  1. Pretty sure only MM primary pets and Lore pets are controllable. Here's a screenshot of my Necro/Dark with agressive/goto commands input. Necro pets went to the specified location; Fluffy did not. Also the command icons have an exclamation mark meaning not all pets in the list have a command. Same with Bots/Traps. Bots and Lore pets took a dip in the pool; FFG continued to stand by me.
  2. A bunch of players talked about it a fair amount awhile ago. Adding a movement speed buff to Supremacy, giving pets an inherent Sprint/Swift power, create a +movement IO specifically for pets and allowing all pets to slot run IOs (Not just Beasts and Ninjas) were a few of the ideas. I think the Swift/Sprint route would be the easiest and most effective.
  3. There's a Bug Reports and a Suggestions/Feedback threads in these forums. I think there's also something on the Homecoming Discord server. I'm not sure which is the best one to post to.
  4. Pretty sure the icons in the buff display are just your summoned Spectral Minions. The icons will disappear when the SM duration ends. Can monitor Combat Attributes to see if you receive any -tohit debuffs.
  5. The P2W vendor also sells an AoE grenade that knockback targets. Lob one at the adds, maybe it will blow them off the bridge.
  6. Unbreakable Constraint isn't doing much in Spec-Ops. Their only power that can trigger it is Tear Gas, but it has a 180 sec cooldown. The only damage procs worth slotting across all pets are Shield Breaker and Lady Grey. Arguably, also Explosive Strike in Commando if it can be worked in. Proc out Soldiers first since it's 3 pets triggering them, Spec-Ops second with 2 pets, and solo Commando last. Meaning if only 1-2 damage procs can be fit into a build, they should be slotted in Soldiers. If 3-4 procs can be fit, slot 2 in Soldiers and 1-2 in Spec-Ops. If 5-7 procs can be fit, 2 in Soldiers, 2 in Spec-Ops and 1-3 in Commando. I hope that makes sense. The Sovereign unique in Soldiers could replace the Lady Grey in Commando, then slot Shield Breaker proc on Soldiers. Shield Breaker will proc way more on 3 pets than Lady Grey on one pet. Or swap Unbreakable Restraint with Sovereign in Spec-Ops for Shield Breaker. I always add Overwhelming KD chance in the T1 pets for some mitigation. I have Achilles' slotted into Spec-Ops for that reason. It's not ideal but it is what it is.
  7. I don't think it's possible to slot 7 damage procs and still get 50/80 acc/dam unless totally ignoring the pet unique IOs (In the Beta test, uniques were omitted). The best chance to do it is with Mercs paired with Storm thanks to Tornado being a 4th pet power. The post just showed improved dps with damage procs. If a build can only fit one, two or three etc procs, it will still be a dps increase than without. Proc T1 pets first, than Spec-Ops and Commando last. Paired with EA, I would try scaling back on accuracy and endurance on pets. Supremacy, Tactics, Empowering Circuit, Serum and Soulbound (In Soldiers) and all pets applying -def debuffs, accuracy becomes less of an issue. Serum and Energizing Circuit will help with pet endurance.
  8. No, at least not yet. One or two other servers has created a way to do it so it is possible.
  9. When making a build on Mids', view it with powers off, except for perma (Or near perma) powers and toggles. Power Boost makes the MM stats higher when it's only active 45% of the time. Kismet +acc can only trigger when a power is activated. Even then, it will only last for 2 minutes until the power is used again. Slotting Kismet in a toggle will give it a chance to trigger every 10 secs. Putting it in Maneuvers, Scorpion Shield or Hover would be more beneficial, chances are it will have a 100% uptime. The Panacea unique has a chance to trigger on each target it jumps to when slotted it in Insulating Circuit. It might work in Rejuvenating Circuit as well though I never tested that. Damage procs makes a huge difference for Merc pet damage. If you're able to jam them in somehow, I recommend it. If procs needs to be sacrificed, take them away from the Commando. Did some testing yesterday on the new Rikti Pylon practice dummies on Beta. Only pets and Serum used, log attached below: No damage procs. Achilles' and Soulbound equipped in Soldiers: 2024-01-21 20:01:35 [NPC] Commando: Consider it done. 2024-01-21 20:06:37 You have defeated Vanguard Training Pylon 5m2s/302s= 255 dps 7 damage procs split between all pets. Soulbound in Soldiers; Achilles' in Spec-Ops: 2024-01-21 20:12:02 [NPC] Commando: I'm going in. 2024-01-21 20:14:13 You have defeated Vanguard Training Pylon 2m11s/131s= 421 dps chatlog 2024-01-21.txt Regenerative Tissue would be more useful in Health. It doesn't jump to ally targets. Slot some +res in Faraday Cage. It improves res to all damage types except Toxic. Overall it will make every friendly in range more survivable than +6% psionic res to just your MM. Also tested Impervium Armor and Impervious Skin, they didn't trigger on targets either. Looks like the Performance Shifter proc has a chance to trigger on all targets when equipped in Energizing Circuit. The Power Transfer heal proc didn't trigger once while testing. It doesn't look like the Gaussian BU proc triggers on pets when it's equipped in Empowering Circuit. Mercs and EA are both pretty awesome. I'm sure whatever you end up with will do fine.
