  1. Rune of protection change... I'm ok with the change. Status effects in the game are fine, squishies have to be aware of them and plan tactically, RoP was overturned before. Squishies shouldn't be able to negate status effects as well as they did with it before. Good balance point with the new adjustment.

Now that we've removed the omgragefoam reaction based on nomenclature, we see that the new>the old. You are welcome for the 🥧. Also, Nerf Regen.
  3. I had some thoughts about exclusivity, but upon testing with no bias in mind, I found no issues. Further, I simply moved CJ from one of my under thumb mouse buttons, as it was always on before, in essence, when standing around or in combat. Two things resulted, 1. I still hit the mouse key bound to alt10 to start SJ, and then hit it to stop SJ same as before. 2. CJ is moved to alt7, as an example, with the other "set and forget armour toggles" and even if I do reflexively hit other under thumb mouse button for alt9, no effect, no problem, no changes to before in reality. I urge you to try this, because in play, there's actually no difference and as i get used to not hitting that second mouse button, I can refrain myself to use if for another power eventually. Really, this is actually, in this case, a superior set up to before.
  4. @Captain Powerhouse I do have one question, For travel powers that are running in tandem, is the intent for the primary power animation to be superior when in motion, once the changes migrate to live? For example, if fly and hover are both running in tandem, will the fly animation be preferred over hover? I'm not concerned with if this is currently the case during testing, merely curious if this is the design intent once ready for live?

  6. @Jimmy Copying my initial post here, for reference, due to the fact I had not tested in depth from a behavioral/instinct standpoint; merely from an initial difference view... I'm finding that my original concern about having to make a macro or relearn/monitor were not actually relevant: in the example I spent time as before, and found no functional difference. Here's why... If I toggle on CJ with one mouse button, as before, this is "in combat" and also basically default state. Once I leave combat I hit the other mouse button for SJ, now both are on, but this turns out to be a non-issue while traveling, as my end consumption from both being on is not an issue. When I re-enter combat I can hit SJ to turn off and CJ remians on. The only behavioral change I'll have to adopt is not alternating between 2 under-thumb mouse buttons to switch between CJ and SJ (or fly/hover, SS/CJ etc...), I'll just now tap one, because I always want the combat movement on while in combat and don't care if it's on or not out of combat. In fact, I just removed CJ from one of the under thumb mouse buttons and treat is as an "armour toggle" that I turn on with the rest and forget, now hitting two buttons to switch travel modes is a complete non-issue, just hitting one now, and that's less actual work. To top it off, travels were improved. So.. As I said before, thanks for the hard work Devs, and great work so far!
  7. Which isn't a solution because now I'll have to pay attention to which power is on. Before, I knew because I hit one Button or the other, like being I a certain gear based on the position of the shifter, could be 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th...

  9. 1. I'm not really sure we need inherent fitness at lvl 1. I'm not against it, but what's the problem being solved here? 2. Does rest actually need to be instant recharge? From a casual SO balance world where a new/inexperienced player uses it, is there a need for instant re-use, and should we be encouraging an even easier experience? 3. Super speed used to be at the absolute speed cap based on what the server could handle, has this changed?
  10. Hmm. First, thanks for all the hard work. Some considerations, Now that 2 similar travel powers that are not mutually exclusive, this presents a problem. Before, I have alt tray slot 9 and 10 keybound to 2 side mouse buttons under my thumb. I put CJ in 9 and SJ in 10. I hit one Button and CJ is togged on, I hit thebother and it toggles on SJ, while toggling off CJ, because they are mutually exclusive. I switch back and forth, in and out of combat. Now, I will be running with both on, as they don't "toggle" between each other. To rectify this, I could create 2 macros, each an inversion of the other, where one turns on cj and one SJ, both turning off their counterpart. Unfortunately, now the icon is macro icon, not the original icon. If I don't monitor this or make macro, I could accidentally be running both, which is a much higher end drain. All my travel powers on all toons are like this, those two specific mouse buttons are the two travel powers using alttray9 and 10, under my thumb, instinct to switch back and forth.

  12. DB is great on both scraps and stalks. I have both, I play them differently, both are great. DB on stalkers is my fav version, though.

  14. @Bill Z Bubba Have you tried DB/EA? I posted a guide in a thread here, slotting, sets and lal. I did update it a bit since, but it's stunningly powerful.

  20. Uh, I would highly recommend reconsidering that, as stalker BU and the ATO are absolutely amazing. Seriously, it's that good on stalkers.

  23. From the multiple voices decrying the abilities and tactics the AI uses, it's clear the game is not too easy, as so many mention in other threads. Nice, game it's balanced well, I'll definitely have to vote for keeping things the way they are.
