Rad/Fire has been the next on my list for this. Good info.

@Marshal_General Those numbers are all available, though new numbers would be helpful. @Solarverse The numbers included breakdowns of counts at 32, 49, & 50. @Naraka Regeneration likely benefits among the most of melee power sets in endgame where team buffs are so prevalent. Easy example: A Super Reflexes character might not benefit as much from +def team buffs. Regen soaks up team buffs where they may be wasted on some power sets. You all have valid points. Just don't sleep on a character that gets 1500-1600% regeneration on 2000hp and easy moderate defense from sets and pools. I appreciate bringing attention to some weaknesses that could be addressed.

Update: Stone Melee/Regeneration Brute (good but not non-dialed in build, no incarnates, boosts or inspirations) Trap Door Runs: Averaged 15-18 minutes. (Lots of misses.. so many)

Did some testing, still think Regeneration as is would be good on a Tank. Stone Melee/Regeneration Brute (good but not non-dialed in build, no incarnates, boosts or inspirations) Trap Door Runs: Averaged 15-18 minutes. (Lots of misses.. so many) No real danger. Didn't feel like the knifes edge found in some other content. This might be different if a player doesn't prioritize Tarantulas, Mu, & Widows, (-recharge can add up fast.) Typical run used Instant Healing once and Dull pain as needed (rather than perma). MoG gets used when green bar melts to quick or needed the +Recovery. While I did +5 any common IOs and used HOs at 53 the build could use more accuracy. Other improvements could help speed up the run. It was the misses more than needing to click a heal that slowed things down. Brute - Stone Melee - Regeneration.mxd Does Regeneration survive in this environment? Oh yeah, but it is active. Just standing there like some other powersets is not possible.

Stone Melee/Regeneration Brute (non-dialed in build, no incarnates, boosts or inspirations) Averaged 15-18 minutes. This was more to test Regeneration sturdiness rather than clear time. (Lots of misses, could be improved greatly) Don't feel bad if trying this challenge and it takes a couple runs to dial things in.

My efforts were over multiple sittings. Want to squeeze a run all into one sitting and share results in the other thread. I did get distracted by the easier trapdoor testing and then football took over this past weekend.. my excuse bag is HUGE.

Just curious if you have any algorithms for measuring 'fun'? Player, build, etc all can have large impacts on a time. I do agree that it is a good measure against one's self. (I see now Hjarki has similar reply) @Makobola I see you've added some more details. This is encouraging.

Odd that it is independent, linked to from the forums as the Issue 25+ resource, and has a Donate button.

Yes. But I don't have 1,000+ bids for this item. I removed the bids and still stuck. 45 minutes. At the time, tested a different item that I had about the same number of bids on.. no issue. So weird. [note: these did eventually clear by the next time I logged back in 6-7 hours later]

How or Why is this possible?! 1,000+ bidding Selling them for 1 or 100 2 did sell for 120,000 but not the rest Broken?

Take it with a grain of salt. Recent changes may have shuffled and elevated some.

Oooo someone made a new account for this topic?! Hahahahahaha I agreed with about 50% of the OP.. ..the rest could be described as hubris. "Hubris, or, less frequently, hybris, describes a personality quality of extreme or excessive pride or dangerous overconfidence, often in combination with arrogance." Put in the work and I'll give you props. I'll edit this with more thoughts

friendly p.s.a. "/regeneration is the most popular secondary" (in the game) and just in case someone feels compelled to retort with "but they never make it to 50"

Solid plan and execution. -
That's strange. For me it would be "Especially my regen lol 😆" So I am on my third run using a non-incarnate brute (Stone Melee/Regeneration) I've been using to test solo ITFs. It does have accolades. I'm not using any inspirations or boosts. I can use buildup or wait for it if I get blinded, though it is not happening often. Not gonna set any records but more importantly, not in any dire danger either. It is does help to prioritize targets. For this character on this mission, -recharge and -endurance debuffers. -Recharge being the priority but even that Mu in the back of the group will eventually cause an issue. Could speed up by dragging groups together but not sure if it's kosher to jump down to the next level without clearing. Sometimes this is totally the case when going fast. MoG is up for the next two groups to aggro together. Most of the time it just sits there behind Dull Pain & Instant Healing. On the Trapdoor runs above. Dull Pain is usually enough leaving Instant Healing and MoG unused.

I don't know anything about that game. Glad you like your characters all too much to pick one.

@JJDrakken ?!! What you briefly described here is not cool. If you check back and see this, please do the rest of a favor and report the offenders. Hope to see you around, I've shared your builds with tons of new folks and they've always been appreciative.

Silver age is a bit tough. Silver Age.costume Putting chest piece es over metal upper & lower body has worked well for me. The chest piece, arms, boots and helmet than add the flavor. Alternate.costume Steam.costume Add the attached costume files to the costume folder and they should be available then in game. ..\City of Heroes\Costumes

I agree. The old version of Mercy was my preference as well.

yeah.. still likely goes back to kids with dice. Champions intellectual property (IP) from Hero Games. First published in 1981 vs D&D a variation of the 1971 game Chainmail serving as the initial rule system. Dungeons & Dragons was the first modern role-playing game and it established many of the conventions that have dominated the genre. Particularly notable are the use of dice as a game mechanic.

Here ya go. JJ's page sometimes loads funny. Using your browser search for 'Fire Blast', it's the third one.

wait, that's not what I wrote.. how much cold medicine... whew, that's wasn't what I wrote but the sentiment isn't far off. I was just curious what folks would stick with. I think it's good info for new players as well as those looking to try something else.

Chasing defense on a regen character is a bit of a trap. It works until lack of DDR kicks in, then it is wasted. Instead think of it as a resistance set. 1600% regeneration at 2400hp = ___ amount of resistance (resistance to all damage types) Then add some actual typed resistance. In this way it is effectively a way to exceed resistance caps. Just a different way of thinking.

Instant Healing currently puts my Regen characters in the 1600% area. This would obviously be overpowered as a toggle. Would I trade the big number over two minutes for a smaller number full time + the endurance drag.. Personally, I just don't need it full time. Instant Healing as a toggle + Dull Pain being able to perma just seems like a non starter. Too good for high end builds while lower levels suffer. Not disagreeing with your post @cohRock. Just adding to it that some folks can solo 4x8 on regen without level shifts. (non-incarnate) (really, if folks can 4x8 on non-melee, folks could do it here) I do have some concern about performance of regen at lower levels. At 30-32 my stalker has never really had any issues, maybe it just fits Stalkers or my playstyle.
