I'd be for ramping up the +Regeneration of Triage Beacon for the sake of shorter deployment time, so it can be used more frequently as the combat pace usually makes it very unreliable to use. And even if you got a slower paced team, the current value (+150%) wouldn't make a big difference either other than dealing with chip damage.

So, with P5 out and such, have there been changes in the builds?

Focused Feedback: Robotics Revamp
Paradox Fate replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
I'd say you still should do it - Find the weakest/least amount of -regen debuff secondary and record a few GW/AV fights with it. The more you pile the evidence up, the less they can argue against the changes. -

Here's a list with the other reworked MM Henchmen and the other ones for reference. As usual, made with Level 50 EndRedux IO's and only letting them attack with their own powers and no buffs given other than their upgrades. -

I did a quick test on the bots on Beta regarding Endurance and had them shoot on dummies. Tests were made with no IO's in them, one Level 50 Endredux IO and then 2x Level 50 Endredux, with having both Equip and Upgrade Robot on them. No other buffs affected them other than their own. The time is listed when they were 'tapped out' on Endurance, which took a major hit on their attack rate after that. The Battle Drones were holding out the longest, even with half of their Endurance left after 4 Minutes in with 1x IO, while they were above 90% at all times with 2x IO's in them. -

Is the endurance consumption on the bots on-par with the minions of the other sets now, or just a tad over the top due to the increased rate of attacks they can dish out per minute? -
Yeah, this was made shortly before P5 came out so I guess now it's playing the waiting game until they finally finished the beta testing. But thanks anyway! 🙂

Found the Cryogenicists surprisingly beefy as bosses, given it's just a lab coat with a gun.

Is there any more recent build for this one around?

During Part Three: Coming Together and Finale: Unstoppable Force the Apocalypse Beam will fully damage the player even when being under the protection bubble made by Penelope Yin and Numina. Even the buff bar shows the status effect but doesn't do anything to stop the damage, basically 2-shotting you every minute as the first beam brings you down to 1 HP and one-shotting you during the Final Mission.
-
I certainly wouldn't mind a small amount of status protection that comes with the minion upgrade powers. As much some of our secondary powersets are helping out at times, I prefer to have them some on their own so they don't get completely locked down by attacks like earthquakes and the kind.

Not a fan of it either to be honest. I just go with 50k bids now in UC salvage to save me the troubles.

Is it possible to have some alternative animations regarding a few powers in the Poison Powerset? Mainly for : Envenom, Weaken and Neurotoxic Breath. Spitting that stuff out is in terms of theme not ideal at times, if making sense at all. So perhaps having Envenom and Weaken be grenades to be thrown (instead of a explosion, they just poof like smoke 'nades or shatter like glass. Or both, one using each of them to differentiate) and NB pulling out a gun for a quick spray or something. So we can have something else than being a barfer. Even when people like to barf at others. 😶

Once you defeat the Shivan Monster in the Galaxy City Tutorial, you tend to receive a teleport effect/animation with the message <Arachnos/Longbow Teleporter Active!> and get landed towards your alignment extraction point. However, it is missing now and you just get shwooped to the extraction point without said effect and animation in a brief phase out of your character.

The tutorial text in Galaxy City still doesn't match most of the spoken lines - Will that be fixed some day?

I don't think they are required, but they can harass your backline easily. And the bosses also can summon additional cogs before they go down, so you got half a handful of smaller things you have to deal with. With each boss.
-
I believe it's also the sheer amount of clockwork we have to bash. I don't mind them, per se, though they are just annoying to deal with when it comes to the defeat-alls when one has to also deal with those small gears which the boss ones spawn upon their death after a few seconds. You always have to wait for them to spawn and kills your momentum. And that eats a lot of time after a while.

Star Allergies: Causes, means to address?
Paradox Fate replied to MTeague's topic in General Discussion
Same. Tried kicking off a Operative Renault SF due to it being the Red Side Weekly Strike Target. In two of three cases throughout the week, I received no reply at all when forming them. I figure it was due to the ITF being the far more attractive option, but I cannot help myself to wonder at times why I even bother. -
Discussion: Improvements to the Warriors
Paradox Fate replied to Piecemeal's topic in Developer's Corner
Figure Odysseus would have not taken the Rise of the Incarnates and his defeat during the Mortimer Kal Strike Force so well, as it probably diminishes his power of influence with his group since we have gained a much higher level of power than he and his Warriors ever will. I can think he would dabble in more artifacts that have been somehow connected to the Well of Furies in a more drastic attempt to re-establish themselves and have his more bold men volunteer to see how they react towards it, with varying amounts of success. -
Unless its actually incarnate progress that old characters can pursue only in that zone, they'd just remain in PI and beat up the Council. No one goes to DA anymore for endless missions, it's too troublesome to fight against the groups there.

So, how about a low-level Strike Force?
Paradox Fate replied to Paradox Fate's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Given it's Port Oakes, I figured you get involved with the Family vs Mooks. "For a long time, the leaders of the Family and the Mooks have feuded against each other over the Goverment control of Port Oakes, but suddenly there is a chance for a compromise. A few parties, however, are not keen on this development and send you in to sabotage their relations and reignite the flames of grudges - Be it for money, fame or just enjoying the carnage!" -
As you noticed, Red Side is lacking of anything of a Strike Force before level 15. And even then, you tend to run Tarikoss as a level 20 anyway. To compare, Blue Side has two Task Forces and a Trial before level 15, which adds a lot of replayability and more targets for the WST. So it would be nice that Red Side gets a level 8 -15 Strike Force in Port Oakes, so they get something to be busy with and team up for quick XP/merits, some replayability due to badges and being a WST for players to come back to. In terms of mission size we could copy Positron TF's - 7 or so missions, 12 merits. EB's or AV fight at the last mission. Regarding DFB and DiB to be used instead: They lack reasons for higher leveled players to come back to after getting the badges, plus getting groups for those is hard enough for Red Side. I tried. Even on prime time at a Saturday, I only got 6 people for it on Mercy. And honestly, I kinda get exhausted of running DFB all the time. Thoughts?

Unslotting them requires merits or money. And the enhancements/their recipes need to be bought and/or crafted, of which most players don't commit to for the reason I posted above. Too much of a investment for some alt that might not survive the trip to 50. Slap a Zephyr at the travel power of your choice and be done with it. IO's are fine starting at 22, and before that you can just use Offense/Defense/Survival Amps that cost you 1k/hour when hitting the vendor at level 1.
