  1. I have a different version of this as my ringtone.
  2. Jimmy Castor Bunch - Bertha Butt Boogie
  3. I have semi-retired my Fire/Dual Blades brute (can't generate tradeable empyreal merits anymore) and currently farm on a Radiation/Spines tanker. I like Radiation on a tanker a lot; it doesn't have total holes to anything and brings debuffs and healing to the table. Spines is very helpful for holding aggro. Neither character is a dedicated farmer, and they both do well in regular content.
  4. On a tanker, at least, Dark Melee has never been about seeing big yellow numbers, but rather about improving your toughness with a fast firing self heal and consistent tohit debuffs. Not a great farmer set, but a fine team oriented tanking set.
  5. Was going to suggest that. It has the flaws of the earliest (i2?) material - you'll be sent hither and yon, just about anywhere but Peregrine where the contact lives, and you'll be sent looking for one guy on vast outdoor maps - but beyond that it's a lot of fun on the right character. 'A Titan Named Joe' from Crimson is also worth playing through, May not be a formal story arc, just a set of chained missions.
  6. Zapp and Roger - More Bounce to the Ounce
  7. I was messing around in Recluse's Victory on a staff brute (rogue alignment), and captured a couple pillboxes. Every time I attacked a turret, I would get an orange message 'Taunted!' I figured the turret might be taunting me, but no, this was apparently announcing that my attacks had successfully taunted my target. The same thing happened when I attacked some Longbow. Not really an impactful thing, but it seemed unusual and unnecessary.
  8. My ultimate tanker for pure survivability is invuln/dark melee. Scaling defense, constant -tohit debuffs, and a self heal that's an attack. AoE improvements make it possible to use Soul Drain and Dark Consumption as attacks. Tough as Granite, none of the drawbacks. For all around fun, though, I'd do Radiation/Spines. Bio/Spines is also quite good, but Rad/Spines excels at tanking because of the broad spectrum of its resistances; the worst hole is to Cold damage, and even that is bearable, and not that common in the late game.
  9. That would still be my #1 thematic buff to Regen. If a set is as dependent on click heals and buffs as Regen is, the ability to use and benefit from them when clicked needs to be preserved. It should be first in resistance to -recharge, -heal, -regen, -HP, and -end/recovery. This would simply enable its powers to be useful no matter what. It could still be overwhelmed by too much incoming damage. But if the player can hit the button, it would still work. As to sets that need buffs, I would suggest Flight. It's the iconic travel power that's way too slow. Group Flight mostly annoys and confuses teammates. It is generally too drifty, and needs finer player control. The performance with Afterburner on should be baseline.
  10. Joel Gion - Yes
  11. Easybeats - Good Times
  12. It's A Beautiful Day - Bombay Calling
  13. One thing I've found helpful is to bind something else -- a targeting macro, a banter bind -- to the - that's next to the 0 on the main keyboard. But after a character gets incarnates and has so many click powers, that's no longer enough.
  14. Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs
  15. This character is well outside my comfort zone. But he's another entry in my never-ending quest to fit as much backstory in as few words as I can. Really need those bagpipe shoulder pets.
  16. For existing characters with beast/ninja run, can those powers be traded back at P2W for the new one, similar to what can be done with the lowbie veteran attack powers?
  17. G. F. Handel - Music for the Royal Fireworks - Overture
  18. Did some monkeying around with Teleport Target. I would try to work in Recall Friend on any character with stealth or support abilities. Oddest thing I noticed was that its teleport-to your location seemed to have a lot longer range than its teleport-away from did. I was not able to teleport an enemy much more than a few feet away, but I was able to teleport a foe to me from a substantial distance.
  19. Stalker with a defense oriented armor set like Ninjitsu. If you're using Heal Other it's interruptible, so solid stealth and a defense based on not getting hit will help a whole lot with your quest.
  20. Styx - Suite Madame Blue
  21. My Bloody Valentine - Only Shallow
  22. Clarification request - must the 'destroyable objects' be objects that the players are expected to destroy? Or may defensible objects that mobs are trying to destroy and that players must defend also count?
  23. When they were exclusively redside, every MM I ever tried to play came to grief in Sharkhead. Now that they can be heroes 1 to 50, I have a max level MM. Still not my favorite AT - not a fan of the noise, clutter, or micromanagement - but I did give the AT a fair shake, and I do enjoy bringing the character to BAFs.
