  1. It's still actively debuffing anything in it's radius. If you've moved past that mob onto a new mob that is no longer near the active radius of DN then yes shut it off and reapply but in time it does shut itself off if no active mobs are near it
  2. It does miss here and there but usually gets the majority of the mobs. As for best practices I think it comes down to what works for your build, while Numina set works perfectly for my ill/dark my dark/dark burns through endurance at a higher rate so a split works better for him
  3. I've used healing sets in it, prev medicine to get the 8% recharge bonus as well using recovery sets to get a really big boost that way but my current build has a full set of Numi placed in it for the range defense and with the proc it aids with recovery.
  4. This is really awesome how you made the clones look like your goblin minions.
  5. I've taken it on all my savage stalkers with the main drawbacks being it's lack of crits and it breaks hide. What i usually do is once i go for the assassination and rehide i pop hemorrhage on the closest victim and then leap for the mob AoE.
  6. Hemorrhage is terrible on the brute based on my experience and is only viable on a stalker where it hits really hard. As for strike vs slash I always take the tier 2 attack and I really like it's animation. Hope that answers your questions
  7. My main for the longest time was savage/regen brute. Tore through enemies like they were paper, only issue were the Banished Pantheon with their debuffs and the Praet clockwork which just made me slow down to make sure I targetted correctly. At work but I'll post it when I get home Wolfyn_-_Brute_Savage_Melee.mxd
  8. Got a dark/savage dom to 50. I enjoyed the ride but having a hard time with the right chain for attacks and such. Not the highest damage and slotting was a challenge to get where I wanted her to be......will probably respec again and experiment one more time with her build
  9. Have you thought about rad/dark. Nice combo that does some serious damage with both auras going. Only real issue is endurance but that can be fixed with sets and the epic choices.
  10. I do love that animation.....that may be the best teason to swap powers. Thanks
  11. So I'm thinking of doing a respec on my dark/dark scrapper and the only power that I'm considering dropping is OG and grabbing soul storm. I think I've used OG once and only have it for set bonuses but i can get better with soul storm and the hold set. Anyone have any thoughts on the usefulness OG that I'm missing Thanks in advance for or any help
  12. Not yet. Sitting at work brainstorming a pure regen build, tried with pines but didn't save anything as I wanted more......so much more
  13. So I have an idea for a regen scrapper I'm thinking of making and while I know he will struggle I'm still kinda intrigued by the thought of a pure regen scrapper. My plan is build for regen and recharge so I can get as close as possible to a form of perma IH. I know my defense and resist will probably be non existent in pursuit of this crazy build but half the fun is seeing what can be. After a few builds through pines the most regen i was able to get was 730%.....has anyone built for total regen and if so what tegen number should be the target. Thanks
  14. Here's what I'm currently running on my savage/bio stalker. 2 purple sets and the superior versions of the ATO's, she's done some interesting things including solo some AV's. 15. On my demon storm I put to heal IOs in the demons and skipped 02 as I leveled and I put in hold IOs in demon prince I believe until I got the set pieces I needed. Worked well enough and kept things alive longer but after a while it's not needed as damage output overtakes the need to heal
  16. Just a thought on another option, have you considered illusion/dark....very good pairing
  17. So I've been pairing dark sets together since the original launch many, many years ago and this go round I remade my main and namesake into a dark/dark controller from the original build of dark/dark defender and early on it was a struggle. It took me all 50 levels to figure the build out and what it actually was and what it wasn't. Post 50 I've had more fun playing a dark controller than any other hero/villain I've created and found it to be very powerful and if build right can and has done some insane things. I've been mine with the soul patron power in mind to get dark oblit and dark embrace, mainly for theme but also for slotting of proc's and such with most other powers slotted for debuff to increase what it already does well and take it to an "Oh My God" why cant I hit you say's the AV level...throw in some lockdown procs on dark grasp and shadow field and you're holding everything. Mix in heart of darkness with it's heavy stun and with the -res proc from fury of the gladiator and your pets do even more damage. Want more sickness throw in more negative damage procs in haunt, dark servant and umbra beast and....well.....no one really resists the dark all that much. Doc has a single purples IO, no controller ATO's and is relatively inexpensive as final goes. Since you wanted to hear about dark...there it is....lock it down, debuff the everything out of it and then stomp it into the ground with your pets and whatever damage you have because AV's or Giant Monsters will all become scared of the dark.
  18. I have a savage melee brute, scrapper and stalker all at 50 and all fully built. The stalker easily out performs the others. With hemorrhage hitting hard after rehiding thanks to my proc and with the build up proc kicking in I've been able to solo several AVs. While I'm sure I could do this on my brute and scrapper in time with a more substantial investment the stalker did it without purples or the superior version of the ATO sets
  19. In truth, I just wanna see the little psychos run around critting things. May make one, bump it up and watch the show before deleting it as I much prefer demons on my MM's but the ninja/kin sounded like crazy fun
  20. Ninja/kin....little cracked out ninjas running around critting everything
  21. My personal favorite right now is my savage/regen, while squishier than some other brutes I love the combination and can be built into a monster. I've leveled up a sm/sd to 50 and working on a sm/bio who's at 46
  22. So I've got both sets of the Stalker ATO on my SM/Bio and I'm wondering the best places to slot them. I've kept leap on the toon based on a concept and I know it takes you out of hide so I was thinking of placing Stalker's Guile set into it for a chance to get the hide proc to go off and for Assassin's Mark, placing it into assassins frenzy so a follow up attack could get added build up. Is this plan workable or would it they be better served elsewhere like hemorrhage, rending flurry or savage strike.
  23. As far as combos go under 20 while not the most powerful due to resistance by certain mobs, I've become addicted to savage melee on stalkers. It high solid damage, quick recharge and good single and AOE attacks. Pairing it with something like Bio makes it really solid based on what I'm seeing from mine currently
  24. If you run it at +1/x1 she's an EB. I took my times based on no travel power and wasn't sure what I was getting myself into but 0 deaths and no issues. The original poster was right about TF being easy to finish solo with a stalker for sorta quick 50 merits
  25. So I just tried this on my savage/shield stalker, while taking my time(1 hr 20 minutes) due to no travel powers outside of beast run and ran into no issues even at that time, 50 merits seems pretty good payoff. I think I'll be able to cut my time down when I pick up my travel power in the next level or so. Never thought about trying to run this TF for merits like that. Thanks for the heads up will have to run it every few days to get my merits so I can trick out my stalker.
