  1. No u!
  2. I would like to point out that since I won yesterday, that means this matters for the next day. Also it confirms for me that everyone really does want to be a Scrapper.
  3. What browsers do these forums not work properly on?
  4. Blasters doesn't surprise me, but I had always just assumed Stalkers had a modifier closer to Scrappers. Though I do see how that could cause obvious balance issues.
  5. For Scrappers and Blasters I tend to find soft controls to be more effective for larger mobs. Holds are great if you need them for bosses(think Ice Blaster), but I find the slows and knockdowns much more effective on those ATs.
  6. Yes, with Perma-Dom they can very much be death dealing machines. @nihilii(I think) posted a time with a Fire/Fire Dom in the Pylon thread that is up there with most top end Blasters and Scrappers.
  7. Their melee modifier is 1.05 and Scrapper is 1.125, but I don't know how that compares to Blasters or even Stalkers. Dominators can put up big melee numbers, but obviously have less melee attacks compared to the melee ATs. Seismic Smash can do over 1100 damage if all my procs hit.
  8. I have a goal of destroying Carnies at +4x8 with my Dark/Earth Dom. I can do +2x8, but it's a bit slow. I'll get there eventually.
  9. I don't have many Stalkers, and definitely not one that mirrors what I've made as a Scrapper. But I have a similar experience with a couple of my Blasters. They do so much damage that I feel as every bit as safe and survivable as I do on most Scrappers, though it's more active mitigation.
  10. I would agree for myself. But I think having other rewards would encourage people to use it. Plus a leaderboard for shits and giggles.
  11. See! Everyone wants to be a Scrapper. Note: This isn't directed at you Solarverse, it just happens to relate to a comment I made in another thread.
  12. The keeping aggro part I find difficult with my Blasters. That's because things either die so fast it doesn't matter, or some lame Brute or Tank steals the aggro. Scrappers do it too, but Scrappers are never lame and everyone wants to be a Scrapper. My Archery/Temp Blaster has Provoke and outside of an all Blaster ITF I ran, Provoke has been pretty useless for me.
  13. I totally forgot to factor that in. Damage for Crushing Uppercut very well might be better.
  14. This is still my favorite suggestion by far. I want this so very much.
  15. I was originally going to say hippies, but Defenders shower.
  16. It's an understandable complaint. I have a WM/Bio Scrapper that couldn't quite make room for a travel power, and I really miss having Super Speed and Combat Jumping on all the time.
  17. I think a potential solution is bring it to Scrappers with changes and see how it works out before changing Rage on the other ATs. Use Scrappers as test crash dummies. It's a win-win. Scrappers get SS and we can test Rage changes before impacting existing versions of the set.
  18. Solo high level Task Forces, including Master runs if possible. I've also found that Silver Mantis, Ghost Widow, and Lord Recluse are good yardsticks to measure a character's abilities if they are AVs and you don't use inspirations. Those Silver Mantis debuffs are no joke.
  19. I think what pretty much every change, buff, nerf, game meta, etc, leads to one conclusion: Everyone wants to be a Scrapper. Which is logical, scrapperlock isn't AT dependent or a playstyle, it's a way of life. A tankmage is simply a wannabe Scrapper with a dumb name. A Tank is a just meaty Scrapper that slap fights. A Brute is just a Scrapper that's pissed about not actually being a Scrapper. A Blaster is just a Scrapper that's too skinny. A Controller is just a Scrapper nerd raging online. A Defender is a just a Scrapper that lost its way and thought about becoming a pacifist in it's 20s. A Stalker is just a Scrapper that runs away. A Dominator is just a Scrapper that got a little too far in S&M. A Master Mind is just a Scrapper that can't fight. A Corruptor is just a Scrapper that's a bully. A Kheldian is just a Scrapper that is in the middle of a midlife crisis that bought a Mazda Miata instead of a Corvette. EDIT: Upon further reflection I think the Warshade bought the Corvette and the Peacebringer bought the Miata. The point is, everyone wants to be a Scrapper.
  20. I use a bind to switch between the two, much less annoying that way. /bind C "powexectoggleon Ninja Run$$powexectoggleon Combat Jumping"
  21. Combat Jumping is a top five power in the entire game as far as I'm concerned. I'd choose it over Hasten.
  22. Maybe I missed it, but in my opinion there are two reasons Nemesis vengeance makes them more difficult, the defense buff being in addition to the to-hit debuff. Surviving longer by itself is little more than a nuisance. Either one by itself either like wouldn't do much.
  23. TankYou is such a badass name. And I sometimes do something similar, except I add Munki to the start of the name. If it's something they just didn't feel like dealing with, just putting someone on ignore is an effective way to accomplish that. Not the most polite, but it works. I too would like this policy implemented. It's a reasonable and fair one.
  24. I like that it stacks, would rather it stay as is.
