  1. Correct. ... That's what I said?
  2. It always did, but as of Page 5 a +stealth IO will only stack with the highest source of stealth on most ATs. Meaning that you can no longer stack stealth from Shadowfall/Steamy Mist/Arctic Fog, Super Speed, and a +stealth IO.
  3. Market Crash is a trial, not a TF/SF.
  4. I don't know about *over* Rad, but it'd be just as good with layered defenses and resistances, instead of relying entirely on one or the other.
  5. You don't need Granite for Stone Armor, FWIW.
  6. I'm not sure when it was done, as I'm not the most observant fellow... but I did happen to notice today that the "unofficial PvP shard" declaration is gone! Thank you to whomever removed it.
  7. None that have been stated. Demons are already in a very good place, (perhaps a little too good).
  8. That's mostly true, but not entirely. A couple of years ago, it was changed so that if a Mastermind eats an Ambrosia or Essence of the Earth, it applies to all of the henchmen as well. It was a serious quality of life buff for Masterminds on the Eden Trial and Hamidon raids. However, from what I understand it's also a bit taxing on the map servers. It would be nice to see this applied to all inspirations, but I doubt it.
  9. I've noticed a couple of issues lately. I'm sure that most of you have noticed that, over time, Homecoming has developed a speed run meta. It's largely gotten to the point that if someone advertises a TF/SF/Trial, a speed run is assumed. That's fine for those who enjoy speed running. I enjoy speed running myself on occasion, but not most of the time. Then there's the new players, or those returning to City of Heroes after a long absence, who have yet to learn the content or the roles of various archetypes and power sets. They need to learn how to walk before they can run. I've also noticed that the Indomitable shard has lost its identity. It was originally the unofficial PvP shard. That hasn't been the case in over two years, as PvP players mostly migrated to the Excelsior shard. Excelsior is now the unofficial PvP shard, in addition to being the most populated, with a large speed run community. Everlasting is the unofficial role-playing shard. Torchbearer is the original shard. Reunion is the European shard. Indomitable is... ? Two issues, one solution. For new and returning players, and for those who enjoy engaging in steamroll/kill most and kill all content and don't already have a group, there is now a new in-game global channel and a Discord server, Steady Indom. Anyone and everyone is welcome. There are two main rules of Steady Indom. The first is that all content advertised on the in-game global channel and/or Discord server must be steamroll/kill most, or kill all. No speed running. The second main rule is to have fun. My hope is to create a welcoming community of people who enjoy a steamroll/kill most or kill all playstyle, and are willing and open to teaching new players how to play the game. If you don't already play on the Indomitable shard, feel free to transfer a couple of characters over to join us (you get five character transfer tokens every three days), or make a new one! I can't do this on my own though. I've led Hamidon raids, mothership raids, and Incarnate trials, but I'm one person. On top of that, I'm an introvert that plays solo often to recharge. If a few other content leaders who prefer the steamroll/kill most or kill all playstyle would join me, it'd help ensure our success. Let's make Indomitable the unofficial steady shard. To join the Steady Indom global channel, type while in-game: /chan_join "Steady Indom" You can find our Discord server here. GLHF to everyone, no matter your preferred playstyle or which shard you play on. We're all City of Heroes players in the end.
  10. In most other MMORPGs, pets get a high amount of innate AoE defense, which I think they need in Homecoming. Many people forget or simply weren't around to know that up until Issue 16, the highest difficulty you could set for missions was +2. +3 and +4 difficulty didn't exist. Mastermind henchmen were never buffed to compensate. It later turned out that just about everyone at Cryptic Studios involved with the design of the Mastermind AT was gone by the launch of Issue 8, and Paragon Studios developers didn't know what to do with the AT. It was stated by one of the Paragon Studios developers in the post-sunset AMAs on Reddit that "Masterminds were the biggest mistake we ever made in the game." (You have no idea how crushing it was to read that the developers of my favorite MMORPG considered my favorite AT by far to be the biggest mistake made in the game.) They used Demon Summoning as a Going Rogue pre-order bonus in order to try to help sell it, and then later added Beast Mastery during the Freedom era in the Paragon Market, but Paragon Studios didn't understand the Mastermind AT, didn't care about the Mastermind AT, and basically left it to rot. Mastermind henchmen initially didn't get the +1 Alpha level shift when it initially came out, until a screaming Mastermind player base forced Paragon Studios to add it as henchmen were getting slaughtered in Incarnate trials. Then initially all of the Incarnate Hybrid abilities didn't work on Mastermind henchmen, and only after pleading and begging from Mastermind players did Paragon Studios finally get Support Hybrid to work on Mastermind henchmen. The other Incarnate Hybrid abilities are still bugged to this day on Mastermind henchmen and are largely useless. So, yes. Mastermind henchmen need a major buff. I'm sick and literally tired of constantly being told that "Mastermind are not welcome," when they're my favorite AT in the game by far and nothing else in the game plays like them.
