing to get from a pack since they're free from the vendor. At least Windfall has some value. I think. And they can't be deleted, either from mail or once claimed. Urgh.
  8. Those aren't set bonuses, they're procs.
  9. Confirmed. I could probably get another couple seconds off if I tried. Edit: The other slope is even easier. Didn't even need Afterburner.
  10. With the fly speed boost, I've gotten silver medal times on the luge course just by flying. Flight's a bit slower than doing it properly, but you can go off-course and cut corners. Maybe if I maxed out flight speed (not a big deal, one 50 Fly IO each in Fly and Evasive... very feasible to do with unslotters... I might actually try this...) I could shave off the last few seconds.
  11. The winter event went live ~20 min after the servers came back up. I got the License to Chill badge and the notification Father Time needs help rescuing creepy babies.
  12. IIRC from last year, a GM has to go in and manually change the price of the seeded packs. I don't remember at the start of the event, but it was about a week after the event ended before they went back to 25m. And, as the others have said, there's no guarantee it'll happen this year.
  13. I did a Manti with the specific goal of finding Cryogenecists, fought through most of the misisons, and got 14. Figure I can tweak some things and maybe wrap it up in two more runs. I'll add Aeon to the first post. Are gamma tanks common there, too?
  14. Sounds like the progress bar is for Master of ASF but the description is bugged.
  15. The Origin of Power now works at level 50. Four talks (should be five, but for some reason the Posi talk mission's missing), then one door mission. Gives seven merits so it gives a badge, and took me 8 minutes the time I timed it. Might be rough with no travel powers, but The Ouroboros Initiation should now also be level 50 and takes place entirely within the Ouroboros citadel. Also, the current situation is temporary; they're going to take a look at story arc rewards after the holidays.
  16. (If they're not there, clear the area, leave, and come back. [13]) Here's a more detailed breakdown by Zhym and further breakdown by Lorraine of Pinnacle. Credit for suggestions:
  17. We can get a Pillar of Ice and Flame, an Echo Transporter doesn't seem like a big ask. (I personally disagree with removing the echo beacons, but it's done and unlikely to change.)
  18. Four stacks total, regardless of source. It's why I don't fuss too much about choosing the "best" Interface power. I just pick one with a dot that matches my theme and go up the radial tree.
  19. Kahn/Barracuda is probably a good bet: that last map is huge, and the others are a pretty good size, too. Probably what I'll do; advertise a badging defeat-many Kahn run and hope to get it in one or two shots. Other ideas: Depending on the level range of the added lycanthropes, Mender Lazarus' arc could work. If the Council versions count, there's the Path of the Dark story arc, and some Kheldian arcs have them IIRC. I think one of Max's missions is 5th Column? And the 5th Column shows up in tip missions (the awful one where you have to find Maelstrom to talk to him, only he's stealted so if you miss him he's near-impossible to find again), so that's an option, too.
  20. For archvillains, instead of each stack taking 3.5% of their max health, it takes lowers their max hp by 1000 instead. And it can stack up to four times, to -4000 max hp.
  21. Tier only matters for the chance each proc has to fire. Stacks don't depend on source; 1 or 50 people all firing at the target just affect how quickly you'll reach the cap. Credit to UberGuy and City of Data for this information. Cognitive Confuse: 4.3 seecond magnitude 2 confuse, stacks up to 4 times Psionic DoT: 10.709 psionic damage per second for 4.3 seconds, stacks up to 8 times Degenerative Max HP: -3.5% max hp (capped at 1000 for archvillains and similarly strong enemies) for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Toxic DoT: 10.709 toxic damage per second for 4.3 seconds, stacks up to 8 times Diamagnetic ToHit: -5% tohit for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Regeneration: -10% regeneration for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Gravitic Recharge: -10% recharge for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Movement: -10% jump height, run speed, flying speed, jumping speed for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Recovery: -10% recovery for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Paralytic Defense: -2.5% defense for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Damage: -5% damage for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Preemptive Endurance/Recovery: -1% endurance per second for 4.3 seconds, -5% recovery for 4.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Energy DoT: 13.3863 energy damage per second for 4.3 seconds, stacks up to 8 times Reactive Resistance: -2.5% damage resistance for 8.3 seconds, stacks up to 4 times Fire DoT: 13.3863 fire damage per second for 4.3 seconds, stacks up to 8 times Spectral Immobilize: 4.3 second magnitude 2 immobilize, stacks up to 4 times Negative DoT: 13.3863 negative damage per second for 4.3 seconds, stacks up to 8 times ------------
  22. It's not "loaded with voids." It's a single void. Sunstorm even warns you about it.
  23. The three problems with voids: They only spawn if there's a Kheldian in the group. They only spawn if the enemy faction doesn't have Quantums. They're a fairly rare spawn even at x8. I've got some ideas where to look for them, but I'm half-resigned to rolling a peacebringer on my second account, grabbing the early mission that spawns a guaranteed Void Hunter, and dual-boxing it 100 times.
  24. I did a thing. Suggestions/corrections welcome.
  25. The ones you "missed" are duplicates of contacts you did: Brogan – Johansson, Torres Dempsey – Feldon, Kord Hughes – Jimenez, Summers Pierce – Cantorum, Wong Sanders – Mansfield, Sanchez This reaches its peak in the 20-24 range where there are thirty contacts with five sets of missions between them. 25-29 and 30-34 have at most two contacts per mission set, and two i0 contacts with unique sets (Christine Lansdale and Phillipa Meraux), then all contacts from 35+ are unique. On each of the following pages, each column represents contacts sharing a mission set. 10-14 15-19 20-24 25-29 30-34
