  1. I also welcomed him back but was not ignored
  2. One more, because this is fun. Verdant: https://suno.com/song/c6ed4d3a-6286-4adc-bb96-68918c03ea93?sh=EWnZP2LY6RFKFLEN
  3. I like how City of Heroes got worked into the chorus of Giant Monster Slayer's song.
  4. Thanks to @BasiliskXVIII for bringing Suno.com to our attention, but rather than compete with the images in the AI Generative Art thread, let's bring our character theme music to its own dedicated post. Giant Monster Slayer: https://suno.com/song/159e4909-abea-479f-9f48-2b68d3be1362?sh=qhPe7vgRUavbCTkv And my first song attempt: Groovemaster: https://suno.com/song/d1b9f194-55ab-47bd-b36e-5d1ab4549e4b?sh=W0f0zoNabb3Jht9a
  5. Zombee is clever
  6. SeraphimKensai said that the reason powers like Aim and Build Up were given limited --if any-- customization is because they can have a drastic outcome in PVP and should be recognizable. My point is that stalkers and their stealth has way more of a drastic effect as I recall back on Live getting one-shotted by stalkers out of no where unless I was playing a tanker or brute, but the nature of the AT requires stealth to not be seen. Basically there was no equity in keeping some powers highly recognizable by limiting their customization.
  7. Triage beacon sucks. It should be revamped to act more like Nature Affinity's Lifegiving Sports.....a toggle you can drop and pick up without a long recharge.
  8. My demonic mastermind doesn't command other demons, he commands the souls of damned soldiers.
  9. It is a buff power in a control set, that's why the buff isn't that good and the long recharge.....kind of like how some buff sets have a hold that isn't as good as the holds in control sets.
  10. Randohero? Please elaborate.
  11. Oh, this is a fun new toy, and Groovemaster now has his own song instead of relying on Groove is in the Heart as his theme. https://suno.com/song/d1b9f194-55ab-47bd-b36e-5d1ab4549e4b?sh=W0f0zoNabb3Jht9a
  12. Unless they made stalker stealth more visible, I would dispute the equitable argument
  13. Reference the vomit guy. "Hey, did you hear that the vomit guy was in the hospital for weeks after they dragged him out of here? Did he drink too much or did someone poison him?"
  14. I'd love to hear them cutting loose and venting about their daily lives. Civilian dancer: "I so needed this after the day I had. The bank I work at got robbed, AND they blew up my car. That's what I get for parking on the street." Council raver: "They had me sweep the whole base. It's in a cave! There's literally dirt falling from the walls and ceiling!" Longbow: "You see that earlier? I think War Witch was checking me out." Bartender: "Say, aren't you (character name)? I heard about you on the news earlier... [reference recent completed mission]."
  15. Rip Homage sounds like a good character name.
  16. People "toss" stuff on the auction house because they want money. Most stuff can be just sold at stores for a fair, possibly better price than they'd get at the auction house. Only things I bother to auction off are the things that can't be sold at stores. But maybe I'll just keep all that from now on to justify your silly concerns about hoarding.
  17. Can we get the NPCs in Pocket D to be a little more than set dressing? Like maybe add some dialogue when you click on them like random people in the streets of the city? Doesn't have to be meaningful or anything, even just "Don't bother me" or "Do I look like I care?" rather than just standing there looking like they are talking to someone else but never having anything to say unless it's the Desperate Guy and Turndown Girl.
  18. Unless you can share resources with people outside of the supergroup, then being a member of the supergroup becomes necessary for utilizing the storage items of the SG base. It's easy enough for everyone who wants to link their characters with a personal base to a supergroup with coalitions. The inconvenience comes from not being part of the supergroup.....can't access the SG base's storage, don't get the SGMotD, etc. It's like none of the benefits of SG membership but at least you can enter the base at will.
  19. If you're going to present it as an excuse for your disagreement, it was your concern to start with. If you want to present your opinions and walk away with whatever "evidence" you choose, then you certainly can. But as you can put those opinions out there, so too am I free to refute them. No one is forcing you to argue the point, but no one forced you to comment to start with either. Everything is on you the moment you choose to involve yourself in the discussion.
  20. Maybe what they need are some additional options, built using existing powers but following the format of the standard kheldian sets. For example, what about a flaming kheldian? How about a kheldian with pets instead of shapeshifting? Why not try a creating a themed set and calling it a mutation of the species or perhaps you've got a mystic origin kheldian that's learned how to transmute its innate powers into something new? If it works out, maybe look at further expansions depending on how difficult it is to add new sets to the HEATs.
  21. It's also where they wash their time dishes after eating time dinner.
  22. Intentionally "bad" can find a place in games. I think the most noteworthy example that comes to mind for me is Dan from the Street Fighter series with his much more limited attacks compared to main characters like Ken and Ryu. He is often considered the joke character, and yet some people learned to use him despite the shortcomings in his attacks. Of course, Dan wasn't useless, he just had limits compared to similar characters, notably the shorter distance on his ranged attack. I think the trick would be to find a counterbalance to the limitation. As an example, consider if you added a melee attack set for corruptors & defenders. The need for melee proximity would hurt such a character that's typically better off as a ranged attacker, so perhaps add a little more damage to compensate. Of course, that's just an example, not really a petition for melee defenders, which seems like something that should be done as a separate AT rather than trying to squeeze a melee peg into a ranged hole.
  23. Arsenal Assault lets you use the butt of the assault rifle as a melee weapon. Technically that counts. But yeah, no dedicated melee weapon assault sets.