  11. Yep, most people don't realize that the team leader has to turn in the final mission before rewards are gotten for the Mortimer Kal SF. Was this done?
  12. It's a good thing that henchmen are level-shifted in Incarnate content then.
  13. Yep, it's still partially coded as a villain zone. You can see it on Rogues just fine. Not sure why making the zone co-op was only half done.
  14. I think you will find more assistance in the OuroDev Discord server, which you can find here.
  15. You are. They always just grayed out with no explanation.
  16. I wasn't saying that MSRs are gatekept. I was saying that regular MSRs are so easy that they've been effectively turned into a farm, much like Hamidon raids. So for people playing level 50 characters who want a little challenge in the game but are gatekept out of advanced mode TFs/SFs, an advanced mode MSR would be a nice alternative.
  17. Or play on another shard than Excelsior.
  18. Oh, there's definitely memory leaks in City of Heroes. Try doing a Hamidon or Rikti mothership raid. Heck, I've experienced CoH ballooning up to 15 GBs of RAM just from fire farming a few weeks ago, and up to 6 GBs of RAM from doing an Admiral Sutter TF last week.
  19. I mean, considering that XP and INF in +3 and +4 difficulty content outside of advanced mode TFs/SFs was just slightly nerfed, I very much doubt this will be likely. Also, some support power sets already offer status effect protection - Force Field, Sonic Resonance, Electrical Affinity, and to a lesser degree Radiation Emission and Trick Arrow.
  20. Right now, for endgame level 50 characters, we have Rikti mothership raids and Hamidon raids which are pathetic jokes compared to live and are now essentially farmed, Incarnate trials, and advanced mode TFs/SFs that 95% of the playerbase are gatekept from. Even a few iTrial leaders do some gatekeeping by saying "No Masterminds," or "no pets," even though Masterminds are actually one of the best ATs in the game for iTrials. A new, advanced level 50 raid would be beneficial because it'd be really, really hard to gatekeep away "less desirable" ATs and power sets, and it'd actually offer something resembling a challenge unlike the current two raids. Plus, advanced mode Rikti were designed specifically for level 50 characters.
  21. That won't necessarily work, because as a Rogue I form stuff blue side, and Vigilantes can form things red side. Whenever I form things red side, I specifically mention in the LFG message that it is red side. Also, there shouldn't be any embarrassment. If you're forming content red side, and someone blue side wants to join, you can walk him or her through how to switch alignment and join you. I've done it numerous times. If they don't want to change alignment and go red side, then no harm no foul. And in all of my years playing, I've never encountered someone red side who didn't know how to go blue side.
  22. That depends entirely on which shard you play on. There's the old zone Rikti mothership raid that anyone can join, and then there's an instanced Rikti mothership raid for any one level 35+ with the Member of Vanguard badge.
  23. On a Dark Blast/Force Field Corruptor, Force Bomb doesn't always animate. Sometimes my character's arms will just stay to his side, and then a couple of seconds later the sound effect will go off and the mobs will take damage, but there's no animation. This happened prior to Page 7 as well, not sure what is causing it.
  24. The fix is to lock Ghost of Scrapyard's rewards for eighteen hours. You can still continously spawn him. You'd just get very little for it, unless you switch characters.
  25. I don't think that would tell you much, other than for some role-players. All of my non-gold side characters are Rogue, but that's because I want to do blue side content with friends. If Villains could go blue side, I'd just stay Villain. I have a feeling that many players who have Rogue-aligned characters are like that, for the convenience of being able to do blue side stuff with friends, not because of villainous content or role-playing.
