  1. Import/Export Export Build to Beta - it'll ask where your installation is and it creates a new directory under Data Log into Beta, use Freebies menu, Import MRB or something like that, brings up popmenu with two options, 1st grabs first 70 enhs, 2nd grabs the rest.
  2. Been back to soloin from 1 to 50 instead of PLing alts and I'm finding that it means I'm slotting at least the unique IOs as soon as I'm allowed. SOs end up getting replaced by lowish level sets. Often just grabbing whatever is in my base bins. If I already have a build to follow on the way up, I'll use the non-purple set that correlates in buff values to the purple set I plan to use at 50.
  3. Yup. https://cod.uberguy.net./html/modifiers-table.html?mod=default You're looking for melee_damage and range_damage and 1 = 55.6102 at level 50
  4. Brutes are .75 for melee and range. Tanks are .95 and .8 for melee and range. Scrappers are 1.125 and .5 for melee and range. No, none of that makes any damn sense. At least as per the HC wiki and CoD. CoD, at least, should be mostly accurate. Mashugana. it's kind of a mess with the 4 melee archetypes right now. Stalkers are the kings of ST damage, generally have lousy AoE damage but are generally as sturdy as scrappers. Scrappers will dish out more damage than brutes and tanks, have the same base values for mitigation as brutes except for base hitpoints where brutes have more. Brutes will dish out more damage than tanks but have less hitpoints while having tank caps for mitigation. The fact that the base values are the same as scrappers, however, means that in most cases, they'll have to be teamed with buffers to see those caps hit. This is also true for their much higher damage cap. Unless they're chugging red inspirations, of course. Tanks do the least amount of damage per attack (ignoring fury which we can't ignore) but have buffs to AoE sizes and max # of targets hit. The base values on their armors are 25% better than their cousins.
  5. I'm pretty sure that you're well aware that soloing has ALWAYS been BadWrong, a blight upon this fine MMO and the primary cause of everything wrong in the world.
  6. And being able to import from Mids to get all the enhs in your tray is really handy.
  7. AS is AoE. DB is ST. As for actual times, AS animation 2.933 with arcanacast time of 3.168 DB animation 2.667 with arcanacast time of 2.904. So yea, it is slower but can hit 10X the number of enemies.
  8. I always dig it when I see other forum dwellers in game.
  9. It is fun. Soloing a PB at very low diff right now through content. It's fun. I like being reminded that something else in this game can feel good even if it's not optimized to slaughter +4 AVs. My Khels will never be able to pull off what some of my melee characters are capable of. But they can still be fun as hell to play. Only question I have at that point is why I have to play at half the diff of my melee characters to look cool. I don't consider that balanced. Guess I'm in the nerf 'em all to hell group.
  10. Incarnates won't matter during a Manticore. Forced exemplar means powers will cap out 40. But huge numbers of alts and attempting to get TFC on them all is going to mean a playerbase full of people that have memorized maps, mission goals, next zone, add in everybody sportin all the team ports, no breaks between missions... Sure.. IF everyone but that one poor true level 35 on the team is 100% tricked out IO-wise, then MAYBE they might feel under-utilized. But even that I doubt. Usually such teams are also rocking tons of leadership, meaning even if they're fighting +5s, they're going to be hitting, contributing, etc.
  11. There's always soloing.
  12. Whatever did happen to that Nemesis Horse?
  13. It's for brutes, so should be easy to translate.
  14. Feel like I should note that my sd/nrg tank is my best soloist. It's a particularly brutal combo against AVs. While a brute and scrapper of the same might dish out more damage, I have to wonder if the lessened mitigation would slow them down. Been kind of wary of finding out, to be honest. Edit: Granted, in my brain right now "solo" is defined as fastest solo ITF or other AV laden TFs. BZB scrap still kicks the crap out of anything else I have laying waste in DA repeatables.
  15. Cuz shield locks you out of claws and dual blades. 😞
  16. And now I'm talking myself out of SR/Rad because of all the goodies that come with /Dark. My problem with dark is I always end up back with the all left-handed combo of MG, SL, Gloom, Smite, repeat for ST.
  17. SR/Rad? I only ask because I just rolled one up the other day, pondering how with SR I always miss a damage aura, which RM grants with IG, and the occasional heal from RS will be nice. I have no idea how the AoE compares between Rad and Dark Melee, though. Used to not be a question, but the change to ToF in DM and SM's larger cone, made even larger with tank buffage, has me wondering.
  18. CoD seems to imply that the defense is enhanceable, as it's missing the lock for ignores enhancement. Mids appears to be thinking that it does if you hit two or more. https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=scrapper_defense.ice_armor.energy_absorption&at=scrapper Granted, ain't much. But I was more thinking of finding a way to get some end reduction in there.
  19. That's debatable. It's what I shoot for but I've seen better ST times with fu, focus, slash, shockwave, repeat and on scrappers, eviscerate has a higher than normal crit rate that can be leveraged against the Crit Strike's proc. Gassian in Followup sounds awesome, but at 1 PPM, it's not. You could stick another damage proc in there and you might get more out of it but that'll be something to test. Biggest thing jumping out at me, and others will need to speak on it, is Energy Absorption. That's where Ice gets its extra defense from. As it is, you'll be firing it off every 20 sec for almost 13 end. That's gonna eat your bar pretty fast.
  20. Not a badger, not sure, but I'd seriously doubt it.
  21. Truth. I bust out my claws/bio when I know I'm going to team. Sure, he can solo, but it's a high-clicky and stressful ride. Probably why I lean tank these days. Can slip into autopilot mode and never worry about green and blue bars.
  22. I see it much more than I used to across the board and even more so on characters with debuffs. The amount of runners my dark/stone scrapper sees is quite the PITA.
  23. Copied my main over and built ageless radial to kill any gap I had between slash and followup. 2:51 2:46 3:17 Ugh. Ugly run.
  24. My "me" character shares my skin tone. The rest range cross the globe (or dimension, I do have a ton of devils and demons,) race-wise. I'd have to say I'm far more sexist than racist in my character design. The female to male ratio is heavily weighted to the female side.
  25. Sittin on beta with a db/bio scrapper running empower, ss, repeat. Getting around 1:20 to 1:40 on pylons. Times are being hurt by the need to fire off DNA Siphon from time to time. And by that damn rikti gunboat. Really don't know about the Gaussian CFBU in BF. At 1PPM, it's just not firing off that often. Also nowhere near the damage cap so Assault Core should be the way to go. All in all, was interesting to see and I may look at Empower, SS instead of BF, AS, SS on my db/nrg scrapper. Here's the build. I'll be stickin with my standard way of doing things. I'm not pushin out the big numbers but the builds feel much more stable.
