  1. An interesting arc to be sure. The dialogue options were pretty good, and it was fun seeing Frostfire again. The unique dialogue option for having done this as a flashback is also great attention to detail. Although the subject matter definitely feels up there with Lieutenant Harris' arc in terms of ick factor. I appreciate we get to choose how to handle it, unlike with Harris. I did notice a few bugs though while doing the arc as a flashback: in the first mission the Hydra Telepathic link Snooper was unable to be attacked and kept running towards the exit door (intentional?), Dr. Stribbling was not present on the Brickstown map, the missions to call him had a map marker leading right to where he ought to be (but calling would finish the mission), and taking the smuggler's sub from Striga to Port Oakes caused me to fall through the map until it reset me on the beach about 300 yards from the mission door.
  2. I tried this out on my mace-only Bane Spider and the redraw overhaul makes a world of difference! Going from mace attack -> Surveillance/Ion -> mace attack feels smooth and flowing, without any awkward pauses to redraw weapons. This change will probably get me to factor Venom and/or Frag Grenade back into my build. The redraw was a serious hamper before, but not now. Thanks devs!
  3. There is a hole in the floor of Echo: Rikti Crash Site at [3229.4 -140.6 -3462.3] which lets you fall through the world.
  4. Thermal Radiation is the obvious pick for me. Its a jack of all trades that has +res shields, mez protection, -def debuff, a crazy -regen/-recovery debuff, a rez, a great +dmg/tohit buff, and some strong heals. I picked it up on an MM and then went all in with on a Defender and fell in love. Really surprised its not a more common pick.
  5. I've been hunting down zone event & monster badges across 10 toons. It'll take me a good while to get them all done, but its a nice fun project. The only downside is there's a lot of waiting and RNG to rely on. Some monsters can be reliably spawned (Goliath or Scrapyard), but most others are pure RNG (Sally especially has been a tough one to get). Still, its a fairly low stakes time sink in between other things I do.
  6. I've used AE a handful of times over the years, mostly to create overhauls of existing NPCs or enemy groups. A lot of the Blueside contacts are really outdated and flat-looking, so I went through and remade some of them in AE just to see what they'd look like. Additionally, I've worked on overhauls of the Hellions and Crey to bring their looks up to a more modern standard. IMO Hellions, Warriors, Trolls, and Outcasts need a visual update similar to the Skulls, Rikti, or COT; AE is an excellent tool for me to try and bring that idea to life. I've thought about using AE to create backstories or character-specific content to RP or headcanon with, but I don't really have the time for it. Otherwise, I don't use AE much at all; I don't like using it to farm (which seems to be its main usage), and I don't really have an interest in playing player-made arcs.
  7. Touching on what Snarky said, when Lady Grey is the weekly TF, you'll see plenty of Rikti invasions throughout the week - its practically an invasion week all to itself. Similarly, when Katie Hannon is the weekly (and during Halloween) you'll see zombie invasions pretty often too. Otherwise, they're infrequent events that are player-triggered.
  8. Viridian has got to be one of the most difficult contacts to unlock. As a reward for completing several badges (and some defeats) you unlock his fun story arc - "The Conference of Evil" - where you pummel and gather major AVs before dealing with Nemesis & his goons. Its a nice arc to unlock and go through, but it shocked me that there is no badge for completing it. So my suggestion is to add one as an extra incentive to seek out and complete the arc. Sample titles: Doombringer, Conference Manager, HR Nightmare, Eternal Nemesis, Organizer, PR Nightmare, etc
  9. I never really found the Origin Pools to be that useful tbh, especially after the Travel Pools got reworked. Mystic Flight doesn't come with Hover or Evasive Maneuvers, so its still janky. Mighty Leap is alright, but misses out on Double Jump. And I don't like Super Speed, so Speed of Sound doesn't appeal to me at all. The attack powers I didn't really have much need for, but I often play Corruptor or Scrapper - characters that don't lack for attacks. And the final buffs are.... meh. Not bad, but not worth investing 3 powers in to get. I've tried all 3 Origin Pools before, and I ended up respeccing out. I like the idea behind them, but I don't really find them worth the investment.
