    I usually slot them with full set of cloud senses, that way I get the recharge and ranged defense bonus. Another option is expedient reinforcement set which gives similar stats
  2. @KC4800 nothing is truly required, somethings make certain goals easier to attain. WP has resists and defense build into it so skipping would be easier, it just depends on your goals. If the fighting pool doesn't mesh with your plans then by all means skip it
  3. Possibly setting the go to location as self.....some location target powers can be macro'd to self location
  4. @Aeroprism.....the kicker to get all the numbers right and the costly part was all the boosters I used which was the only drawback. Boost all the resistance sets up to +5......as I only run 50 content on this toon it works really well against most foes with arachnos posing the most problems due to all the energy attacks
  5. Here's my dark/dark build and while it does have fighting pool I don't believe it misses much else, with resistance cap on everything except energy and toxic. I also have decent defense and hit the soft cap for s/l and melee when my hybrid is active but all these were at the cost of perma hasten and soul drain.......off by 5 seconds or so.   6. On my dark/bio scrapper I have 5 pieces of the armageddon set, left out damage and used the proc instead
  7. after reading what @Normal Thomas said and the way he explained it......made sense to me. I understand tight builds as I'm going through that right now with my dark/cold controller. Looking over your build in mids and I have to say it should be a nightmare for the enemies you will be fighting.....have fun with it and good luck

  9. @Frosticus...thanks. I've leveled up a dark/dark and dark/storm to 50 and I'm currently working a dark/time up with my goal being to see what a proc'd out dark/cold can do, I love proc'n dark control for some added fun,
  10. So I'm thinking of making a new troller.......leaning towards dark/cold and was wondering if anyone ahs any thoughts on that pairing for Crazy Controller fun.. While haunts aren't as strong as PA I think they may bring some fun to the table

  12. @Frosticus...thanks for the reply. After dusting him off and running through parts of Maria arc I've come to realize how truly special the build is. I'm sitting at ranged soft capped as well as s/l soft cap and enough recharge to perma PA and hasten with heat loss off by 5 seconds from perma. I'm usually all about the dark but in this case I actually believe my ill/cold may be better than my ill/dark builds......thanks sharing and letting those of us know about this epic combo

Truly very impressive, I remember an earlier post you made regarding the greatness of the ill/cold troller with all the things it could do and it made me make one immediately, if I remember correctly it was ill/cold/ice. That build was really fun but has been sitting idle for a bit....what upgrades would you recommend to breath some life back into him? Thanks
  14. with bonfire I'd suggest putting in a knockback to knockdown IO to keep them on their backsides instead of pushing them back and causing pets to go chasing.
  15. Ill/dark with perma PA, perma hasten, perma soul absorption, perma fade and ranged defense at the cap is a wonderful thing to behold.......and if I recall s/l resist at the cap as well. So many goodies and so little enemies to abuse with them

  18. I'll throw out my current necro experiment....necro/thermal because who doesn't like to see burning zombies. I leveled up a necro/cold and it was fun, kinda sturdyish but lack of healing hurts the pets. Then I decided to try and level up a thermal build and while low level it seems to be interesting with my plan to turn the grave knights and lich into mini proc monsters to take advantage of some of their attacks. With 2 shields, 2 heals and some buffs from thermal it should do some really wonderful things for your pets and keep them upright through most mobs.

Unfortunately scrappers don't have a taunt aura, while they do have damage auras the fact is enemies tend to run from us, if you want the taunt aspect then try brutes which can be made very sturdy and do some really fun things as well. If you're looking for something with DDR I'd say shield or SR but if you want something different that can do a multitude of wonderful things I'd say dark armor or bio armor paired with dark melee........2 of my current favorite scrapper builds currently followed by a crazy dm/regen soft capped build I have.......but that's for people who are glutttons for punishment.
  20. You can't go wrong with either. My demon/dark is probably my favorite toon to play, she is capable of doing some really insane things and is nearly T4'd across the board with just Judgement left to complete. I am currently leveling a demon/time up and they're sitting at 30 and it's a really good combination......seems better than my dark MM at this early stage with all slows that work well with the demon's slows.

The problem I'm running into is that it's a very tight build and I can only fit one and slot one of the powers is, so it's either ToF or it's shadow maul unless I make major changes to the planned build.......softcapping my dm/bio scrapper.   23. Back to the scrapper gurus for a quick question about ToF.......is it worth it now? I'm planning a respec of another dark melee toon and was thinking of adding it in place of shadow maul, any thoughts to how it works with the latest updates....thanks for any advice
  24. @Fomsie, I actually implemented a few of the changes you suggested prior to seeing your post on my latest build but unfortunately there's no way to fit afterburner in with my current build. I did add moonbeam and put the apoc set there with the proc in place and with the current build MoG is kinda an after thought but there just in case stuff gets crazy. I never really looked at all the set bonuses for the Panacea set so that could be my next option to get it a bit better.......thanks for the feedback it's very much appreciated
  25. @BrandX, true but I went with dark blast for a quick attack as I always hated the snipe delay and even with the quick shot changes to it.......I still prefer dark blast.
