I just freed up Catwalk... My idea for that was a rather fierce former-model-turned-assassin in a slinky outfit with little cat ears. Go more ninja tigeress and less Catwoman and it might work.

I'm just going to make Yaliw and Solvera happy... I think I've reached the point of being done with the forums, at least for a while. Being social is just reminding me more and more of all the reasons why I'd rather solo in-game, or stick to running with the family SG. Take care, gang, I'll probably wander back by when the next page hits beta for testing.

Alt is the obvious one, of course. He's never been shy. I'd also put Ohm at least somewhat in that camp as well, since she apparently views what we do as an "exploit". As for anyone else, honestly I rarely keep track of names. If you take a stroll through any of the other, older threads, I'm sure you could assemble a list just as easily as I could. It's a common enough sentiment to have made an impression.

Lumi... There are plenty of regulars in these threads who hate that farming exists in the game on principle. You know that as well as I do. The "Anti-farming League" doesn't have to be some shadowy, organized cabal any more than the "Dev Crew Cheering Squad" does... It's just humorous shorthand for the members of the gang who'd love to see the practice removed as an option. You can't honestly tell me those opinions don't exist and haven't been made crystal clear.

Perfectly fine when min/max types do similar tuning outside of AE to trivialize the majority of the game, though. That's just "playing the game as intended", right? 😜

Heh. I suspect that most of us realize full well at this point just how unwelcomed a presence we are. It's not like the Anti-farming League have been at all shy about their opinions.

It might be better just to make it an option to go one way or the other, like the shadow form's eyes.... You pick up the MiniMe power and then can either set it to use the Big Head-mode or an alternate with more normal proportions. Personally, I'd be pretty sore about having to grind out 250 more PAPs just to get a second mini transformation with a normal-sized head if I'd *already* gone through that to purchase the current MiniMe on a character, only to find out after-the-fact that the bobble-head was a total spoiler.

For what it's worth... I prefer your version of She to Circus-P's. The starker, cleaner sound works better for that song. The remix isn't bad, but to my ear it's too cluttered, and too far into "over-produced pop-song"-territory in comparison to the original. But then, I'm a drummer. We're known to sometimes have odd ideas about music. 😄

I know absolutely nothing about Vocaloid... But I like the song. I can imagine bouncing around a zone and hunting to it.

I tend to do that, too... 'Finish one character (with their enhancements and their iToys and all that-) before I start a new one. It's unusual for me to have more than one "in progress" at a time. When people tell me they have three dozen alts and only two or three of them are anywhere close to being done I just kind-of mentally o_O and wonder how that doesn't drive them absolutely batty.

I'm a zen-mode farmer and a notoriously devoted prezzie-clicker... I can do "focused and repetitive" really well. 😝

I'll never use it with anyone but Snickerdoodles... But for making a cat character cat-sized? It just works. I could see it working out pretty well for imps, goblins and house elves, too, potentially. Weird little aliens? Other types of small animals? That said, even with the two-PAPs-for-each-new-badge thing, leagues that have been supportive of what I was doing cycling through my characters and a sizable number of alts capable of ToTing well, getting 250 of the things was definitely a grind. Better than getting 1200 (the original proposed price of the MIniMe-), certainly... But still not what I would call fun for its own sake.

*giggles* ,,, Or Snickers, as the case may be. So, I may have been grinding my alts through the ToT leagues to get the new badges and attendant PAPs. Resulting in my tiny witch cat actually getting to be tiny. Oddly, the out of proportion head sort of works with her ears and hat.

It would be a whole lot simpler to have something like the Hero merits that we could just mail to ourselves.

That doesn;t help when most of your characters getting the things are on one server and the intended recipient is on another. *eyes her crew on Ev and her cat-girl on Torch*

It's been pretty much stated outright that the... let's say "non-obsessive" members of the player community... are not the target audience for the higher-tier rewards. They're out there for the grind-a-rific types. Not for those of us with lives. 😝

Way to have the point sail right over your head.... It's not that things *can't* be soloed by anyone with a character built for it... I can wave my proverbial epeen around, too. I haven't had any trouble with the EBs so far. My annoyance with them is just the TIME they take... It's that for a certain segment of Forum Regulars, the instant response to any argument or issue a soloist has is "OMG! Just join a team!" That's not the Universal Solution you think it is.

*shrugs* I'm not going to begrudge bug fixes on either side of the issue. Advantage, disadvantage, whatever. Sorry if that doesn't fit the narrative you want to build about us evil, crybaby farmers, Ohm.

This is far from the only thing that you lot have gone all "BUT YOU SHOULD TEEEEAM! OMG! How dare you want to solo in an MMO?!?"-about and you know it, PF. It's getting damned old.

Heaven forbid some of us might actually prefer to solo...

I was running the Aegis of Serenity, my Illusion Controller, for a little while this afternoon with one of the Everlasting motel leagues and noticed the same thing with her. If she was the one who clicked the door, the goons would sail right past not only her phantasm and phantoms to get to her, they'd basically ignore everyone else in front of the door to do it. I took to knocking, and then bouncing back over everyone's heads to the far side of the cluster, pretty much dragging the goons right through the middle of the league for fast shredding. They didn't give up their focus on murdering Aegis until someone with higher threat attacked them.

At only two missions, it's a little shorter than usual, but still good fun. I also liked the patrols in mission 2. They're great for the zen thing and *unlike* patrols on the Atta cave map, there's really no way they can end up patrolling their way behind you.
