  1. Most pets can hit softcap with Cold. Beasts, Thugs, Bots and Ninjas can all get there. Mercs should be able to get softcap range/AoE. Enflame has a PBAoE aura when a target is standing still. Small radius, probably 7'.
  2. We can tell what the pet defenses will be when at 50 and IO'd with the slotting you have in Mids': Deflection/Insulation (+PB/Agility Core Alpha) will provide +26.71% M/R/A. Dispersion (+Agility Core) will provide +12.89% M/R/A Maneuvers (+Agility Core) will provide +4.2% M/R/A. Tactical Upgrade base def values at level 50 is +6.22% range and +3.73% AoE. With the 3 LotG IOs + Agility Core, it buffs those numbers by +69.94%. That will put pet ranged def at +10.57% and AoE at +6.34%. Your pet totals will be: Melee +43.80% Range +54.37% AoE +50.14% If the SCotMM ATO was kept, AoE will be at +65.14%. Also for Spec-Ops, add +2.48% to those totals to account for their Stealth power. An Edict or Call to Arm unqiue would get their melee def to softcap too.
  3. Few things: The build is missing the Steadfast Protection unique for +3% def. The build is over the cap for LotG +7.5% rech. Pets do not get the Shield Wall +res bonus when slotted in Tactical Upgrade. Can swap an LotG set for a Shield Wall set. Probably do not need KB protection. When KB'd while flying, the MM will do a flip in the air and recover quickly. Actually now that I think about it, will the pets do the same when flying? Because I've had pets get KB'd and they lay on the ground for a good minute. I recommend slotting a single Achilles' in pets and adding a couple more damage procs in their place. In Soldiers or Spec-Ops, Achilles' will trigger fairly often when focusing fire on a single boss/elite/AV. Minions/lieuts will still fall quickly without the -res debuff. I have it slotted in Spec-Ops but Soldiers would be ideal. I would consider dropping Repulsing Bolt to take Burst for an extra Achilles' if you feel the build needs it. The +regen portion of the Impervious Skin unique works on Merc pets when slotted in Equip. I'm pretty sure your Merc pets will be softcap to AoE without the SCotMM ATO. (PB + Shields) + Dispersion + Maneuvers + Tactical Upgrade should put them a bit above +45% AoE def. This is probably how I would slot the pets on your build. SMoS ATOs are slotted in the their proper order in each pet. Soldiers with ATOs 3 and 5; Spec-Ops with 1 and 6; Commando with 2 and 4. Soldiers also have Overwhelming/Soulbound procs. Spec-Ops with SCotMM acc/dam, Commando with Sovereign/Expedient unique. Fun build! Good job, man.
  4. Masterminds mostly. 75% of my gameplay is on MMs, 15% Stalkers and final 10 is a mix of Scrappers, Blaster, Corruptor, Sentinel and Brute. Mercs/Storm tops my list.
  5. So weird. When I click the icons, just the stance menu appears. Is there something in the setting that needs to be changed?
  6. What do you mean by status icon? I've only checked stats with Combat Attributes for each pet.
  7. I play a Merc/Storm and it was good even before the changes. Spectacular after i27.5. But I think Necro/Storm will be phenomenal if endurance can be managed. There's a lot of mitigation with continuous knockdown. Pets are pretty sturdy with higher HP, regen and a self heal. A couple FF procs to get Soul Extraction, Tornado, Freezing Rain and Lightning Storm up faster. But like I said, endurance will be rough especially if using MM attacks for the specters.
  8. Impervious Skin works in Equip Robot on all Bot pets. In Upgrade Robot, Protector Bots can trigger Miracle/Regenerative Tissue/Numina's/Panacea only when they heal, and only on themselves. Assault and Drones won't get these buffs.
  9. Give a man a fish; teach a man to fish, yada yada. There are a lot of builds players have posted already. If a specific combination can't be found, just find a Necro/X build and a X/Nature build, and amalgamate them. Some synergies may be lost and some may be created. Adapt it to suit personal needs/wants and playstyle. Integrate must-haves and drop expendables. It will teach a lot about building.
  10. I don't post my builds anymore. I'll give a general critique if someone asks for it for their build. Recommend power/slot/IO changes if they have specific goals they're aiming for. But it sounds like she's asking how to manage pet endurance on a Necro/Nature which I don't have. I run a Necro/Dark.
