  1. I'd give it a go. Why not? 😁
  2. Auction House is not available in any base. This is a technical limitation of the game.
  3. I think saying it would kill badging is a bit extreme. What makes badging special is entirely up to the individual. Personally, I could care less if others have stuff I have or I don't have stuff they do, however I can understand some want to be able to lord their stuff over others. Just my 2 inf, Veteran badges should be account unlocks as they were back in the day. I don't think that destroys badging at all.
  4. I agree. "Those guys" were not always right - their design choices aren't gospel and have been (and should continue to be) subject to change. I disagree. IMO certain (not all) badges are my achievements as a player, not my individual character(s). And I only speak for myself here, I think we are at a point in time where we can move on from what the "original design intent" was. The game will have to evolve if it is to survive.
  5. Isn't there one in Steel Canyon?
  6. This is how STO works with regard to Reputation. It's a fantastic feature IMO.
  7. Vet Reward Badges should be account bound. Beyond that, I believe the rest are fine as is.
  8. Yes, the bosses do. They're a walk in the park compared to the Arachnos Fortunata's whose blind seems to last forever.
  9. Yep. Easy enough if it is Malta you're up against. What I find annoying is the person who thought it a great idea to have 4 or more Mu Strikers in a single mob at once.
  10. Not looking to derail the thread, but this isn't correct. Not everyone aspired to be the Captain of a starship or Admiral on Star Trek. Some people were perfectly happy being bartenders, chefs, farmers, research scientists etc. Not everyone wanted the big chair and were content doing what they were doing because it was their passion in life.
  11. It's beginning to look a lot like more and more click-bait thread titles are being posted? 😁 As to the topic - yay! I can't wait to open presents. Too bad we can't get evil Santa from Futurama or Teen Titans. That would be fun!
  12. You can't orient the entrance portal on the floor or ceiling or wall by using F5. You most certainly can move it out of the entrance room though.
  13. Well no, that isn't what humanity did in Star Trek. Once hunger, war, poverty etc. were eradicated, the driving factor became learning, bettering themselves and exploration, thereby contributing to humanity as a whole and making it better. The pursuit of personal reputation had little to nothing to do with it. As to the topic at hand, the beauty of everyone getting access to everything means no one is a "have not". Everyone is a "has".
  14. They seemed to know enough about the code and hardware to get the servers up and running for the people they did have via private invitation. Not to mention the myriad of posts on Titan Network and over the web in general on various gaming sites when sunset was announced where players offered to kick in to keep a server running. The indication people would be willing to donate was there from the get go in my experience.
  15. Seems to me that players don't mind kicking in to cover upkeep costs since monthly donation goals are being met within literally minutes. Not sure what you said here is a reason to keep things secret.
  16. I do watch Star Trek and I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about in your second paragraph here.
  17. Essentially what I was getting at was something about not looking a gift horse in the mouth. 😉
  18. Perhaps there is no new stuff (yet) because they're a small volunteer team doing this part time for free? If you want stuff faster, learn programming and have at it. I'm sure they would welcome the help.
  19. I wish I could like this more than once. I'd up vote it a thousand times if I could, especially the first paragraph.
  20. TMI lol 😁
  21. I understand your frustration perfectly nor am I saying you shouldn't feel the way you do. I will say I find it odd that someone soloing who may or may not pull aggro from you is somehow different than a fellow league member doing the very same thing.
  22. I'm not using it as a defense for anything. I'm simply refuting the notion that one person is somehow ruining the whole raid because one person soloing is having a huge impact on the rewards for those in the league. It's a drop of a drop at best.
  23. Come on, it's common sense. Multiple people managing aggro to pull mobs into the bowl. vs one solo person. One person is simply not going to override all of that aggro to the degree the league is going to lose out on less than a handful of XP/Inf/merits.
