I disagree. What we were told and what the reasons were, were two very different things. Kiting mobs with travel powers was NEVER a thing. People were more concerned with trying to herd than they were with kiting. I must be in a minority. Used to enjoy kiting with super speed. It was counter productive. A very slow way of getting a kill. It was fun, though.

You should definitely put it in your Mass Levitate. Since you're looking to only affect yourself, having up to 10 opportunities to proc is better than 1 opportunity. That said, if it came down to a single boss, and you have no other minions to proc off of, then single target would be optimal. But generally speaking, go PBAoE. And if you can, minimize the enhanced recharge in the power to better improve the proc performance per activation. Makes sense. Looks like I'll put it in Mass Levitate. Thanks for the advice. :) Before you do, I just noticed something. Since the Proc is 5 PPM, you can actually maintain a 90% chance to proc if you keep the recharge enhancing below 80%. As for Mass Levitate, if you had the same 80% recharge slotted, you would need to hit 3 targets to get to 90%. So definitely keep that in mind. However, if you're looking to use Superior ATO and 6 slot it, you will have a recharge of approximately 100%. That would drop your probability with the ST to 83.3% chance to proc, while the PBAoE will have a 49% chance to proc off each target. If you hit 3, your chances of Proc'ing at least once is 86.8%, with 5 targets it's 96.6%. I also see that it stacks, so perhaps if you hit more than 1 target in the attack, you will stack with the one attack. That would be ideal. So in the end, if you plan to need it for mobs, definitely put it into the PBAoE. For a ST baddie (an AV that just won't go down), you might want to put it in your single target attack I'm going to be using it for mobs so I'll stick it in Mass Levitate. +inf

Shield doesn't either. I'm not 50 yet but I'm planning ahead. Soft capped defences and hard capped smash lethal resist when One With The Shield is active.

The answer to that question depends on the enhanced recharge of the power, the cast time of the power, the radius of the PBAoE attack power, and the number of targets the PBAoE can hit. Feel free to check out this thread for some of the current findings with the PPM mechanization. What Proc and powers are you considering? I can help more with that information. I'm looking to slot the 'Chance for +Res (All)' proc from the Superior Might of The Tanker set. I'm Psi Melee and thinking about putting it in either Mass Levitate (the PBAoE) or Greater Psi Blade.

In my experience its not really worth it. I 've used it on my Dom to stack mez but the massive End cost just ruins it tbh. Should really have had the massive recharge time and much less End usage.

Respec trial with purples everywhere. Accidentally aggroed a 2nd group. Everyone died but me, I managed to leg it. Best part was that no one knew it was me luckily. That was my first ever Tank. Doesn't happen anymore. :-[

I'm 38. Played CoH very close to the UK release, gave the Lord of The Rings Online free trial a try around 2007. Didn't like it. When Heroes shut down I started playing Champions Online. Got bored and quit in a month. The travel powers were nice. Everything else sucked. Tried DCU Online. They did a fantastic job of telekinesis but ultimately got bored again. Tried LoTRO again and really enjoyed playing it with the wife, but the novelty of exploring Middle Earth wore off after 700 hours. Tera had 6ft guns and the combat was great fun but it wasn't a super hero MMO, it wasn't CoH. I was looking forward to Ship of Heroes then City of Heroes came back. Never thought about playing another MMO since. Oh and I spent about 2 hours in WoW, Star Trek Online and Warframe. Maybe an hour in Dungeons and Dragons Online.

Its still here. The best friend I had here has come back and me and my wife have our favourite game to play again. I also get to change things about my toons I didn't like the first time around.

I like it. Its a slow starter but a PBAoE tier nine and a variety of secondary effects make it a nice set. Also I didn't realise an Insight Strike with Greater Psi Blade damaged surrounding enemies too which is another nice touch.

Dear god no. This happened in Monster Hunter World and players got abuse for not being 100% effective. I don't want that here.

Just one thing you may not have considered. EM clips horribly through the shield. I ran one of these and it bothered me no end. May not bother you but its something to consider.

I remade both my mains and the alts I actually kept up to shut down. I've changed a lot of them though. My Shield/EM Tank became my main which retired my Ice/Axe Tank. I changed him to Psi Melee because not only do I love telekinesis, the energy powers clipped so horribly through the shield. Looked ugly as hell. I absolutely hated it and wished I went Elec Melee back then.

I lost my creative streak. Back in 06/07 I got so bored at my awful job I ended up writing about 4 pages of Axewrath's (my old main) back story. Havn't even written in game bios yet which is crazy. Will have to give it some thought.

I've not encountered any of this. Hell in the short time I logged in today I saw people asking questions and getting help from experienced players. Also came 2nd in a costume competition where everyone was congratulating each other. Since I came here I've not seen any hostility in game at all.
