Sorry for the confusion, @drbuzzard but I was just wondering whether if you're going to use energy melee, is et/gloom/tf/gloom still the best chain. You're right, of course, about EP, will have to do some number crunchin and see what's what.

No. I remember original release Khels with their massive -damres if solo bullshit. I remember being one-shotted by quantums. I remember screaming on the forums for years. Sentinels are tankmages on their own. Compared to release date Khels they might as well be an "I Win" button.

@Coyote Is TF the only way to build up stored nrg? My grav/dom is 100% ranged at I see that go off every now and then but don't understand the mechanism for building it.

Is EM 100% unique amongst all power sets for this? Or can empaths also kill themselves with Absorb Pain?

I enjoy them both for different reasons but I'd lean toward rad for all the extra AoE.

Or just nerf the hell out of the existing values applied to said incarnate powers. Considering that people are now planning builds around the lowest values of powers like barrier, you're of course correct in that the gnashing of teeth and thread after thread of rage will no doubt be rather epic.

I've got a rad/em tank. I've also got a bio/em tank. Are they gonna win any pylon damage awards? Nahh, hell no. But EM still has some of the best animations and sound effects in the game. Sometimes performance doesn't matter nearly as much as fun. Edit: Oh.. but wait, there's more. I just built another em/fire brute to take my main villain back to his original powerset combo instead of being a dm/inv brute. He's gonna suck so bad!

I've never wanted to hit my wife and she's only wanted to punch the shit outta me a couple times in almost 20 years... so we're doin good!

And for those calling for vet rewards nerfs on others, let's not forget that the HC team have already supplied us with two massive nerfs. One that cut base XP in half in AE and another that removed double inf when XP is disabled. When is it going to be enough for yall? Not until AE is removed from the game? By the by, alt door sitter hit lvl 30 in just under an hour farming DA repeatables. This includes travel time so my 2 hour to 38 may be overestimated by a bit. I'll finish that up later. Stuff to do. Should we get rid of the DA repeatables as well? Nerf level shifts? Nerf the incarnate powers themselves? Hell, at this point, the sidekick system itself seems awfully suspect! I'm unsure how much longer it takes me to get a new alt from 1 to 38 with it door sitting while I farm DA repeatables at max diff with BZB Scrap... I should test that. I know it only takes me 7 maps of the fire farm. 45 mins or so. I suspect with all the extra travel involved, my WAG would be around 2 hours to 38.

Only 39 now. He's got a ways to go but I'll learn more this time by actually playing him instead of just slappin a build together at 50 and knowing nothing. So far? He ain't no scrapper. Feels a lot more like a ST blaster with good mez protection but I see where I can still lean on shockwave for aoe at least.

Which is why all my farming to PL new alts is hands on. I get the same cathartic relaxation clearing Brigg's farm as I do soloing an ITF or hammering out DA repeatables. Hmmm.... might say something about my mental state when slaughtering enemies by the thousands brings peace to my mind.

Still having difficulty with no spin and eviscerate being changed to single target. This thing better end up with some crazy good pylon times.

How could I be anything but Bill Z Bubba? HC BZB#1 still lives on Torchbearer. HC BZBs 2, 3 and 4 all live on Excel. Got some name holders out there too. Plus another 70 or so alts.

On this, I'd still like the ability to convert threads into emps. As it stands, they can only be used after a certain point to buy from Luna. Just on my 2 heaviest hitters, BZB Scrap is sitting on almost 1900 threads and 13 T4s. Granted, he DOES have 666 vet levels. He's killed a lot of enemies. Point being, even the thread drop rate from defeats is pretty dang high. My farmer, on the other hand, only has 750 threads but she's been used to buy huge insps and ultimates from Luna and that 2nd account is currently sitting with 3 Transcendents in email with that number only destined to climb higher. As per the spreadsheet, I have 6 characters fully T4ed and another 5 fully T3ed. (Again, I know, I'm a prime example of which Apparition speaks.) But shouldn't we be able to use the threads for more than just an inf dump after a bin is full of insps and we have all the incarnate powers we'll ever want?

I suspect that all those folks suffering from altitus would probably throw a rod were that to come to pass. I also suspect it would just lead to more people farming the hell out of Heather's arc in DA. While I'm definitely in the camp seeing the rather rabid effects of power creep in the game, I also think that ship has sailed completely and I sure as hell wouldn't want to go back to the incredibly solo-UNfriendly incarnate progress scheme we had before the snap.
