  1. Firesign Theatre - I Think We're All Bozos On This Bus
  2. One odd thing I noticed doing the new old Paladin event in KR. The level-less Clockwork mobs were dropping KR level salvage like Spell Scroll and Boresight. No complaints here; lowbie salvage is more worthwhile than level 50 salvage (for me at any rate) and the ability to earn that salvage while using level 50 powers is most welcome. The new old event awards the Knight Errant badge, but not the Knight Errant temp power. If you have the temp power you may now want to save it for special.
  3. Johnny Cash - Route 1 Box 144
  4. Dirty Honey - Rolling 7s
  5. The Stranglers - No More Heroes
  6. I can't think of any of my characters that has an entirely blank bio, though some simply explain the literary, historical, or mythological allusions they contain, On the other hand I tend to find tragic and dramatic bios a bit much, and as a consequence of that taste I have a running contest with myself to pack as much backstory into as few words as possible. I still consider Whiskey Woman's bio to be my all time masterpiece in the genre.
  7. I have a DB/Fire Brute, remade from Victory, but if I were starting from scratch I'd consider a Tanker. Tankers now generally get bigger AoEs than brutes, which would be a strong benefit for DB. Whichever you choose, on DB accuracy, accuracy, and more accuracy are your friends. This also argues for Tanker, because on a tanker bigger base armor numbers make it easier to build for other bonuses besides defense and resistance.
  8. Torchbearer has occasional, ad-hoc giant monster tours that take it down as an afterthought, and as a result I'd say most of my major characters have the badge. But this one requires a bit more coordination than some of the others, getting started requires some kind of flight power, and it's in an out of the way zone that traditional content probably won't send you to, so it's even less likely to be happened upon than, say, Lusca. Lusca often gets noticed if you are running Manticore, Citadel, or Penny Yin; not this one. I do think that the rewards should be raised on the GMs that require something more than bumbling onto them and seeing them. like Lusca, Caleb, and the Seed. Right now the most rewarding GM seems to be Adamastor, who does need to be summoned deliberately, but apart from that doesn't need all that much coordination. I do rather miss taking down three Paladins as a lagniappe when running Manticore and doing the Kings Row mission. Most days there would be three of them, gathered in a specific place alongside the ramp.
  9. Edwin Starr - War
  10. When I am at the clinic I use my mobile phone as a WiFi hotspot; the clinic wifi has too many improper and out of bounds opinions about what games I shouldn't play and what blogs I shou;ldn't read. I was eventually able to get Bixby out of the way and reset the phone, which mostly solved the issue.
  11. May not be 'special' but sells your concept immediately.
  12. I just started getting this on my laptop, Made sure all the CoH and Homecoming files had access through Windows firewall. Has not been an issue before today. Attempting to access Reunion gives the same results, you click on a server, nothing happens for a long time, and then it kicks you back to login with this message.

  17. Oya Iyansan is an African (and Afro-Caribbean) goddess of storms, war, and graveyards, syncretized as St. Barbara. With a portfolio like that she was bound to turn up in my character roster. Electric/shield scrapper.
  18. The Royal Guardsmen - Snoopy vs. the Red Baron
  19. Night Raid - MIC
  20. Electric/Shield, with its two slambo attacks, is another highly enjoyable classic combo. You will want all of the endurance procs, though.
  21. Back when I was playing WoW, every so often we would spontaneously go on a tear and get a league together and kill the leaders in Stiormwind and Iromforge, or make similar incursions into Orgrimmar and Silvermoon. Killing cats in the blood elf city was particularly satisfying. There was no loot and no reward for killing the leaders. We did it simply 'for the Horde' or whatever. It would probably be great fun to invade Atlas Park, kill Ms. Liberty and Azuria for gits and shiggles, and so forth. Recluse's Victory is a pale substitute. On the other hand, it would be rather annoying to run a Manticore and be sent to talk to Ms Liberty and find her indisposed as a result of an incursion like this, so it surely can't happen.
  22. I couldn't get into defenders until I rolled a Poison/Dark. What I like about the combo is that I'm not a healer, and almost every power is aimed at enemies rather than allies. Radiation is also a good choice for what you describe, but to some extent, it requires conning mobs to identify bosses beforehand, and the game has moved beyond that quite a ways.
  23. Porcupine Tree - Arriving Somewher but Not Here.
  24. Gorecki - Symphony No 3, mvt. 1
  25. Rolling Stones - Silver Train