  10. I moved all my toons from Torchbearer to Excelsior in 2020 and never looked back. I have thought about putting one on Everlasting to check out, I hear the villain pop is higher, but otherwise I like sticking to the one server. It keeps things easier. If you meant things like Thunderspy, then still no - my only account is with Homecoming because its where the people are.
  11. Nothing like that. My stuff was putting the original tracks back to Atlas, Mercy, & DA; plus a rescoring of Praetoria's zones with music from the original OST. And I muted Hasten because the sound bothered me a lot.
  12. I made some music mods (and a muted Hasten) for COHModder, so I'll definitely get those uploaded ASAP so others can use them. Just gotta figure out how to get my .ogg files to become .pigg files. Thank you very much for making this tool!

All of them, except for Doc Buzzsaw and Dr. Vahzilok can be found in the Graveyard Shift arc from Agent Watkins, so I'd recommend running that one to make sure you get to 7/9. Doc Buzzsaw and Dr. Vahzilok can be found in Posi 1 & 2, so I'd give them a run too and you should be all done.
  14. I've been taking a beginning drawing class and it got me sketching out some of my toons. I first created them in Hero Forge and then sketched based off of that; I like the stylized look and the different poses I can get. Presented are: Orson (Thermal/Energy Defender), Norina (Earth/Ice Blaster), and Camalos (Street Justice/Super Reflexes Scrapper)
  15. This may not be something most notice or care about, but most of the TFs and trials have titles; that is, with two exceptions: Lady Grey's Task Force and Ms. Liberty's Task Force. The title of a TF pops up in the LFG menu and in the contact window when you check in to grab another mission. I know that most everybody (myself included) refers to TFs by contact and not by title; but it does irk me a bit when they nearly all have proper titles except for two. It sticks out like a sore thumb on the LFG window. Like this: So I'd like to suggest giving titles to the MLTF and LGTF (like the ones ITF and LRSF received). I brainstormed some titles to help with this process. MLTF: The Spider's Web, Rogues' Gallery, Light in the Dark, In the Name of Liberty, Freedom's Triumph, Stopping Armageddon, or Absolute Power LGTF: And Behold a White Horse, And Behold a Black Horse, Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand, For the Great Day of His Wrath Has Come, or There Were Sealed 144,000 For MLTF, I went with something related to Arachnos, the fact its a lineup of major AVs, freedom as a theme, or the Web's nature. LGTF is more straightforward with references to the Book of Revelation, so I looked for verses that could serve as titles. For fun, here's a mockup of some potential titles in the LFG menu: I think its worth giving these TFs a title, and I hope any of my suggested titles help out. I know this isn't a gamebreaking issue (and that Page 4 is readying for release) but I hope the devs seriously consider this for Page 5 or some other update. Thanks for reading!
  16. The hardest difficulty I tried was Vicious (on my first run at that) back in December, and it was a grueling 3 hour experience that turned me off from the ASF for months. After that run, I didn't have any faith in the idea of new TFs for a good while. A few months later I tried a Malicious speed run and also hated every second of it. And then, just a few weeks ago, I (cautiously) tagged along on a casual run on the standard difficulty, and it totally changed my mind. I was actually having fun with it! Playing a few more times with family and friends (only 4 or 5 of us on a run) at +0x6 with the standard difficulty helped me gain a real appreciation for the ASF and the work that went into it. There's good comedy, beautiful set pieces, and fun fighting. That said, I'm with @Lazarillo on hoping for an SSA version. There's so much wonderful dialogue that only the leader gets; its really hard to follow the plot if you're not running it. Not to mention the pressure of wanting to keep the team moving means there's not a lot of time to read the lengthy (but fun) clues or prompts. In short, I'd say that I definitely didn't enjoy the higher difficulties, so I hope any future TFs keep an easier standard difficulty. And you gotta give the masochists difficulty, so I hope that future tough modes are out there for those who want them.
