I have seen alot of posts suggesting Bio T9 is useless and i disagree 100% i just believe that people are not using it to there advantage and are waiting to use it as some kind of emergency cool down...i do not believe it should be used this way, when stacked with dna siphon and ablative carapace you have capped regen and capped recovery and even def in 30% range and ressit in the 40% range will allow you to survive long enough for ablative and dna siphon to recharge. the outlier being mobs that tank your recharge, these are what bio is truly weak against. TLDR: bio is not a reactive set it is a proactive set, hitting all three bio clickies on cd makes for the best survivability in my honest opinion, and this is what i think a lot of people are missing with bio armor.

i personally do not use it as a panic button perse, i use it on CD which on my build is super close to perma...maybe 15 seconds shy, which not only fixes any issue of dying it also fixes any issue of endurance.

i would love it if they also added a reverse wormhole/savage leap type power would be so sexy for a t9

maybe i am missing something but i can definitely +5 my recharge IOs in hasten, no i cannot catalyze them but if we are basing this off of normal IOs then you can absolutely boost them to +5 using enhancement boosters unless you are basing this off of SOs...which are not IOs...then fair enough although your terminolgy is what led to my misunderstanding

I figured i would see what i could do in mids with this ...i made sure to slot flash arrow with no damage procs, and while i am sure you will notice i do not have fly or hover you can achieve the same effect with a jet pack. i also did not include an ability like afterburner, i personally always forget to turn them off when i need to attack or forget to turn them on before i die. the build here has pretty much all defenses between 29-36% with perma hasten and smashing and lethal resistances capped. i also included a celerity proc in sprint for stealthing missions. that will work unless there are baddie with high ACC(i havent run across very many at all). Finally this build is EXPENSIVE... i farm alot and i dont even think cheap builds or leveling builds any more, so use this as inspiration or straight up copy it ...you will enjoy it:)

im not a huge blaster guy, but if you could find a way to fit super speed in and put a celerity stealth proc in sprint, you can stealth through any mission especially if you have stealth as well.

as far as Thunderstrike hitting only two -4 enemies i feel you and i play very differently, as usually Thunderstrike hits its full target cap when used unless there are only 2-4 enemies left:) but i can see where you are coming from in regards to MU and i may try it out. In my case i am using Bio which, the way i build doesnt come close to capping def i mean almost for FCEN but still not capped ...so shadow meld can be a buffer for silly stalker moments like trying to solo a crystal + dwarves in the ITF at +4 (some of there attacks lower recharge which is what my build is centered on). anyhow i think we can at least agree that mu or soul are probably the best epic pools for stalkers for most people:)

actually i was referencing Soul Storm ... it is NASTY for procs so you have moonbeam soul storm for single target, as opposed to only Zapp... plus you get the lovely shadow meld for a one slot wonder with amazing usefulness.

it sounds to me like you actually want an AOE, auto hit, you can't touch me button, that also rehides you...if that existed...it should replace whatever armor set's t-9 is currently available similar to hide replacing one of the normal armors.

there is an AOE Placate in Ninjitsu, it by no means comes close to any of the Armor T9 let alone MoG The AoE placate has to hit on everything around you otherwise you still have things beating on you...when you hit MoG nothing touches you, for the entire duration....although since it can miss then to me that means its also useless(my opinion). but AOE placate exists, and its not god mode...so at least that is one fear proven irrational

elec melee/bio/mu...would be awesome for group play and nigh unkillable if built for pure recharge......matter of fact imma build one right now Edit: Soul mastery will be even better to fix the single target issue elec melee has

I am actually confused, with the current incarnation of stalkers, how can you ever feel like a second rate scrapper, scrappers are HORRIBLE compared to stalkers. literally every 4th attack is a auto crit, chance to hide makes even more things crit, and you can often double stack build up and sometimes triple stack it. i am honestly surprised scrapper players arent complaining that they have no spot on a team since stalkers are so much better.

