  2. what i mean is when you go to the costume creator and try to recolor any shield powers, u simply can't because there isn't anything to recolor. As far as the stalker thing goes im not sure why they have grant cover in the 1st place lol.
  3. while this is an interesting suggestion it begs the question what happens to your costume when you get healed? does it magically stitch up? i could see this working with magic chars and even tech (unstable molecules) but how bout natural heroes in plainclothes? Maybe once the costume is damaged you gotta get repairs (inf sink). Maybe you hafta switch costumes to repair. It might be easier to code parts of your costume vanishing as your take damage? this idea requires some fleshing out.
  4. This has been requested and suggested often. Generally the idea for a transparency slider or adjuster is well received by players. It looks like the HC team has been fiddling with stealth/invis for a while. 1st they removed the movement penalty from stealth and then they removed stealth stacking or allowed stealth stacking depending on who you ask but I digress. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope the next adjustment they make to the transparent powers will be aesthetic in nature.

  6. 1st of all I am a fan of shield The perceived problems and suggested improvements come from a place of love. I'm not trying to make this set like all the others or create more power creep, just balance things out a bit. Ok I'm gonna avoid the whole why can't we throw the shield conversation. Shield charge works great as this armor sets only offensive attack. 1. Grant cover......this power seems fairly useless considering it does nothing for you and only buffs your team. Which for tanks could be useful but for stalkers it's just a little strange. Can we turn this power into.... A. Block (toggle) When block is enabled character is rooted and may not run jump or fly. All incoming damage is reduced by X% Block also creates a taunting field which taunts all foes in X range. Your attack speed is slowed by X% when blocking. Yes I'm aware this sounds like granite but it's the closest mechanism the game already has for a potential damage soaking meat shield power. 2. No heals and no endurance recovery. I'm aware Super reflexes is also built in this manner and while this may be fine for stalkers or scrappers but it's reduces survivability in tanks which is why one rarely see super reflexes tanks. (rarely) B. True Grit should have a regen component instead of max health. while this doesn't "fix" the issue it does help offset DOTs like caltrops/burn. Constant dots are crippling when you don't have a heal, even with capped defenses some of those dots get through. 3. Aesthetics. Shield armor has no colors or unique animations in fact when wielding shield you are effectively shield locked into a shield animation. C. characters have little purple shields that hover around them. We have a giant shield we can project under our feet. This just seems like an oversight. Yeah I'm aware there's a ton of auras already but I'm sure there's an underutilized aura out there we can repurpose for shields XD
  7. Dude I really don't know how to thank you for such a simplified process so uh 100+ pts to Gryffindor or whatever your house is. Im playing a shapeshifter who doesn't have control over the shift so random shifts work perfectly for this chars theme. on a side note, would there happen to be a similar way to also add SG mode costume in the mix, for alternate colors per shift?

  11. Hey I dunno if this has been suggested or requested and I apologize if I'm whipping an unknown dead horse. But is there an obvious reason the various mez from symphonic control don't make enemies dance?
  12. sorry i thought the pictures were self explanatory. pic 1 shows holding a gun in ninja stance. pic 2 shows holding the blade in ninja stance pic 3 shows holding no weapons while running in ninja stance (aka Naruto) pic 4 shows that it IS possible to hold the blade in the left hand and the gun in the right occasionally while in combat (not while running) pic 5 is edited to show what i would like to be implemented. I'm not sure if dual wielding on sets that don't have access to 2 weapons is a concern here. and while the current system allows only 1 or the other, that is kind of the point of my request. Also please see pic #3. It is possible to dual wield under very specific conditions. My specific request is to run with a weapon in each hand just for aesthetic purposes this is indicated in pic #4. I apologize for any confusion the pictures without context caused.
  13. im not against money sinks tbh and your suggestions aren't terrible especially if the costs are so high it dissuades abuse. Personally im confused by the new currency. like, did we really need another? and yeah im counting all the currencies used to purchase various items whether they are incarnate currencies or merits of various types. Ill get used to it eventually but are they gonna keep adding new currencies? where does it end?
  14. Greetings everyone Id like to propose a change that is purely cosmetic in nature. So i have a AR/Ninja Blaster and i get this all the time I also get this This isnt difficult either If im in combat occassionally i can do this But for some reason i cant do the next photo, but ive altered it to show what id like implemented. This would be visually awesome and not power creep in any way. Thanks for reading my ted talk lol
  15. ive said it before and ill say it again. longer cast times should = bigger damage numbers. Either speed up the cast times or raise the dmg on longer ones to make them worth using. I mean i for one love city of aoes but sometimes i wanna shoryuken something 😁

  17. Agreed the kheldians feel like they take too much effort to be fun at least for me. On paper their specs look amazing though. Can we at lease recolor novas and dwarfs?
  18. easily remedied with a combo system where using cross punch after kick deals crit dmg. they improved stealth pool and teleport maybe its on the short list for modifications?

  20. why not just eliminate punch and kick from the fighting pool entirely lol jk. Power trees are a large part of the rpg experience. maybe improve the earlier powers so they are more viable and not just stepping stones

  22. personally for arrows id like colored trails and whistles but the bow switching is probably more feasible
  23. Greetings everyone. Ive seen a lot of threads calling for the improvement of archer and assault rifle for various reasons. This request/suggestion will not improve functionality its purely for aesthetics. Because neither guns nor archer allow recoloring of their abilities AND 90% of the animations are the same regardless of the power being used..... Can we have a tailor option where we switch weapons per power? Now hear me out 1. Many of us already turn off redraw for smoother play so random guns teleporting into your hand already happens. 2 . using an uzi for burst and a sniper rifle for snipe just makes sense thematically 3. This option is purely voluntary so if you just want 1 gun thats fine too 4. last the new option where we can wear our gun on our back already allows for different weapons to visually appear besides the one we use with a power. I dont know if this has been suggested before and i dont know how feasible it is. Thanks for reading XD
