  1. I'll be honest, I'm more of an idea guy, rather than a leader or someone actually productive. I more like hearing myself talk, or type in the case of my loud clicky keyboard. But if someone else likes the idea, I'll certainly join and move my market toon to that SG! Proof would be done via screenshots or something? Or by trusting people to not overly inflate their e-peens? I realize that's asking a lot since people online tend to compensate, but short of having log in checks(an obvious non starter), I'm not sure how to prove such a thing.
  2. That is the reason I created a Time Defender. Now I'm not a fan of playing defenders, so this character was eventually stripped of IOs and retired so I don't really have a dog in this fight. But I do know my buddy and I created a Time Defender duo because of this interaction. I don't know how often that was the reason for other people, just that the two of us did it for that reason.
  3. The death threats are obviously out of line and not ok, but the rest is hilarious. People are silly.
  4. If you are looking for mouse suggestions, several people gave some good ones when I asked in June
  5. I thought about this a bit more, I think I took the wrong approach with my last couple comments. I think someone should start a new supergroup, the United Flippers Coalition, or UFC for short. The ranks would be as followed: Flyweight 0-5 billion total net Influence/Infamy Featherweight 5-10 billion total net Influence/Infamy Welterweight 10-50 billion total net Influence/Infamy Light Heavyweight 50-100 billion total net Influence/Infamy Heavyweight 100+ billion total net Influence/Infamy Of course the numbers would to be adjusted from time to time need as more currency enters the game. But I think this is a good starting place. edit: I would be a Welterweight in this ranking system
  6. So we're MPCs?
  7. If we're going to bring back the silly flipper rants, we need to use the correct terminology and call them ebil.
  8. Here's the deal, all development and bug fixing needs to immediately stop so this can happen. I'm not saying I like your idea, I LOVE IT
  9. Not sure if this matters for your testing, but I think the oil patch and the fire after it is lit are separate psuedopets. If that's the case they may spawn differently?
  10. First thing you gotta do is get a jet pack, fly as high as you can, then drop to the ground. It never gets old.
  11. I think to get prices back down it will take significant work by a group since most people tend to just go by what they see in last five. For example, I've been tracking my sales via spreadsheet the last couple months. I've moved about 850 Miracle+ Recovery. I always post them for 4.5 million and some change. When the display bug is not active the average sell price is 4.8 million, with 581 sold. When the bug is active the average sell price is 8.4 million, with 259 sold. Note that I post and collect in batches of 20-100 at a time, so I don't have individual sell prices, just averages. So of those 259, I'm not sure how many sold at 10-20 million compared to normal.
  12. I was surprised at how incredibly effective Ice/Fire Blaster turned out to be. All the slows really help make the most out of Burn since Blasters don't have taunt auras. Looking back it seems obvious now, but I wasn't expecting such perfect synergy. In many ways he feels like my most powerful character by a large margin.
  13. I like this, BUT! Any wrestling set must have either(or both) the Randy Savage Elbow Drop or Shawn Michaels Super Kick. edit: The taunt/confront could be the DX crotch chop, but I don't really care about that.
  14. Sometimes I'll go to rooftops in Atlas just to use Nova or Gale for shits and giggles.
  15. I was not aware that drop rates have been lowered. Interesting.
  16. With their additional targets and bigger AoE and cones, do they need anything? I've never made a fire tank, so I have no idea.
  17. I think the most immediate impact such a change would have, at least for me, is the potential to slot an extra proc or three in a build. Recovery set bonuses are rarely a goal for me, they are typically just the first bonus on my way to more recharge or defense. A few builds in which I already have plenty of that, DM/SR being a good example, I will intentionally two slot a few sets for a little bit of extra recovery. If such a change were to be made, is likely try to fit in a few extra procs instead. But I'm saying that without actually looking at any of my current builds, so I anticipate more ideas to emerge if people actually dig into it. I do agree that this idea isn't really needed. But without more research I find the claim such a change would break the game or over power players to lack credibility. There has yet to be any evidence in how's that's the case. If it were my call I'd want all recovery bonuses to be replaced with endurance reduction bonuses. That could open up some massive opportunities for me to make my characters more powerful.
  18. What is different from than now compared to live? They seem to function how I remember. I agree, I know I'm guilty of it as well.
  19. As for the topic in the thread, I like the idea, with the condition that the UI isn't cumbersome and annoying.
  20. I think it's pointless worrying about such arguments as those people don't speak for other players. Typically it's my conclusion they are really just stating their preference but framing it in a way that includes other players because they think it helps their case.
  21. Nobody is going to prove their point here, because there are just too many variables at play here. And I'd be willing to bet money that not a single player has the data or ability to prove their case. We'd need to be able to somehow semi-accurately demonstrate or predict at least the following: 1. What would be the impact to current builds, how many are struggling now and how many would have their problems immediately solved? 2. Current builds that already have good endurance management, what would they do? Just leave theirs builds as is, or respec and try to squeeze out more performance in other bonsues? 3. Related to #2, with set bonuses being on several sets, how possible would it be to simply ignore them in the chase for more recharge or defense bonuses? 4. What kind of impact would this actually have on future builds, both for the average player and people that make end game builds. 5. If recovery bonsuses were buffed what, if anything, would we lose in a possible rebalance of bonuses in multiple sets? 6. How much would this actually help broken builds. Example my StJ/Ice Stalker's end management is so poor it's a broken ass build. The extra .495 endurance a second(if bonuses were 2.5x bigger) would be nice, but wouldn't fix that build. But that's my fault for throwing together a shitty build, not really relevant to the topic because it's so bad that it should be dismissed as an outlier.
  22. Not a fan of only getting such components via trials. For anything of any difficulty I find most leaders to not care/be incompetent, or control freaks. This includes me as I fall into the former category.
