That all goes back to feeling guilty. Assassin for the government is no different than soldier. Yes, they all had moral qualms with what they did, hence the feeling of guilt. If however we go with the idea that just building weapons makes one guilty, then any who make weapons are free game on being taken out by those morally opposed to their weapon making (Quicksilver and Wanda), and yet they didn't go after the factories, which would've been far worse for Tony.
-
By your logic, every soldier should feel guilty and be a criminal. Natasha did her job for her government. She later does the same things for another government and she's a hero. Tony built weapons. That is neither illegal or criminal now is grounds to be guilty, or else you have to say everyone involved in the making of such weapons are guilty. Tony felt guilty seeing what those weapons did first hand and because they got into enemy hands (biggest reason). He felt responsible because he didn't control his own company, Stane had more control of his company than he did, due to Tony trusting him.
-
More, o Peter Parker wasn't required to help. He felt guilty for it because he could've easily stopped it. He however, was not guilty of any crime. Being a weapon manufacturer isn't illegal, criminal or evil. Tony seeing what his weapons did to those on his side and innocent people, had him feeling guilty. He was never criminal. I'm not saying genius always make good choices, but the one she's making is obviously bad. She knows it's bad, but she's doing it anyways, because she's under the misguided ideology, that it's okay to hurt and rob others if it means she gets what she wants.
-
Irredeemable? No. Of course not. Still, her reasoning for a genius is terrible. She's not someone without options. She's someone with options, she just doesn't like the speed of those options. Though, that said, Peter's redemption, he really didn't do anything wrong (though, I don't think MCU Peter went this route). Tony didn't do anything wrong either. Just because he felt guilty, is a different thing, but everything he did was legal and he didn't personally fire the weapons. Scott was Robin Hood, stealing from a company that stole from it's employees, then went back into crime, to get an item from a killer. Natasha worked for her government. Bruce Banner, has he had deaths, not sure that's been shown in the MCU, however, the property damage is usually linked to him getting attacked and him getting away. Harlem? That was him cleaning up Ross's mess.
-
And Tony didn't fire them off, did he? Not to mention, Steve says they're fighting for their country.
-
He wasn't a criminal tho. Not to mention, he made the weapons and sold them legally to those who were allowed to use them. He didn't directly kill anyone. Not to mention, Riri seems to have skipped that part of Tony's history. Knowing the suits will be turned into weapons. It's why Tony kept that one invention to himself. She wants to mass produce them.
-
To be fair, it doesn't mean it can't be a good show. Plenty of popular shows about some terrible people and I wouldn't call Riri as terrible as some of those shows (and they're not about supes). However, I do get facepalm with Riri on this one personally, because she's not some average or even above average person with a lack of option. She has options and for what she's said she's wanted (which she hasn't said she wants to be a superhero).
-
Nothing in the show says "I want to be a superhero" infact, being a criminal would say other wise. She says she wants to give the armor to the world.
-
They're going to throw money at her because she invented an Iron Man suit and still has access to it.
-
And with that, I'm still saying it's so far, okay. It's just that I'm not really feeling sympathy for her.
-
No blank check, sure, but she'd get paid, could build up her funds like everyone else, and she'd be making more than others. Instead she said "Screw it. Rob from people with some possible murder. But then I'm out." She had other options besides the crime.
-
And that's the part I gotta disagree with. Social issues is not thrown in her way. She's thrown in her way. She tries to make it about money, but she's a genius, who any company would hire and give her exactly what she needs to build what she says she wants to build. Her social issues of not being a billionaire to fund her projects, is on her. She'd get the grants to build those armors easily. It's a false "Oh...but I grew up the way I did!" issue. She doesn't even say, "Well, I want to own it all and not share it with anyone." Her whole thing was "I want to give this armor to the world!" Which, you know, genius Tony Stark knew was a bad idea. And her way to deal with it...become a criminal. It might make for interesting character, but someone needs to call her out on it. 😛

Fixing Vengeful Slice on dual blades
BrandX replied to WindDemon21's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Exactly. I soloed ITF with no Incarnates with a DB/WP Scrapper back on live. I know BF > Attack Vitals > Repeat isn't the best of the best DPS, but it was enough for me to solo AVs and solo an ITF. I think people hate on it a little to much. That said, I do agree I'd like Vengeful Slice (who's animation I personally don't want changed as I love it) needs a damage boost. -
Fixing Vengeful Slice on dual blades

Eh, I'd rather see it become good enough that BF > Attack Vitals competes with the top spot for ST DPS. Have a set that doesn't require godly amounts of recharge to still be a top contender. -
Yes, but her's is stupid in the fact that any company would hire her easily and she didn't learn from Tony...you don't give the armor to the world. The world WILL turn it into a weapon to use on everyone. There's a reason Tony didn't give the armor to everyone.

Fixing Vengeful Slice on dual blades

I to believe it's damage should be improved, but I've soloed AVs with Attack Vitals Combo. -
This is wrong and just his way of getting people to like his posts. Echo was WORSE. Echo still maintains the honor of worst MCU show.

Here's my new build after some more playing and reworking... Dominator (Pyrotechnic Control - Arsenal Assault).mbd
-
Yeah, have to say, there is no reason she wouldn't have some bank rolling and so far, her hooking up with the group she does, doesn't make sense, as obviously she has a lack of morals to not hook up with just any company willing to pay the way. She may have good intentions, but so far, the situation doesn't make sense. Also, I don't think she realizes there was a reason Tony didn't give the armor to the world and she's obviously not seeing it (hint...the world would take that tech and make war machines, not help people).

Further Note: Level 50, only limit was no Ancillary/Patron powers. It turned Aura of Insanity off.
-
It appears to get disabled from use in Ouroboros missions when one things like AT Only Powers, Player Debuffed, and such is selected. I took the power at level 28, and doing eliminate clockwork king (and other flashback missions) and I lose access to Aura of Insanity. Also sent in support tickets in game, to let this bug be known.
-
This is the combo I'm going with. This is the build I have so far, skipping the melee of Arsenal, seeing as how Pyro seems to be very range centric. Dominator (Pyrotechnic Control - Arsenal Assault).mbd
-
Besides working with concept so well...Fear and Confuse Protection with +Perception. -Regen in Devour Psyche to help with those tough targets. And while I haven't tested out the new Cloak of Fear in Dark Armor, Aura of Insanity is just love 🙂 It's mez seems effective. I never felt that way with Dark Armor's Fear or Stun (and I stacked the stun with energy melee). You do have to be busy at start tho, as you want to get the buffs up and then keep them refreshed.

EM/PSI/SOUL has now become my favorite.