  10. That sounds like a conundrum. Nothing I can think of to root you in place. Can try playing with Hide off. I'm pretty sure you can still build Assassin's Focus for the AS crit. Or keep Hide on and start your chain with your strongest attack (Other than AS). Will get a crit with that attack, and be out of Hide so no Slow AS.
  11. The Overwhelming proc has a chance to knockdown with any pet attack. It will gives T1 Thugs some mitigation since when they knockdown a target, the target can't retaliate until they get up. It triggers often. The video below, it triggers 17 times, split between 3 pets, in about 55 seconds, when it was slotted in Illusion's Phantom Army.
  12. Your pet's stats look pretty good. They'll be even better if you pick up the Musculature Alpha incarnate. I think the Enforcers could use more endurance. +47.7% is low for long fights. The pets will be at softcap, cold shields + Arctic Fog + Maneuvers + Enforcer Maneuvers + Edict/CtA. I recommend slotting the Overwhelming Force KD proc into Call Thugs. I think your pets can run with less accuracy. Supremacy + Tactics + Enforcer's Tactics should put them at around +22% tohit. Add in Enforcer and Sleet's -def debuffs + random BU on Enforcers and Bruisers on top of that. Also I'm not convinced that Gaussian's is worth it in Enforcers. I see a lot of players slot it but I did some testing and it didn't trigger very often. Maybe once per minute. Enforcers would do more damage with the Lady Grey or Shield Breaker proc. The MM def/res stats are kind of low. Cold shields and Enforcer's Maneuvers do not work on the MM. Maybe slot Steadfast and Gladiator's Armor for +6% def into Arctic Fog or Frozen Armor. Also the Shield Wall IO for +5% dam res. Tough and Weave can help a lot and a different Epic pool, but I get it's a theme. I haven't played Cold but I think Benumb is supposed to be useful. -Dam and -regen debuff, good for bosses. If you can scrounge a slot, put it in Hover for the Freebird +stealth IO. That + Arctic Fog should make you fully invisible, then Stealth can be dropped for Combat Jump. They have the same +def bonus but has a lower end cost. Maybe slot the Annihilation -res proc in Sleet. It can stack on top of Sleet and Achilles' debuffs. All in all, I think the build is pretty good and will take you far.
  13. Here's a list to help maintain endurance while leveling. I'm not sure how Radiation Therapy works with the Performance Shifter proc but it would be great if it can trigger on each target within it's radius. Select the rec buff pet at the P2W vendor. Slot end redux in powers early. Add slots to Stamina early. Add slots to Gamma Boost early Slot IO set bonuses that improve recovery. Slot IO set bonuses that adds +max end. Slot IO set bonuses that provide end discounts. Carry a tray of blue inspiration. Consider the Duelist badge for +max end (Logout arena). Consider the Clubber badge for out of combat +rec (Logout Pocket D). Toggle off travel powers in fights. Slot Panacea unique in Health at lvl 7. Add end mod IO to Radiation Therapy at lvl 16. Slot Miracle unique in Health at lvl 17. Slot Performance Shifter proc in Stamina at lvl 18. Slot Performance Shifter proc in Gamma Boost at lvl 18 Slot Performance Shifter proc in Radiation Therapy at lvl 18 Work on the Atlas Medallion at lvl 23. Finish asap. Slot Numina unique in Health at lvl 27. Add end mod IOs to Meltdown at lvl 30. Consider Superior Conditioning at lvl 35. Slot Performance Shifter proc in Superior Conditioning at lvl 35 Work on Portal Jockey at lvl 35. Finish asap. Consider Physical Perfection at lvl 41. Slot Performance Shifter proc in Physical Perfection at lvl 41. Consider boosting end redux/mod IOs to +5 at lvl 50. Consider an end redux/end mod Alpha at lvl 50. Consider Ageless Destiny at lvl 50. Consider Support Hybrid at lvl 50.
  14. The enhancements slotted into Enchant Demon currently will only affect the Enchant Demon power itself. Range IO will increase its distance from the MM to pet, to be able to cast. A recharge enhancement will make the Enchant Demon recharge quicker. End reduction will reduce its end cost. Other MM primaries were updated in late 2022. Mercs, Necro, Ninjas and Bots upgrade powers can affect pets in various ways. Demons, Thugs and Beasts are possibly in the works.
