  1. Also, a key fact is that Willpower has now been brought up from its old 2.5 second duration on Tankers (and Brutes).
  2. No worries. I don’t care where ideas come from, so long as they work with the overall idea of what we are discussing (which yours definitely does).😁
  3. I spend far more time below Incarnate levels in PUGs that spam AoE immobilizes, Knockbacks and additional mob aggro pulls (to name a few).😁
  4. In teams, all of you can do as you like. If I am tanking, then I will get that aggro.😉

  13. The only thing I dislike about Carnies is the phasing annoyance, however, I do love me some Malta.
  14. Martial Arts/Dark Armor I believe that I am the only one on Homecoming.
  15. Behavioral Adjustment Facility would likely be easier to form up first. It takes less people than Hamidon and I believe that we can pull it off.
  16. I find that it’s much easier to simply adapt to the team. Whether the mobs are clumped up or scattered, I’ll get that aggro.
  17. It was broken on test for a while due to the T1-T2 attack switch (that has since been backed out), however, it worked just fine on live servers when I played with mine the day before yesterday.
  18. As someone that tends to PUG a lot on my Tankers (and Brutes), I have to say that the current rush to kill mentality does sharpen ones tanking skills in both building and play.😁
  19. This can definitely come in handy if you happen to have a good bit of Knockback on your team.
  20. That is definitely something to consider and the Devs can look into that if they show any interest in the concept.
  21. This is also good advice if you can find the room for the second Taunt IO.
  22. Honestly, those changes will make Tanking with Willpower feel like cruise control. 😁

With Caulderone’s build above, I would drop the Invisibility pool completely (it’s really only being used as two mule powers), move combat jumping a tad further down the build and move taunt somewhere between 14-20. Also, take a look at some of those Luck of the Gambler slots being used in the Defensive sets. You may be able to play around with those to both have the Defense that you want plus have a slot to that Shield Wall Proc later in the build. Bear in mind that I build with Exemplaring in mind, so you can certainly pick up Taunt later in the build if you prefer. That build is an excellent starting point; load it into the Planner and adjust it to taste.
  24. While looking for ways to obtain influence, this is a good place to start.
  25. As a proponent of Willpower Tanking (mine is also WP/StJ), I have two suggestions. 1. Place a Taunt IO in Rise to the Challenge. It has the lowest taunt magnification and duration of all of the aggrieved auras and really benefits well from this. 2. Take Taunt. It’s an invaluable power for controlling aggro and should not be left out on a Tanker.
