  1. And keyboard options for things, instead of the mouse-centric interface. Yes, it works, but I'd like to be able to hit space for the default choice or 'y' and 'n' and the like for dialogs. There are bind workarounds, but they're clunky.
  2. For me, it was shortly after the release of CoV; several friends of mine had had convinced me to join them in camping the rooftop of the hero base in Bloody Bay; we were up there for about two hours, repelling attempts to reclaim the roof. We weren't there to dump on the heroes -- we didn't do any taunting or random attacks unless they came up on the roof to try to throw us off -- it was more of a "We're in your base, drinking your beer" thing. Since then, I don't think I was in a PvP zone for anything other than exploration badges and plaques, and a few Shivan runs.
  3. Get IrfanView; it will let you select the rectangle you want and crop the image to that rectangle, then save it out.
  4. You can see a similar effect looking through a character with Stealth using the "invisible effects" power option -- all sorts of power visuals don't appear.
  5. Is there something stopping you from throwing away (not selling, because then you'd be benefiting from them) all your recipe drops and ignoring the AH on any one of the HC servers now?
  6. It would be more useful if the game didn't keep trying to match your speed to the mob you're following if they're moving; the number of times I've watched my character drift along lazily behind a mob, just out of melee range, when a tap on the 'w' key dashes up to them for the attack (and cancels the follow).
  7. And I've recently started making popmenu sets for location AoE powers like rains that have consistent hotkey options to work as normal (i.e., mouse click on ground to place), place straight down, or place at current target. This makes using these powers in combat less annoying.
  8. I don't think I ever did it deliberately, but back on Live, I had a Bots/Dark MM who was, IIRC, 37 when he joined a Manticore TF, and for reasons I don't understand had the team fall apart after the 'defeat all' missions, leaving him as the last person on the team. Just for shits and giggles, I decided to try to finish the TF. Back then, Hopkins was the only AV you faced in the last mission, and I managed to get all the way through and grind him down.
  9. Or, in some edge cases, screw up combat. I was playing a Brute recently, and on an office map had one of the 'panicking civilians' run between me and my target, pushing me back and actually pushing me out of range for my character's melee attack.
  10. In the last mission of Shauna Stockwell's arc in KR, I always hear Chernobog's monologue: "My brother... He tells me not to hunt you ... He says killing you would be bad for business... That it isn't right time... Maybe that's true, maybe... Unfortunately for you... I never had good mind for business." in the voice of the Heavy from the "Meet the Heavy" TF2 video.
  11. Not simultaneously, but you can create a bind to toggle on as many powers as you want; you just have to hit the key once for each power being activated -- I have a bind like this for Ninja Run, Athletic Run, and Sprint (characters only have one of the first two), and hitting the key twice turns them both on. How much this simplifies reactivating toggles would depend on how scattered they are in your trays.
  12. The GPU passed the diagnostic tests, and the problem only appeared when I loaded the video card -- exiting missions in CoH, when the game would be loading all the textures for the zone, and loading ESO, when the game would similarly be loading textures. There were no problems playing videos, even full-screen. Random reboots like that are almost always an indicator of a failing PSU; if it were a problem with the CPU, motherboard, or video card, it wouldn't crash fast enough that Windows wouldn't be able to write a fault log entry.
  13. And the Build Up animation will be stuffing a bowling ball into the purse so it hits harder?
  14. I was having problems with my computer crashing to reboot when exiting missions while playing my Masterminds, and then started having ESO crash to reboot during game load. Since I wasn't having problems with any other software, and a diagnostic on the video card didn't find anything, I replaced the power supply. Turns out the old one wasn't delivering full power to the video card, and when the graphics got complex enough, the card dropped, triggering a restart.
  15. Depends on what the definition of 'pet' is; Phantom Army still blocks movement.
  16. Or Won Hung Lo, or Hno Dong (female)... the possibilities are endless.
  17. At least, barring rude circumstances. It's an extreme edge case, but I remember the original horrid lagfest Hamidon raid, where at one point my character had seventeen AM icons in her buff listing, and it was still taking several minutes for her T1 powers to recharge.
  18. It's not having to "use up" a power pick on a power you don't want, enabling you to spend it on another power you do want elsewhere in your build, but which you were unable to pick because you were out of power choices. That counts as 'min-maxing' in my book.
  19. The suggestion, if I'm reading it correctly, is a wordy and complex way of saying "I want to be able to change my character's power sets -- ideally both, but at least the secondary -- instead of having to reroll a new character with the new powerset(s) and have to spend time and inf leveling it and slotting it out."
  20. The Sudden Acceleration and Overwhelming Force sets have procs that gimp the KB magnitude, converting KB to KD. You'd need to slot one of them if you had other KB enhancements to make sure you weren't hurling mobs out of the patch.
  21. "Troubles Obsessionnel Compulsif", if I read the term correctly. 😉
  22. Having the values stored in the costume files validated as a 'snap to quantization' check is one of the things that would be altered if we were given the full RGB wheel to play with. But having them stored as RGB values means that the file format doesn't need to be changed.
  23. And a +mag proc for immobilizes would be nice to have, too.
  24. Having had the combat tactics of all my Blasters and most of my Corrupters and Defenders get forcibly reworked because of the reduction in range for fast snipes...
  25. Back on live, there was also a somewhat risky way to transfer inf via the auction house, where you found an entry that didn't have any offerings (0 available) and put one of that item up for sale for an absurd minimum, then bid a huge amount on it with another character. It was risky because it was possible for someone to underlist that item before the sale went through, sending your inf off to J. Random Stranger. It's not needed on Homecoming, plus the coalescence of items into pools limits the ability to do it in the first place.
