  1. I don't think it was ever suggested they were not. The thread title clearly spells it out with the use of the word "more" - as in a greater number and variety than what we have now. Not at all difficult to understand.
  2. ^ This. If you are "stuck" inside your base and your entrance portal is outside, just type /stuck and it will take you back out. It will work from any room.

  5. I could not disagree more. Adding more diversity is always a good thing in my opinion. Having more diverse costume pieces, weapons, tailored NPCs and assets for base building opens up a whole lot more creativity for character concepts and themes. As for it being a huge undertaking, yes we already know. The OP acknowledges and reiterated as much and is correct the majority of suggestions being made in this forum are "wishes" and more than likely will never be implemented. I understood the Homecoming staff to want to hear our ideas as well, no matter how crazy. It is nice for us to be able to dream and share ideas here even though they may never be implemented. It should go without saying that in the current environment, most suggestions are simply not feasible. I personally love this idea.

  7. Well no, you're saying (in your narrow opinion) they made the wrong primary selection. There are a lot more combinations and builds available than DM/Regen or KAT/Regen. We had one on Triumph. I cannot recall the name, but they were a Spines/Regen scrapper who tanked Hami before ED and the great regen nerfs.
  8. As I recall, PvP had nothing to do with nerfs to Regen. Regen was overpowered back in the days before ED when you could 6 slot heal enhancements and could stack Dull Pain - which is what made Regen overpowered more than anything else.
  9. Yes it is. That's one of the major issues with it. Saying Regen should "focus exclusively on recharge" is not good advice at all in my opinion and your own post actually says this too by recommending sword sets or DM as a primary because of the Buffs/Debuffs those provide. Incidentally, ToHit debuffs from DM or the DEF buff from parry doesn't save you from ranged or AoE attacks. You can have all the global recharge bonuses you want, they won't save you when you're overwhelmed by damage since Regen has no resistances or defenses other than pure healing to to fall back on. I've played with @Heraclea numerous times on all kinds of content - he/she knows what they are doing and how to build/play a character.
  10. I don't see the need for it. Just split up and have people cover individual zones. Do you really need all 8 people to defeat Clockwork in Atlas Park?

  12. Personally, I take fly on characters I envision as being flyers. I take SJ on characters that I envision being leapers. Same goes for SS. Teleport is the only one I don't have on any characters for thematic reasons, although I do use the teleport in Mystic Flight every so often.
  13. Incoming pseudo prophetic posts about how this would cause an imbalance in the game to such a degree that all of creation would twist inward unto itself, thereby causing destruction on a cosmic scale the likes of which has never been witnessed....
  14. Most NPCs have some form of ranged attacks as well, so this point is moot. Also, you may not get knocked back/down with Hover, but you're still being affected by them, just a different animation. It doesn't negate the effect completely.

  16. My SR/Nin/SD etc. scrappers, tanks, stalkers all finish most every battle at 100% health.
  17. You're going to get all kinds of responses about how increasing the speed of flight will somehow completely and utterly destroy the game and the entire universe because of "balance".
  18. Regen being better than DEF/Res sets is a matter of perception too. My experience is my DEF/RES characters are far and away superior to Regen. You don't constantly need to worry about clicking something to heal yourself and hoping that you're not stuck in an animation. It's only saving grace IMO is QR, which you can get with WP too, so not much reason to take Regen anymore.
  19. This was quite true. I would be all for turning IH back into a toggle. Regen is much, much, much too clicky a set for a melee class now IMO. P.S. Thread title should be "Undo the Regen Nerfs (plural)" there were quite a lot of them lol.

  21. This would be my vote for worst of the worst as well. Truly horrible combination - so much so they should not be allowed.
  22. Just me personally, but I don't feel simply adding +5 and up does anything to help the situation in the long term. It might work as a sort of band-aid in the interim, however I feel that content (iTrials, story arcs etc.) designed specifically with fully decked out incarnates in mind to challenge them is the better solution.
