To be fair to DiantaneThaGod, he is most definitely not the only person who thinks this way.

Why oh why do the devs keep making decisions without first consulting Diantane??? At this point I’m starting to think they do it just because they like reading the threads he starts.

How do you suppose players learn to properly manage KB? Trial and error, that’s how. When would this be most prevalent? Low level missions and task forces! Players need to understand that when they join low level content, there is a good chance someone on the team is still trying to learn the powers of their NEW toon. They are not being “bad”, “awful” or “inconsiderate”. They are being EXACTLY what every last player has been at some point in this game. Now, if they level 30+ and haven’t figured it out….then yes, they are a mess.

If he spawned at a set location, wouldn’t that eventually lead to issues? People camping that spot waiting to kill Babbage before the team that spawned him can get there? I could be wrong. I’m just envisioning MMs camping like they do the Halloween event and Adamastor Guess the spawn point could be right outside the Synapse mission door

Wouldn’t it be easier to just write/code/whatever a rule that says Synapse spawned Babbage can’t be affected by drones?

Alfred and Gordon belong in any Batman story. I don’t have an issue with 3 villains in a movie. What I have a problem with is 3 villains plus 5 heroes. Especially when it’s the movie that is supposed to be establishing Superman’s world. A comparison would be to have called the Justice League movie…..Batman

They also who Batman is, along with his backstory - yet they still seem to find ways not to turn Batman movies into full blown ensembles. Sorry, but this is a new version of Superman. I want to learn about this version. I want to see the world established. I want Lois to be something more than someone who just shows up whenever it’s convenient. I also want to learn about this Clark. Instead, we will have to learn about the new heroes and villains. Who they are and what their motivations are. IMO it takes away who this version of Clark/Superman is. Does this mean it will suck? Of course not. It could be the greatest superhero movie ever made (although that’s not what the recent test screening is saying). It just won’t be the greatest Superman movie ever made.

Sounds like this would greatly benefit AFK Farming. For that reason, I am out.

I get why some people don’t like it. I’m in the middle on it. The action has a very comic book feel to it, which I like. However, this is a Superman movie. I want to see Superman. Not Green Lantern. Not Hawkgirl. Not Krypto. Not Mr Terrific. Not Metamorpho. Some of those characters the GA won’t even know, so instead of spending the entire run time on a Superman story and world building, they will have to spend time on explaining who the hell these other heroes are. Where they came from and why they are here. Lets not forget character building for whatever villains they also cram into this.

Getting to level 2 is a huuuge problem for many people! Luckily for those people……Diantane has created a guide!

Finally sat down to watch. I think the biggest thing the did wrong was releasing it in theaters. Entertaining as a streaming movie, just not quite good enough to pay money to watch. IMO it’s on par with other streaming Christmas movies. While watching, I couldn’t help but feel that it was originally intended to be a 3d computer animated movie - like Authurs Christmas. If they went that route, I think it would have been much better received. It was entertaining. Lots of good lore and mindless cartoon violence. I think if you can watch without taking it seriously (like all Christmas movies), you’ll enjoy it.

Thanks for taking the time to better explain the idea @Oklahoman I think just being able to type your own message could lead to issues. Other than that, I wouldnt be upset if they implemented something like this.

Just to be clear - I wasn’t saying you did any of the things I listed. Just that those are all things people have at one time or another classified as “toxic behavior” on these forums, to illustrate the ridiculousness of some peoples claims. If someone is truly toxic, I’m confident that the mods deal with them. If it’s one or two posts that may be misunderstood or taken out of context - that’s not being toxic, nor should anyone be banned.

If people were banned for “perceived toxic” behavior, some of the things they would be banned for….. - giving a thumbs down - not agreeing with a suggestion - playing a power wrong - picking a wrong power - slotting a power wrong - playing the wrong AT - having an opinion about an AT they don’t play

Yes, I don’t understand the purpose of the card. When I first started reading it, I thought it would like an instant “call me if you need help” card. Something that when invoked, would automatically put you on their team (if you were online). But then….it wasn’t. Okie is a great member of the community, and I am certainly very grateful for his contributions…..but a strange and confusing idea is still a strange and confusing idea.

Again, why? I am honestly really confused by this whole suggestion.
