They could apply the snipe changes to LRM rocket and it would save that entire set tbh, I want to use LRM but it takes so long to aim/fire by the time I am ready to shoot with it the mob in front of me has already been killed by the team. I dont mind the damage type and the long recharge can be jimmied around a bit with the right build but that casting time is torture. That's all I'd want fixed. Please and thank you!
  2. I'm kind of shocked to hear that, not exactly saying you're wrong because its been a while. With that said, Energy Melee as you said focuses more on single target and the game isnt so much about that anymore. If it were up to me I'd just lower the damage and speed up the animation a bit, even if I have to have the old one. Also, Total Focus is SLOWER? Huh. I always heard that but when I played it Energy Transfer felt longer - but thats just how it -felt- as opposed to factual numbers, preferences and all that. Cheers for the reply :)

  4. Energy Melee is kind of lame, honestly. I never see anyone use it here, on any AT - and I play a lot. I remember waaaaayyyy back on live I dropped this set like a ton of bricks when Energy Transfer got a longer animation, it was such a pain to use and honestly crippled my Tanker. And even back then it wasnt a very popular set, people would rather play other sets and rightfully so, Energy Melee hasnt got all that much going for it. I dont know how it could be improved, I'm not a numbers man. But things definitely have to change with that set, the old animation for Energy Transfer would be a lovely start! :)
  5. Pretty sure the only way to do it would be to make Hellfire Blast, honestly. I know I said it before but I'll say it again! *waves fist* Joking aside though the devs have the Hellfire powers from the demons and I know for a fact they work for player models as I have used them in my solo instance. (its a lot of fun) sadly I couldnt customize the colours of said hellfire but the fact I was able to use the powers from the demon pets as well as the whips was very VERY fun. I think with enough tweaking its entirely possible to bring Hellfire Blast into the light, whether the team wants to tackle it or not is a different story. I'm just happy to have my game back, if this new idea comes to the table I'll be so SO grateful. But at the same time I am not going to grab my pitchfork if I cant have it here. Thanks to keeping this discussion going guys! :D
  6. ^ I partially agree with this. Given the fact what HAPPENED to Wade it makes no sense you can see him in game. He's a prisoner of war now. We shouldn't be able to give him an in game /em slap or RP next to him. Now, for the points I dont agree with one bit. Reverting two TFs back to the way they were simply because the older versions were harder, undermining the entire Signature Story Arcs as a whole and lets not forget the fact its been -years- since they've both been been killed and buried. An easy fix for this? Ouroboros, just as the Devs nicely if they could put the old versions of the TFs in Ouroboros because frankly that makes far more sense. They have a lot to do and they do it in their own free time, so I don't see why they should undo things like this after so long. Its insulting to the narrative. I'd personally love to see the older TFs come back in Ouro if the team has time to do it, that would be lovely. But I'd hate to see the new stuff be completely retconned or undone.

  8. I wont lie, when I saw the JoJo pictures I internally sighed. But once I got past the meme I saw a lot of work put into this AT and honestly? I'd really love to play it. Do I think it could be done with the code? Not entirely sure...? Its always a mystery with this game. However - I do appreciate the work you put into this post. You seem passionate about breathing new life into the system with this concept and I wish you all the best for it. Its a very cool idea and reminiscent of heroes/villains with sidekicks and henchmen, it has a lot of potential. :) +1
  9. The whip is a power in itself. its not a physical weapon that you draw so I'm pretty sure that wouldnt work. But I dont know, I'm not a coder. I'm glad you like the idea though! Thats awesome. Furthermore, I just thought of this. The animation for [HELL ON EARTH] power could be used for a hold power, or a teleport foe "GET OVER HERE". That'd be cool. Might be a bugger to code but I think its possible! I dont know, again, cant code to save my life. And the code for this game is infamous. I do like this topic though and I hope it gains traction!   10. Here's a though. Crazy idea but hear me out. Have the whip as a powerset, sure. But to save the developers a LOT and I mean a LOT of time on making new attacks/animations for new whip powers. Just give the players the animations/fx for the demonic fire powers, the ones the demon pets use themselves. Combine THOSE powers with into the new whip set. Have the player character use the attacks the demon pets get, could call it Hellfire Blast or something. The whips could be implemented as the more powerful attacks with some number tweaks? I dunno. I think that'd be easier then making an entirely new whip set with animations and what not. Lemme know what you think!
  11. I've wanted to start a discussion on Lore Pets myself but since theres one here I'll post my TOP TEN Lore pet suggestions in no particular order~ 1. Spirit Stalkers - These cats and dogs are either good boys and girls or the baddest depending on your morality, would go especially well with any Beast Mastery or Savage Melee character. 2. Skulls - With their updated models and newer powers for bosses I dont see why not. 3. Malta - We've hated their Sappers for years, so lets enslave them and have them do OUR bidding. On top of that? They have some amazing robots I mean come on, I'll even take the smaller ones! 4. Circle of Thorns - We have Tsoo and Banished Pantheon but no Lore Pet love for the OG nasty magic boys? I'm honestly sad Paragon Studios never added them to begin with and I think they truly deserve it as one of the games oldest and deadliest enemies. We do have Demons and Spectral ghosts now so thats definitely a step in the right direction! 5. Freakshow - Do I even need to explain this one? Okay -fine-. Noise Tanks, I really, REALLY want Noise Tanks. . . 6. Council - Robots. Werewolves. Nictus and Ascendants to name a few. Lots of potential here. Prefer this over the 5th Column due to the Council robots looking more sleek and updated, but thats a me thing. 7. Family- We have lv 50 Family with Resistance rifles and also the Grav controllers they have, so thats pretty neat. 8. Resistance - These guys have Resistance rifles too, huh. Weird! 9. Paragon Police Department or Praetorian Police Department - I dont mind either way. 10. Hellions - Okay so hear me out. These guys are one of my favourite groups in the game and the only downside I can see is lack of variation, to fix that I suggest having their tree be combined with Bat'Zul minions/lieutenants to mix it up a bit. Damned are obviously an easy choice for bosses. And thats it, hope you enjoyed my suggestions and no matter what happens I'll be grateful for any new additions to the Incarnate System or the game in general. Thank you :)
  12. I DESPISE the newer animation for Energy Transfer, while its all dramatic and such compared to the original it just feels sluggish. On top of this I think the set needs improvements overall - as I see next to nobody using it on any AT.

Personally, since having the entire community of mixed RPers from certain timezones follow a certain "What happened?" in this space would be an utter nightmare, so I personally prefer a "We dont know what happened" flare to it. Because its the easiest way. Back on the Union server we had sort of an MCU thing going on where everything was pretty connected, dont ask me how we did that because I am still trying to figure out how we did it many years down the line. I theorise that was maybe down to the RP community there being much smaller. But here that isnt the case, the RP community on Everlasting is bursting with people, I've met so many people both old and new in such a short space of time. Most have just picked up right where they left off because we honestly didnt know enough about the Battalion to justify their full involvement, at least in my eyes, we knew they were coming, we knew it would be a big deal. But we dont know what they looked like, what weapons they used, what methods of battle they had in place, its all utterly dark because of the shut down, which again cements the "We dont know what happened". Maybe they infiltrated us? Maybe it could be something we explore as a community sometime? Or maybe we make our own "Big Bad" to fight. Either way, I'm just happy to be back, so however we tackle it, have fun and kick some posterior. :D
