  3. Maybe? I run FU, Spin, Shockwave, repeat on my scrapper. (Fu, Focus, Spin, SW, repeat on the brutes and tanks.) And, no, I don't proc out any of them. Feels dirty and wrong. Even more so now that I ran that fire/rad/soul tank through Trapdoor.
  4. Same unless I'm on my farmer which does use combine\use macros. Probably why I hate using them.
  5. Watched Help channel some last night. There was a discussion regarding brute vs tanker. I chose not to get involved even with the misinformation being stated and instead set it back to my general tab. Seemed like the far saner course of action.
  6. Spin recharges in 9.2 versus Leap's 40. They use the same sets so same number of procs with Leap's higher base recharge improving the chances for procs. Leap's radius is 15' vs Spin's 8'. Leap's average damage per Mids is 121 vs spin's 41. Same # targets hit but higher chance to hit that 10 with Leap. So 3x the damage but 25% up as often? Going tricked out on recharge, spin drops to 2.4 secs, so comparable recharge on Leap drops it to 10 secs. Ratio stays the same. Seems a wash to me.
  7. One more reason why claws will always be superior to savage. Except on stalkers. C'mon, devs, just swap out stalker eviscerate for spin. It ain't rocket surgery.
  8. On my db/nrg scrap, I don't even see the orange circles because I only use BF, SS, AS for ST and BF, SS, TE for AoE. I would like to know why DB's combos no longer need to hit to function but StJ's system still requires a hit to build. My hatred of multiple animations for a single attack is long stated. It's why I won't play TW. I still play NrgMelee because even with the long and short ET animations in play, it's so ridiculously over the top running Long-ET, TF, Short-ET, Moonbeam/Gloom, BS, repeat that I can't NOT play it. Looking at the other sets in question... I either don't play them at all or as with DB, I just ignore the combos. I'm probably just old and stuck in my ways. Get off my lawn.
  9. I'm confused about something. Both our SR tanks have the full set of Reactive Defenses in Focused Fighting, but your build shows FF at 35.25% Melee while mine shows 29.14%. Oh, I see... Musc Radial is buffing your defense in Mids even though it isn't supposed to. Regardless, build looks good to me.
  10. Sloppy and quick build. 3:15 pylon. 5:15 Trapdoor. fire/rad/soul tank, hybrid assault and ageless core were used. Almost 2 mins faster on trapdoor than my main claws/sr scrap but around 30 seconds slower on pylons.
  11. Back on topic... regarding rad melee, since RSiphon and DBlow have such ludicrous cast times, any reason not to go with just Gloom, CS, RSmash, CS, repeat for the ST chain?
  12. Yup, nerf it all. Cut all proc damage to 25% of its current value. Change the MotT DR proc from 6.7% resist to all to 3.35% resist and 1.675% def to all, still stackable 3 times. Cut ALL set bonuses by 50%. Change all destiny powers to be the lowest value they provide for the full time. Triple the cooldown on judgement. Make ED and the GDN look on with awe. Edit: And for Satan's sake, nuke all level shifts from the entire game. Yea, I know, none of the above will be done. Ain't gonna stop me from pointing out when something's grossly frelled. Irradiated Ground, Sent Mind Probe vs every other Sent APP, Rune of Protection, etc, etc. All things that *could* be and arguably *should* be fixed but probably won't ever be touched so we're left with "Here's your choice: Concept and suck or go with that one broken power/powerset/at over everything else because it's just that much better. Now if you'll excuse me, there's a new fire/rad/soul tank that needs my attention. I'm gonna build me some sickly broken shit.
  13. And the dark novae (maybe the crabs, too) are heavy on slows so if you rely on clicks for mitigation, it can get nasty.

  16. That's as is at lvl .. now 34, using nothing but SOs except for the procs in IG and perfshifters in QR and Stamina. I'm sure it will be even stupider later on based on the times people are showing here. As for game breaking... again, based on what's being shown in this thread and others, I disagree. I think procs are absolutely broken and need to be nerfed all to hell.
  17. No clue. Others in this thread will know better than I. I'm only speaking to Irradiated Ground itself and how it attempts to fire off every proc every 5 seconds due to how it refreshes the patch. When your damage aura alone is out-damaging your single target attack chain, something is frelled.

    I went melee with a dark/sr sent. In the end, the fighting pool attacks and even Air Sup make no sense damage-wise when I can still fight in melee with the blasts and be more effective. I really wanted to go Midnight Grasp/Darkest Night but since whoever put together the EPP for Sents was obviously smoking crack at the time and gave MG a 34 second base recharge, so it sadly also makes no sense to go with anything but Mind Probe. Which blows because Summon Mistress would have also been pretty cool for the concept. I truly hope the devs completely rework Sent EPPs when they rework the AT.

  20. I never did get into the speed runs for Heather's arc. Always cleared all at +(whatever I could deal with)/x8 for the iXP to unlock the incarnates and then more for the extra emp merits that come from vet lvls. Granted, I'm apparently a murderous bastich.
  21. Have to take CJ for immobilize protection. Have to slot multiple KB protection IOs. Have to slot recharge debuff protection. The more I play non-defense based armors the more I appreciate almost never being hit by debuffs.
  22. Tried out Rad Melee - Irradiated Ground with 4 damage procs on a Wp/Rad tank. That is amazingly broken.
  23. No way, man! Kin's secondary effect is damage debuff! That's far too much mitigation. 🙂
  24. Any mitigation from an attack set will benefit any other armor just as well as it benefits regen but I agree that perceptions can be colored when leaning on such mitigation. That's why I'm testing with a fire/regen brute and SOs. I'll be giving up on the SO side of things very shortly since I'll need every possible edge to make up for all of regen's weaknesses.