  11. It's just that Storm is a lot of fun to play. The more I think about it, being paired with Mercs has almost nothing to do with why it's my favorite.
  12. It's explained in the post you quoted but... This is the Necro pet slotting that's enough to allow them to fight nonstop for 15+ minutes without running out of endurance. +33% end reduction in Zombies and two +3 heal/end HOs in Dark Empowerment. I love it. Zombies in TV/films are depicted as undead monsters that do not fatigue. It kind of fits that Necro needs little to no endurance slotting.
  13. Mercs/Storm. It was my favorite even before the changes. Close second would be Thugs/Storm with perma Gang War (Long GW recharge, it will fall to third). Third is Necro/Dark. All my other MMs pale in comparison. Bots/Traps, Demons/Thermal and Beast/TA. Still haven't gotten a Ninja pairing that I like to 50.
  14. The build could use the Shield Wall unique for +5% res to all damage types, and Reactive Defense unique for +3%/scaling +res. Range is alright in Fearsome Stare but really not necessary. Drop those for SW and RD uniques. Imo, Shadow Fall is worth slotting with some +dam res since there is a lot of energy damage in incarnate trials. It will help get N/T res to cap. Can probably get +75% S/L res if Box/Kick and Tough are taken. I would probably sacrifice Soul Tentacles and Oppressive Gloom to pick them up. Slot the purple set into Howling Twilight and use it frequently for an AoE stun. I went the Scorpion Shield route as I wanted to be softcap to S/L/E with one Darkest Night activation. Certain unique IOs work on pets when slotted in their upgrades. Enchant Undead: Impervious Skin +regen applies to pets. Dark Empowerment: Miracle, Numina's, Regenerative Tissue and Panacea. Dark Empowerment is a pretty good to slot up. Heal IOs improve the pet's self-heal. Heal IOs also raise the pet's max HP which in turn, improves their regen. Endurance improves the pet's end usage. I don't feel the MM attacks are worth adding procs to. Their chances to proc are low and the build may not have the endurance to spam them frequently. A lot of people will disagree but don't bother slotting the Lich for -tohit debuffs. The MM has Darkest Night and Fearsome Stare. All the pets have -tohit with a lot of their attacks. Fluffy also has -tohit as well. Slot the Lich like normal for acc and dam, Cloud Senses proc and mules for pet unique IOs. Or with some acc/mez and dam/mez HOs to improve it's hold/immob/fear. Regardless I think your build will perform well. Alot of stuff I mentioned is just my own personal preference or playstyle.
  15. StJ/SR, NB/Regen, Sav/ElM and Staff/Stone all seem pretty top tier to me.
  16. +Damage bonuses can be built higher. I had +60% at one point on my SR Stalker but settled on +52% in favor of more survival. That includes +10% from Hybrid Assault and +10.5% from Leadership Assault. Sets to look for: +2% - Red Fortune, Adjusted Targeting +2.5% - Performance Shifter, Gaussian's, Touch of Death, PVP IOs +3% - Mako's, Obliteration, Overwhelming Force +4% - ATO 1+2, Apocalypse, Soulbound Allegiance Still has a lot of damage procs, unique IOs, softcap def, perma Hasten and enough recharge to run a top attack chain.
  17. The build is missing the Steadfast +3% def unique. I recommend building for more +recharge just to get Tar Patch and Howling Twilight up as often as possible. More Luck of the Gambler +7.5% and split Superior Mark of Supremacy for multiple +10%. Five slot Howling Twilight with Absolute Amazement. Numina/Regenerative Tissue are not very useful slotted in Maintenance Drone/Upgrade Robot. MD can trigger Numina's on itself but is unaffected by the +regen/rec. Protector Bots can trigger RT on themselves when they heal a target but would be more useful healing their bot-mate for a higher amount. Theft of Essense proc is useful in Twilight Grasp if the build has endurance issues. Overwhelming Force KD IO is great in Battle Drones. It gives all their attacks a chance to KD. Most of the Assault Bot's attacks knockback anyways. The Sudden Acceleration KB-KD IO would be a good replacement. The +regen portion of Impervious Skin works on all pets if slotted in Equip Robot. Protector Bots has a +13% def bubble (Unenhanced) to M/R/A and S/L/F/C/E/N (No Toxic or Psionic def). It lasts for 4 minutes and recasts it when it wears off. It's +def stat doesn't show on Mids' so your defense numbers are higher than they appear. The build may not even need Scorpion Shield. Without it, defense numbers will be around +25-30%. Add the Protector's +13, they will be at +38-43%. Add Darkest Night and/or Fearsome Stare, and the build will at equivalent softcap def. Regardless the build will probably perform well if no changes are made. Good job, man.