i am not sure why people constantly try and reach some defense or resist cap for bio, literally stack asstons of recharge for perma ablative carapace/dna siphon and almost perma parasitic...for insane amounts of regen that regen stalkers can only dream of... you basically click your healy buttons on cooldown and can survive damn near anything...you build for bio the same way you build for damage...LOTS of RECHARGE! Take Spiritual Core for Alpha and ageless for even MORE RECHARGE...that is winning ! Also ...never ever skip parasitic its too good!

i sell everything on the AH for less than 1k inf... sometimes even purple recipes if i am being lazy but usually everything but purples for under 1k and i never ever bother the ah for something as silly as yellow salvage that is vendor trash ...same with the white of course...

fricking Tar Patch makes bad guys run...granted very very slowly, but it is annoying

i personally think that the reason i dont play dark control is the cones...especially the immobilize... lining up cones is annoying...although i get better everytime i use them...it always seems that one or two guys get missed, i peersonally feel that all AOE immobilizes should be TAOE other than that its pretty fine i guess...the howl gets repetitive, but over all not bad

i think both controllers and doms are lacking severely in there primary choices (quantity not quality). the melee archetypes have so many primaries to choose from that it is ridiculous. Blasters Defenders and corrupters choices with blast sets is also extensive. but the control primaries is a short list. with the way homecoming releases new stuff, i know that any new control sets will be polished so i am willing to wait, but i may not be very patient about it 🙂

im also confused here i downloaded the updates but my MRB already has a data and images folder...so do i add the contents of the updates to existing or do i copy the new folders over the old ones -
i just want to say that i tried this Primalist over there on cake and i had them level it up to 50 for me and did a couple AE missions for inf ...i couldnt even slot any enhancements in ANY of the powers. i did enjoy some of the game play but even discounting any of the animations being glitchy, the fact that i couldnt even slot SO in them was something very weird going on. even if the devs were working on this even with assistance from cake, there is still a HUGE amount of work to be done. it does seem like a cool idea for a third VEAT/HEAT but i want to say i personally would prefer other powersets to existing ATs rather than Primalist. on that note i did try out some of the other power pool sets and they are pretty freaking awesome and they felt more complete.

One of the reasons i like your idea is that it takes away an RNG factor out of the game, i have never been fond of Randomness that cannot be avoided or modified to be permanent. RNG has its place in so many things such from to hit checks vs defense all the way to which door is the council going to be hiding behind this time. While those are firmly situated in unavoidable game mechanics, things like chance for kb or chance for end drain is one thing that actually prevents me from choosing those particular powersets. in the case of energy blast the addition of sudden acceleration proc made that set available to me because i could then eliminate most of the randomness of the set. i could now guarantee that my enemies will always stay in range of my attacks. the type of change you have asked for allows me to go in the other direction and say "ok now i can slot for high accuracy like people were doing with the original fast snipe mechanic and guarantee that all my attacks will knock mofos back or drain endurance or what have you. this i do believe would fundamentally change the way these sets are treated. you could now slot for hi accuracy and abuse the kb-kd enhancement, to really soft cc bad guys reliably. now if only we can come up with an idea to improve endurance drain powersets to work on AVs/Hard content. ps i think your idea is in the 10%

actually what i am suggesting is that all suggestions are equal and nobody outside of the developers should be the ones stating what should or should not be done, i am not sure how my point equates to nothing should be suggested ever. i at no point said the developers are too busy to do anything, i merely stated that if somebody posts a suggestion that there shouldnt be that one guy saying the developers should focus on something else because reasons. i guess i did not make myself clear at all and i apologize for that. i love reading suggestions but i dislike the fact that almost every suggestion thread equates to: OP-COOL IDEA First poster- i like it! Second guy- that sucks why would devs spend time on this my point is the second guy shouldnt use that as a reason. since he cant possibly know the capabilities or priorities of the homecoming developers. and to be completely clear, i believe that if you dont like it, say you dont like it!! instead of using dev time as an excuse to why it shouldnt be done. come up with reasons why you dont like it to help further the idea into something you would like.
