Ehh, it happens. I just roll with it because sometimes (depending on the team) it’s the only real excitement in TF.

A “thumbs down” emoji bothers you - but several people saying “your idea sucks” or “that’s just stupid” is okay? Are you sure?

If you post on a forum - you are “asking” for people to reply with their opinions. If you don’t want them, don’t post. If you only want opinions that agree and support your own, create your own site and CENSOR what hurts your feelings.

@TheSpiritFox Have you thought about actually running some of the content BEFORE deciding you don’t like it? You could always form a team yourself.

Not necessarily. A lot of times people just want to be entertained. To forget what’s going on in the world for a few hours and escape reality. Not to say they shouldn’t also be interesting. Marvel chose the path of trying to appeal to the largest possible audience - and they succeeded (for a few years when the stories were interesting) Watchmen was great, but very limited on who wanted to see it. I enjoyed the first 2 seasons of The Boys, and then the “over the topness” of it got tiring.

The comics you referenced earlier were written for children - as most were back in the 70s/80s. Just like Saturday morning cartoons were. No offense, but I really don’t understand what you were expecting

You do realize that no one has said they want a word for word, panel by panel retelling of old comic stories……right? The idea is already out there. Now put a modern spin on it, and tell it in an enjoyable way - like the way they did with Civil War. Of course if you like what’s being put out now - that’s cool. We can’t all have the same tastes.

Contest of Champions was much better imo

Guess I’m in the minority here. Never liked the game. Didn’t care about the movie. Then I watched the trailer today….and I am in!!! Could be trash, or it could be a fun and entertaining movie.

I know one thing that doesn’t help newbies…. When they are told it’s best to get IOs at 25 (in help chat). Those things are expensive and unnecessary for people still learning to play.

Im curious, did you ask if any of the trollers could switch? What about you - what kind of AT were you on? I know if I found myself on a team with 5 trollers….. First I would cringe Next I would check to see how much time I had If the leader didn’t speak up, I would ask if any would be willing to switch. Finally, I would switch to DPS (regardless of what I was on)

Saw someone “molesting” Sovereign in Oro the other day. Guess it was bound to happen.

If you’re forming the team, and are down to just needing certain types of players (heals/tank/holds/DPS), you could always ask for people to tell you what type of toon they are on before you send an invite. Just a suggestion.

After quickly dying, he suddenly quit the TF and immediately came on here to post about the horrible experience he had and the idiot leading the TF. True story. I swear I’m not making it up.