  18. Vengeance can't be cast on a dead pet but pretty sure pets get the buff when it's used on a fallen teammate.
  19. Unable to open the build for some reason. I have a NB/Regen Stalker with +965% regen and at one point, made a MID's build for a Kat/Regen Scrapper with +930% or something. But is easier to achieve with Divine Avalanche helping with +def, but I'm sure you can scrounge for more. Rule of 5. We can slot 5 of one type of set bonus. Anything above 5 will not benefit the build. Just from the screenshot, it looks like your build has five +10%, two +12% and two +16% regen buffs from set bonuses. Two slot Numina/Overwhelming Force for more +12%. Take Dark Blast/Summon Widow for two more +16%. Also two slot Pounding Slugfest for +8% regen. Two slot Power Transfer for +6% regen. 2409 is Scrapper HP cap. Won't be able to get more than that. Even if base HP + Dull Pain + IO set bonuses + accolades = 2700 HP, the build will still be capped at 2409. If you're way above that number, alter some IOs to get just enough to cap yourself. Take into consideration accolades if planning to get them. I think your build would benefit with Hasten providing +70% recharge. It could free up some slots to chase for more regen or def. Also consider taking Physical Perfection. It will provide more +regen in the end, but will lose Shadow Meld.
  20. I would say it depends on your build and playstyle. I skipped the Medicine pool and have no regrets. To help compensate, Power Transfer proc slotted in Stamina, Physical Perfection and Superior Conditioning plus Panacea proc in Health. They heal an average of 14.90 hp/s on top of regular regen. On my build, it works out to about 32 hp/s total. Three Power Transfers + one Panacea, in one minute (19:56) healed for 1041.44 hp, about 17.36 hp/s. The next minute (19:57), they healed for 852.04 hp, around 14.20 hp/s. Final minute (19:58), healed for 972.52, about 16.21 hp/s. It seems higher than 14.90 hp/s but I did a 30 minute test in the past and the average was lower than this 3 min test. Advantages: 1. No endurance cost. 2. No cast time. 3. No interrupt time. 4. For Regen enthusiasts, they're not effected by -regen debuffs. Drawbacks: 1. Heals less than Aid Self. 2. Untimely, random when the heals happen. 3. When getting pummeled, there's a good chance when PT/Pan heals, it won't be enough to make a difference. 4. Four dedicated slots without set bonus. Slotted Preventive Medicine +absorb and took Rebirth Radial Destiny. Also Reactive Defense unique to stack with SR's scaling damage resist from Agile and Dodge. Also Spinning Strike's KD effect can be useful at times.
  21. I would probably build for softcap S/L def or +32.5% to S/L/E. Then build for +recharge. Just to get Regen/Rec Auras up as often as possible. Also to get Fort's recharge down to 20s or less so it can be cycled between pets to give them perma softcap def.
  22. FF is pretty amazing on MMs. Played around a bit on Beta. Slotted Deflection/Insulation + PB + Clarion Radial + slotted Dispersion will softcap any/all pets within range to M/R/A and S/L/F/C/E/N. Add slotted Maneuvers + Edict + CtA will get them above incarnate softcap, +58.5%, to the same positions and damage types. That's alot of def for a minimal amount of power picks and slots. Might be overkill for defense pets like Bots, Ninjas etc. Great for resist pets like Necro, Mercs etc. I'm going to probably try pairing FF with Ninjas. Get pets to incarnate softcap and build the rest as my first Scrappermind. Or maybe just walk around lazily in the Personal FF.
  23. I love my Mercs/Storm. Having the extra power to slot pet IOs (Tornado) is helpful for slotting Merc pets to their full potential without sacrificing any pet uniques. It's surprising to see how much mitigation knockdown can provide and Storm has an endless supply of KD powers. This combo was able to breeze through +4x8 Council before the i27.5 changes.