  15. I recommend slotting mostly what you can while leveling. Don't need to go for full sets, just try to get decent stats like acc, dam and end redux for pets. Add in +recharge for non-pet powers. IO's to aim for while getting to 50 are: Call to Arms +def - slottable at lvl 7. Panacea proc - slottable at lvl 7. Gladiator's Armor +def - slottable at lvl 7. Steadfast Protection +def - slottable at lvl 7. Shield Wall +res - slottable at lvl 7. Achilles' Hell -res - is slottable at lvl 10. Edict of the Master +def - slottable at lvl 12. Miracle +rec - slottable at lvl 17. Reactive Defense +res - slottable at lvl 17. Annihilation -res - slottable at lvl 17. Performance Shifter proc - slottable at lvl 18. Sovereign Right +res - slottable at lvl 22. Expedient Reinforcements - slottable at lvl 27. Numina's +reg/rec - slottable at lvl 27. I believe the MM ATOs and Overwhelming KD proc are slottable at lvl 10, but not 100% sure. I'm not saying these IOs are must-haves at the listed level. They will just help make the ride smoother. They provide a lot of survivability/resources at lower levels for MM and pets. The sooner they're equipped, the better.
  16. Thugs/Time. It's probably the easiest pairing to get Gang War perma thanks to Chrono Shift. It was always fun to play but perma GW made it a favorite of mine.
  17. Alpha - Musculature Core/Radial or Intuition Radial. Just to improve pet damage. Some of their other effects improve Time powers like holds, slow and -tohit debuffs. Judgement - Up to you based on what you want and/or playstyle. Core side for more damage; Radial side for mez/secondary effects. Interface - Degenerative Radial. I think it's still the best in regards to damage for MM/pets. If you have a power that can floor a target's regen, then Reactive Radial would be the better pick. Lore - Up to you. I usually take whatever fits my character's theme. For Necro, I took Phantom Core. For Time, I took Cimeroran Core. Core over Radial for the extra damage pet instead of a support pet. Destiny - Time is strong in regards to +recharge, +end, heals and getting to softcap. So I would skip Ageless, Rebirth and Barrier. I would go Clarion Radial or Incandescence Radial. Clarion Radial will buff Farsight if you use it beforehand. Hybrid - Support. Core if you keep pets on a tight leash. Radial if they run around all willy-nilly. Assault Radial if you're patient enough to release/resummon pets to keep Assault active all of the time. Assault Hybrid is buggy on pets. It will only work 100% of the time if it is cast/active when summoning pets, everytime you enter a mission or zone to a new area. So if you enter a mission with your pets already active, and use Assault Hybrid, there is a good chance your pets will not get the buff. But if any MM primary is worth the headache of setting up Assault Hybrid on an MM, it would be Necro. Just to get pets and Soul Extraction pets performing doublehits would be pretty great. It will equate to a lot of extra damage for it's duration.
  18. Thermal shields provide +damage resistance while Protector Bots provide +defense. Thermal works well with Demons because Demon pets have inherent high damage resist and Thermal shields stacks on top of that. Demons will be at +90% resist to several damage types, and most times Thermal heals is enough to keep them alive. The Bots/Thermal combo would do well in most content but may struggle in others. I think you will be healing harder when fighting enemies that stack -def debuff. But on the other hand, I find range pets easier to play than melee pets so Bots/Thermal may do just as well as Demons/Thermal. I think on paper, Dark is the strongest MM secondary. To varying degrees, Dark checks off a lot of boxes a player may want in a MM secondary. +Defense - Shadow Fall -Defense - N/A +Dam Res - Shadow Fall -Dam Res - Tar Patch +Tohit - N/A -Tohit - Darkest Knight/Fearsome Stare +Heals - Twilight Grasp +Regen - N/A -Regen - Twilight Grasp/Howling Twilight +Absorb - N/A +End - N/A (Theft of Essence) -End - N/A +Damage - N/A -Damage - Darkest Knight/Twilight Grasp KD/KB - N/A +Mez Pro/Res - Shadow Fall -Mez 1 - Howling Twilight/Petrifying Gaze -Mez 2 - Fearsome Stare/Tar Patch Rez - Howling Twilight Extra Pet - Dark Servant Proc Slots - Multiple on most powers
  19. I think we get our 3rd tier 1 pet at level 14 or 16. Pretty soon after getting our first tier 2 pet at level 12. Just slot what you collect while playing. The P2W vendor has some freebie procs that are good until level 20 or something. Level 20 is when I start looking at collecting IOs for the build. Some key IOs become slottable around that level like Performance Shifter proc and Miracle +rec.
