  1. Special Ports: It would be nice to see something akin to Poison, Radiation Emission, and Storm Summoning be ported to Manipulation sets. It would be nice to see a Dual Blades / Dual Pistols Assault set It would be nice to see a Katana / Archery Asssault set It would be nice to see a Super Strength type Assault set It would be nice to see a Beam Rifle / War Mace Assault set (similar to Arachnos Soldier maybe a little too much...) I heard that there was data for Wind Control blowing on the breeze... Really Special Ports: It would be nice to see something done with the Beast Mastery / Savage Assault ranged set Kinda missing Sonic Melee Water Melee anyone? Poison or Temporal Melee using some of the Poison and/or Temporal Manipulation powers? Okay, I may have gone a tad off topic, sorry.
  2. Lets take a look: Armor sets: Brute lacks Ninjitsu. Scrapper has all power set choices. Sentinel lacks Shield. Stalker has all power sets. Tank lacks Energy Aura, Ninjitsu, and Regeneration. - Regeneration definitely needs to be ported to Tank. - Shield should probably be ported to Sentinel. - Ninjitsu should probably be ported to Brute. - Energy Aura should probably be ported to Tank. - I am 50/50 about porting Ninjitsu to Tank Assault sets: Dominator only - Nothing to port Blast sets: all sets are already available on Blaster, Corruptor, Defender, & Sentinel - Nothing to port Control sets: all sets are already available on Controller and Dominator - Nothing to port Manipulation sets: Blaster only - Nothing to port Melee sets: Scrapper lacks Super Strength. Stalker lacks Battle Axe, Super Strength, Titan Weapons, and War Mace (they have Ninja Blade as their unique version of Katana). - Definitely port Super Strength to both Scrapper and Stalker - Battle Axe and War Mace should probably be ported to Stalker as they already have Staff Fighting. - Titan Weapons I am 50/50 on porting as Rend Armor could easily be converted to the Assassin's Strike attack, and it would be hilarious to think about TW stalkers... Summon sets: Mastermind only - Nothing to port Support sets: all sets are already available on Controller, Corruptor, Defender, and Mastermind (I am treating Darkness Affinity and Dark Miasma as equivalent) - Nothing to port I don't think restricting sets from other ATs is a good way to define existing ATs. Since proliferation is a relatively low investment for a high impact, I would definitely say the green sets should be ported ASAP whereas the yellow and orange sets can be on a whenyougetaroundtoitish schedule. Edit: Portable Sets (in order of Priority) - There are currently ten sets which could be directly ported Super Strength to Stalker Super Strength to Scrapper Regeneration to Tank Shield to Sentinel Ninjitsu to Brute Energy Aura to Tank Battle Axe to Stalker War Mace to Stalker Titan Weapon to Stalker Ninjitsu to Tank
  3. I generally play Vigilante or Rogue, gives me mobility. That being said, I really enjoy the redside missions, the writing is just so much fun! I've leveled a toon through tip-missions, but I definitely like having Null there!
  4. Oh my, I did not know that... I may have to look into a stoned clawer...
  5. You can't do claws with Stone Armor
  6. When I do conversions that I have calculated to average 40, I will get averages between 20 and 60ish over 20 enhancements, but the more enhancements, the closer to 40 the average gets. You will be "lucky" or "unlucky" at times, the reality though is that most players will center on the average if they convert enough.
  7. some people have unhealthy addictions to playing the market... Sometimes I will put bids on Kheldian IOs at level 1 and then if I have a dozen by level 7 I will convert them to the appropriate IOs and slot them. I will take any extras and sell them for profits.
  8. Actually, no. Kheldian ATOs tend to sell for the lowest prices while Blaster ATOs tend to tell for the highest prices. That being said, if they sold at the same price you would still be paying 10% (market fees). That being said, the average cost of converting from a random ATO from a different origin to the exact ATO you want is around 2.5mil (based on purchasing Enhancement Converters for 60k/). The ability to convert to the ATO for your AT would likely cost around 30 ECs. [the average cost to convert normally is (the number of ATs - 1) * 2. As such having it lower than average would cause market repercussions that would likely effect other prices as well.
  9. I could see this working, Not sure if the +recovery and endurance drain protection fit the best, but I would be interested in playing this type of set...
  10. Sounds like the Duo The Duo (19.06.07.16.09.36) Assault/{Pet/Armor/Support} Partnership: +DMG +ToHit in proximity to pet. Share power effects with pet. The Duo is an AT that is focused on working strongly with a single pet partner and balancing the burden with them.
  11. or Super Speed with practiced use of Momentum...
  12. Also the fifth option requires level 20... Edit: I went to Test, to test mutual exclusivity, and yes, it is still a thing.
