War Mace is really underrepresented on Scrappers. It's awesome.

I do that sometimes too. And when I'm bored I'll sometimes send random trade invites and give away influence. I gave away like 300 million or so about two weeks ago to random people in Atlas Park. Being nice is only a small part of it, the reactions amuse me and that's why I really do it. I won't say anything, just send a random trade invite, then run off. No explanation, don't respond to PMs. It confuses people and I enjoy that.

Slight correction, I don't always delete non rare salvage. Sometimes I'll go up to a random player and start giving it to them until I run out, their inventory is full, or they run away.

I delete non rare salvage. If there was an easy way to dump it all on the market in a couple button presses I would do that at 1 influence each.

Lightning Rod is a psuedo pet and does benefit from Build Up, but it does not crit. Build Up does not work on Incarnate abilities. Resist debuffs are the only reliable way to increase their damage.

Agreed, don't need damage added. Whatever procs fit in there now would be more than good enough. I'm not even sure I'd use them or even slot the power a lot of time beyond an accuracy and/or recharge.

I'd like Touch of Fear to be a narrow cone, that would be fun for me. I personally don't have much use for a single target fear, especially on a Scrapper.

I think people should include a picture of what they think of when they read or hear the various names suggested. I think it could really help sell some of these names.

I think something important people aren't talking about here is NCSoft. Regardless of where one falls on this topic, I'd bet money that stuff like this is something NCSoft wouldn't want to deal with, especially for something that won't directly bring in revenue. Best case a deal with HC is a loss leader for them, so adding in potential controversies (big or small) is not something that is going to make them more likely to do a deal. I'm not saying it's fair or unfair, right or wrong, only something that needs to be considered. Personally I think the way the HC team handled this is fantastic. First and foremost, it gives me additional confidence in their leadership and ability to navigate touchy subjects. I wasn't doubting them before, but I was absolutely watching this to see how they respond. Because it matters. And if there is some NCSoft rep keeping an eye on things here, I suspect that person will come to a similar conclusion, whether or not they have a personal issue with the initial name.

People pick their battlles. The villain is already in the game, the powerset isn't.

Personally I think comparing Fire to War Mace would be more helpful. War Mace does amazing single target, good AoE, and has tons of mitigation.

This is a fair point. But the potential thread drama could keep me entertained for twenty or thirty minutes.