  20. I think Acid Arrow is pretty good. It's sort of the bread/butter of the set. I have it slotted with Achilles' and Annihilation procs. Did a short test to see how often they activate on a single target. They will trigger more on multiple targets. 33 Acid shots, Achilles' activated 14 times and Annihilation activated 12 times. Here's a screenshot and made a video. I don't know why their percentages are so high. I thought Achilles' is -20% and Annihilation is -12.5%. As for stacking holds with the Oni, create a new tab window that displays pet attacks. When Oni uses Char, click the Oni and launch an Ice Arrow at his target. The new tab can be disconnected from the main chat window and moved around. But it's tough with 6 pets, that window scrolls fast. As for the -res portion of Acid, it makes debuffs stronger. Like Solomon Grundy stronger. Here are a couple screenshots. First one shows the targets tohit bonus with Flash Arrow (-42.11%). The second one shows the same Flash Arrow debuff + Accid Arrow used immediately after (-58.54%). It will improve your teammates debuffs too. Though I thought Acid was supposed to debuff regen and rec but it doesn't show it on the combat attributes screen, or it doesn't at all. Acid improves a few other TA powers as well.
  21. I took Flash, Poison, Disruption, Acid, Oil Slick, Emp and Ice. Skipped Entangling and Glue. But I'm paired with Beasts and only have one personal MM attack as a mule.
  22. Both Cold and TA should be pretty good with Ninjas. Softcap pets with Cold shields; equivalent softcap with TA's Flash Arrow. They both have a proc monster power (Infrigidate and Ice Arrow). I say play TA. Flash Arrow's -tohit debuff will helps the MM's survivability. Cold, less so except for Arctic Fog. Thematically TA works better (Unless you have some zany backstory of an eskimo-ninja clan), and overall is more fun to play imo.
  23. I only run with team inspira on MMs for this exact reason. Their radius is about 15' around the MM. Toss in multiple bids on /ah, they're usually all purchased by next login. Though they're so seldom used that winning 10-20 of each type will last forever. I hear ya. I have a tendency to min/max most builds. 22 slow proc activations on the T3 may not seem like a lot but they're all against a single pylon. All Dire Wolf's slow attacks are AoE, couple cones and a PBAoE. The slow procs has more impact vs groups of enemies. I didn't post the log but in the 151sec duration, the Dire Wolf used Chilling Howl 7 times, Freezing Roar 7 times and Terrible Howl 2 times. 22 proc activations off 16 attacks on a single target. In that same time frame, the Dire Wolf used Vicious Bite 16 times and Maiming Bite 14 times, 30 attacks for 7 Lady Grey proc activations. I probably build MMs different than others. Pick powers, slot up and add IOs, while omitting the pets until last. Try to get the MM to a point I'm happy, then slot pets freely, without needing the set bonuses that pet IOs provide. Below build for example, MM will be softcap with the Protector Bot shield buff active. Capped S/L res. Good amount of +recharge, decent amount of endurance. Overall, I'm satisfied with the MM's power picks/survivability/sustainability. To me, there's little reason to slot full pet IO sets. Sure, a full SMoS set or a SCotMM set could be added to gain some more endurance and +6% res to some damage types, but in doing so I'm taking away 10% res to all damage types to 6 pets and/or 5% def to all positions/damage types to all pets. I like making the pets the highlight of the build. And I'm not saying the way I build is the best way. Someone posted a video of his Bots/Traps soloing Arachnos +4x8. I definitely can't do that.
  24. So I have some time off between Xmas to New Years and started to replay Beast/TA. Just realized the radius of Pack Mentality isn't the same distance as Supremacy, 60'. It's about half that, 25-30'. If further away than that, pets doesn't seem to accumulate PM stacks unless the MM uses personal MM attacks. All those times playing, hanging back, shooting arrows. Or pylon testing and Hover/Provoke off to the side. I couldn't figure out why PM stacks were so slow/minimal. I sort of want to remake a Scrappermind so that I'm always close to beast pets. Maybe try pairing TA with Ninjas. Here's a vid of testing the Pack Mentality distance: Here's a pylon test video. 2m31s, 151s, 382dps. T4 Musculature Core, T4 Degenerative Radial, T4 Hybrid Assualt (Off). A T1 pet died close to the end: T1 - Achilles 33 activations T1 - Lady Grey 23 activations T1 - Shield Breaker 42 activations T3 - Lady Grey 7 activations T3 - Impeded Swiftness 12 activations T3 - Ice Mistral 10 activations 39 crits
  25. That would be awesome! Trash a group, all the pets hop on the MM's bicycle and they move on to the next spawn.
