Who gets to define what is "creative" enough?

I don't buy this. Google any popular game out there and you'll find a literal shit ton of "copyrighted/trademarked" skins out there freely available. some of them have been around for decades. YouTube is polluted with videos of people playing games using custom skins. Where's the cease and desists from Disney? Nowhere. They go after people trying to profit off selling stuff. And who exactly are you to define what is or isn't "creative"? Go to a comic con sometime and take a look and the amount of time, effort, money and blood sweat tears that some of the people put into making cosplay costumes of their favorite characters. They're doing it because they love these characters, not to rip someone off. Marvel, Disney and WB aren't at the door handing anyone C&D orders and telling them to get changed. How is that any different? This rule was put in place here to appease the few who lost their shit over other people making homages for "not being creative enough". however, it's their servers so it's up to them what to do, so we have to live with their decision since we don't have the skin in the game they do. chances are greater they do something to piss off NCSoft and that gets the game shut down than someone making a Superman homage.

No need to wonder about anything. Anyone who thinks Hasten is OP and wants to dick with it can. COde is out there for anyone to download and use. Fire up your own server and tinker with it all you like. Have at it.

I think that's the problem. Hasten isn't too powerful, it's that other pools suck. Does anyone even take the presence pool?

Yeah this doesn't make any sense man. What do people do when they've gotten all their purples from drops if there isn't any new content to use them on? New content keeps people interested, not doing the same stuff over and over until your eyes bleed. you're assuming stuff based on your opinion and assuming everyone plays for the same reasons you do. games coming up on 16 years old and its still going with people playing. pretty clear some aren't bored. And yeah, purple sets are not that great either.

Am I the only one who doesn't care if someone has more ingame money than me? If someone is playing a lot more than me, then let them have more stuff. I could care less. Sure, fix exploits and such but don't take away an incentive to exemplar down for stuff. Merits aren't enough in my opinion. making extra inf was a nice perk.

Always love the "I have a sandwich, so you can't be hungry" excuse. using the same animation for ally and enemy was a stupid, lazy choice. One should look like a friendly buff, the other an attack.

This isn't some isolated incident thing. It was going on for hours last night on Torchbearer as well. Lag in AP was godawful because of it, not to mention the crap being typed in chat. These foam bats were a really bad idea IMO.

the "judgement button" thing keeps getting brought up and it's nonsense every time. to suggest all people are doing in missions is spamming judgment is stilly. They're not. People are using other abilities while judgement is on cooldown. it's a power just like anything else. trying to claim people don't use anything else but is a flat out lie.

Has nothing to do with looking for reasons to be offended. I 100% agree with the OP that the choices of animations for this set are amateur and piss poor for a supposed buff set. We're already rooted from our own animations, we don't need another one outside our control that looks like we're being given electro shock treatment. TBH, the animations and effects of this set are so bad, I won't team with anyone using it. Nothing against them if they like it, but I don't and can't stand the sounds, way over the top lightning effects and the shock animations. Whomever designed this needs to go back to the drawing board.

Wow you're completing misinterpreting the data. that's characters, not people, There isn't a million players. not even anywhere near close to that. The game didn't have anywhere near that many when it was live. What's not included in the stats is how many of those million have been deleted or are even being played. Now this is my own WAG, I would bet the 115k is pretty close to the actual size of the entire playerbase. those numbers are all alts.

Same stupid comment applies to rebalancing pre 50 content, so this doesn't fly from either end of the spectrum. No one asked for quick solutions either.

Honestly that's a very dumb question. they don't need to be plain and simple. Repeat it 50 more times it won't make the suggestion any better. You seem to want to lock the game down and never add anything new. Hopefully HC goes legit and can start recruiting all the people volunteering on the forums and start making actual content. There's plenty of pre-50 pre-incarnate content already and none of it was designed or balanced for incarnates.
