  1. I already made my point. 1 person soloing has little to no impact on rewards the league is getting in the raid.
  2. That's a fantastic answer to a question I didn't ask.
  3. That's great! How much XP/Inf/merits are you losing out on from 1 person occasionally pulling a mob off of you?
  4. I think it safe to say everyone here understands how aggro management works. What you're failing to address here is that you're not the only one grabbing aggro. Unless you're trying to say you were the only tank/brute in the entire raid? What about other tankers/brutes on the raid who may have accidentally pulled aggro off of you? Is that ok? Whatever the case, others are pulling aggro to the bowl for your team/league mates to deal with. You're still getting XP/Inf/Merits. 1 solitary person running around the bowl is not taking exorbitant amounts of rewards away from you. There are two sides to every coin. Both people here are playing the game in the way that best suits them and both are right in my opinion.
  5. You're not the only one grabbing aggro on the league and you're assuming the actions of others in the league helping to obtain lost aggro. Even if 1 person was running around like this, how much XP/Inf/VM the league missing out on here? Less than a handful, at best?
  6. Sorry, but 1 person does not have that kind of an impact. Every raid I have ever been on has several tanks/brutes pulling via aggro. If they are worth their salt, keeping aggro should not be an issue.
  7. Wanting to solo due to being on an Oro TF during a Rikti Raid is not "disruptive". The league was already getting far, far more XP, inf, VM etc than someone running solo. The impact is negligible at best.
  8. Not to mention that I know even if they do get knocked back, they'll come back for more pommeling. 😁
  9. My tankers would disagree with you here. They are among my favorite toons to solo with.
  10. Going to go out on a limb here and say that the game isn't "live" anymore, so it's safe to say it's ok to discuss what happened years ago.
  11. Hey if you want to tell others how they should play and do what you want them to, more power to you. I just don't find that necessary. Let people enjoy the game how they want.
  12. So long as they are not deliberately trying to be a jerk and grief people, I don't kick people from teams - knockback or not. I try to keep in mind that others may play differently than me.
  13. Wow. Glad I don't run into people like this during my playtime. Honestly, this game is so easy I just don't see the need to dictate to others how they should "play nice with others". My experience is people do this without any need for special instruction or coaxing from me. Unless someone is truly being a dick and intentionally trying to grief people, then I would act. Otherwise, play how you like and have fun.
  14. I would love it if there were beacons to the PvP zones. I would think it would be possible to put the spawn points in the safe zones.
  15. Demeanor is irrelevant. You're telling them how you want them to play by your definition of what teamwork is and what is fun for you.
  16. This isn't educating someone to be a better player though. It's asking them to play the way you want them to instead of how they want to.
  17. Speak for yourself. Starlord (and Marvel) were around long before the MCU.
  18. It wasn't my intent to say that anything was being developed. My question was more thinking out loud about your idea.
  19. Would "Incarnate Level" be available for any mission/TF? Wonder what Reichsman would be like on Incarnate level...
  20. Not sure anyone said it can't be a problem, just that it isn't always automatically a problem.
  21. Scattering can be a valid tactic. Not every mission is a "defeat all" and used properly, it can be a great way to avoid large mobs and breeze past them while they are busy getting back up.
  22. That's ok but it can be very punitive to those with many alts. Grinding out Vet levels is a huge drag IMO. I rather like what Cryptic did in STO with the reputation systems. If you reach Tier V on one character, every other on the account gets a huge discount which cuts the grinding more than in half.
  23. ^This. Vet rewards for sure should be converted to account unlocks IMO.
  24. I really don't think you are speaking for everyone with that since you are making the (very false) assumption everyone shares your definition of what fun is.
  25. And people say this is such a friendly community. 😁 Math is great and all, but what exactly is the mathematical formula for "fun"? Math may say it is "power creep", but that doesn't make it fun. Math says Ice Melee and Battle Axe are on par with other sets for Scrappers.... but we don't see many of them, do we? And to be honest, the only people I see insulting others on these forums are those who are not open to discussion or want their ideas challenged or debated. Discussion is a healthy thing and that's what these forums are for.