  13. Infiltration caps at 92.5 while Super Speed caps at 120.24, so that's 76.9%. 87.652 to 101.802 for Infiltration v Super Jump, so 86%. Jump height on infiltration, expect around 85, and on Super Jump expect about 200, so around 42.5%. It can also mule LotG: +75% Global Recharge, which makes it popular. Also, with the stealth changes, it can now be used with Stealth. With SS+SJ I generally use three slots (one for the stealth proc) and two power selections and expect around .68 endurance consumption. With Infiltration I generally use five slots (3 Winter's Gift, 1 stealth, 1 Thrust, and 1 LotG), and one power selection and expect around .34 endurance consumption. It is viable, but like Flight (post-Travel Speed Update) it feels left behind because they are both so much slower than the the super-pimped out Super Speed with Stealth, Phase, & Momentum while also being almost 20% faster than Super Jump and almost 40% faster than Flight or Infiltration.
  14. I may have posted about this a couple times. That being said, there are three types of sets. "Standard" [Fighting, Leadership, Medicine, Presence] T1a: No prerequisites, available at level 4 T1b: No prerequisites, available at level 4 T2: One power prerequisite, available at level 14 T3a: Two power prerequisite, available at level 14 T3b: Two power prerequisite, available at level 14 Travel [Concealment, Flight, Leaping, Speed, Teleportation] T1a: No prerequisites, available at level 4 T1b: No prerequisites, available at level 4 T1b: No prerequisites, available at level 4 T2a: Two power prerequisite, available at level 14 T2b: Two power prerequisite, available at level 14 Origin [Experimentation, Force of Will, Gadgetry*, Sorcery, Utility Belt*] {* marks currently unreleased sets} T1a: No prerequisites, available at level 4 T1b: No prerequisites, available at level 4 T1b: No prerequisites, available at level 4 T2: Two power prerequisite, available at level 14 T3: Two power prerequisite, available at level 20 † Only one Origin Pool can be selected Would it be better if they followed a standard pattern, yes. Would adjusting them to follow a standard pattern cause power creep, a little.
  15. I have occasionally re-summoned by accident before my pets failed, this leads to a giant whole with no Coralax, Spiderlings, Widow, whatever. With PA, Phantasm, and many other summons, re-summoning dismisses the existing pets. It would be nice if these pets followed the same system.
  16. I am fine with the option, but as there are so few players that are likely to use the "benefit" of this, I think it may not be a good use of coding time.
  17. This idea reminds me of Star Wars Galaxy. It had the ability to respec and all of a sudden you saw tons of toons in the Cantina AFK leveling through dancing. They would then respec to other trees... There isn't an equivalent to "Entertainer" in CoH, but leveling a non-Illusion Troller to 18 and then respeccing into Illusion so that you could skip the pre-PA grind would be very appealing...
  18. Something like that won The Great Archetype Concept Battle: Final Round that I ran a while back. The Duo (19.06.07.16.09.36) Assault/{Pet/Armor/Support} Partnership: +DMG +ToHit in proximity to pet. Share power effects with pet. The Duo is an AT that is focused on working strongly with a single pet partner and balancing the burden with them. @malonkey1 did some testing on it as well, although I haven't seen them around for a minute.
  19. You may wish to take a look at what other posters have done before. I realize that I haven't updated the list in a while, but there is a lot of info and inspiration there. Tactician (19.06.12.13.01.17.01) Pet/Control Attacks of Opportunity: Pets do additional damage to controlled targets. Tacticians focus on disabling enemies for a form of controlled chaos. Dissident (19.08.29.22.14.05) Pet/Control [placeholder]: A set designed to unleash the hordes onto the battlefield. My tag has my Archetype Concept Compilation thread linked so that you can look up what has been thought of before. Again, some more recent proposals have not been added, but it is definitely worth reviewing before proposing new archetypes.
  20. Zepp

    AV/GM killer

My first toon and main since live is Ill/Storm...
  21. Zepp

    AV/GM killer

The biggest problem with Ill/Storm is that all the powers are good... That being said, with the new changes to Stealth I will be picking up both SI and Steamy Mist so I can get solid Invisibility and Defense from SI, Solid Resists from SM, and help my team...
  22. It effects stealth, defense, resistance, and endurance use... Thanks for bringing it up on the Discord. I generally don't open it up, so I am behind on that discussion.
  23. I noticed that there is still an issue with stealth toggles still forcing de-toggle. (I can't check the math for having Superior Invisibility and Steamy Mist on simultaneously).
  24. So, last I tested, the Regen buff was unique and also required activation. So, for example, if you slot it in Rune of Protection, you will only receive the +Regen when you activate Rune of Protection for ten seconds if I remember correctly. It is best placed in a toggle which you use. Status Resistance is passive.
  25. I was just looking through the Coralax abilities for my Troller, and none of them have KB. So I was wondering why it can be slotted for KB...
